So glad I had came across this video because I was in my 5month transition stage and the beautician told me she’d have to cut all my hair down to my new growth in order to start locs smh thank God i didn’t listen and got a second opinion and found your video. Got my locs done yesterday and I’m so excited for my loc journey 🥰❤️ Thank you for posting and responding back to comments, you’re such a big help
Omgggg same here I just relax my hair like 4 months ago and I have like 16in of relax hair and she said the same thing im like girl bye im not cutting all my hair off 😅
Yes I was told the same too … I haven’t had relaxer since last year july but at the time they told me I would have to wait for the relaxer to grow out - glad I got a second opinion
I wonder if you eventually did get your hair in locs. I relaxed my hair 2 months ago and don't really have undergrowth. Really regret making that decision cos the stylist is saying we have to wait for it to grow out
You are AWESOME!!!!!!👏🏾 I have learned things from you I didn’t in other videos and I have watched a LOT. For example, I did not know the loc size eventually correlates with the part size after it swells up. Been loc’d now since December 2023 and I was instant loc’d, love it. Thank you!!!!!!❤🎉
I just did this 2 weeks ago, with my heat damaged ends, but i had about 3 inches of new growth, lot a teasing on my ends but it was so easy im glad i did it ! I love my instant locs!
Yeah it’s a wrap I need mine done❤️also as a stylist I found this video so helpful and informative.and the method seems user friendly enough to learn.🤗
My Loctician did the braid out method on my relaxed hair and it will not loc. gonna take them out and try this myself or else I’m gonna be waiting for at least a good year. I don’t get why should wouldn’t just do this method… thanks for sharing ❤
Amazing job i think its the best I've seen so far on youtube, only thing is i wish you were located in Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 shit I'll probably will have to fly out Amazing job again keep it up💯💯💯💯💯💯
So please with this crochet hair, can you be maintaining it with only palmrolling anytime you maintaining it or you will need the interlocking,or what's the special way of maintaining this kind of locks,Thank you
Relaxed hair tends to be thinner than natural hair but also these are instant locs.normally it takes year to form locs “naturally” this way gives you the extra locked look but instantly for those who want that style right away starting out.
So if you wanted to maintain some length you would blow dry prior, and not tease the hair. After the head is instant locd you would go back and wash the hair after wards and then retwist the client.
And I was told I start off with twist because of heat damage and my hair is straight. Now I’m a little disappointed cause I want mine to look like this without the wait 😩
When i have 2 strand twists, the length covers mearly to the bottom of my forehead, and that's without blow drying. I'm hoping to have locs hit ATLEAST halfway past my forehead so do you think thats possible if I get instant locs? I probably have somewhere between 8-12 inches of hair length when my afro is fully blow dryed by the way. If possible id even send a picture of my hair so i could get an answer. I want locs lol but I just dont want them coming out teeny
Thanks for the video. Question. Do you have to clip the relaxed ends when she comes back? I’m relaxed but I haven’t had a relaxer in 6 months. I’m worried about the ends of hair.
Thank you for watching. No i don’t you can see my work on tik tok qbxoxo_ i have a client who has been Loc’D for a year and 10 months who started with instant locs on relaxed hair it converts by the 10th month
Ok so my hair isn't relaxed it just looks relaxed I started my loc journey today but the back of my hair is real short, should I trust the process or accept the fact locs aren't for me?
Hi, I wanted to start coils locs but the beautician said I would have to twist the ends due the ends being straight. I got a perm 4-5months ago. I don’t really want the twist . Def not at the ends . Should I find someone else ?
Can I still use that technique even if I cut some of the perm off can I still use the technique that you're doing now if so can you please do a tutorial on that as well

I was told the same thing. Watching this video has helped ease my anxiety
I'm so glad to see it's possible, I relaxed my hair last month and regretting not doing my locs.
I did the same think
I’m feeling the same way. I perm my natural a month ago, and regret 😂😂😂
Don't allow them add that much products to your hair though
It causes build up
Same😩

Instant locs for me. Yes parting is everything. That’s the reason I took down my long locs.

But I always get hurt by the crochet needle please why?😅
U really inspired me to start mine this weekend I love the parting. How did u part the top?
This is beautiful, I started my Loc’s today with straight hair but my ends were still straight and didn’t turn out like this.
Beautiful! You got me wanting to fly out to you. Anyone here know someone in Charlotte NC who can do this ASAP?
Can you do a video on how to part for starter locs based on how big or small a client wants them to be
Amazing job i think its the best I've seen so far on youtube, only thing is i wish you were located in Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 shit I'll probably will have to fly out Amazing job again keep it up💯💯💯💯💯💯

I'm getting instant locs this month. I have relaxed but it's been 5 months and my hair is thick. I'm hoping I don't have any breakage.
Crochet is everything
I am researching in order to begin my loc journey. What is the purpose of back combining the hair? Will that cause frizzing? You did an amazing job!💓
Relaxed hair tends to be thinner than natural hair but also these are instant locs.normally it takes year to form locs “naturally” this way gives you the extra locked look but instantly for those who want that style right away starting out.
You will get freeze anyway when you begin your locs.
