  • Hello everyone!
Here as promised is another set of Witchy books that I’ve really enjoyed. I really hope you enjoy hearing about them and if you’ve read any of them, I’d love to know what you thought of them. I’d also love to know if you can identify with any of the experiences I mention in my review of the final book. Menopause is an experience all women either have, or will go through and I hope we can find comfort and reassurance in talking about it in our community.
Thank you so much for being here. I appreciate every single one of you more than you will ever know.
    Blessed be xxx

This was such a lovely video. They always are..loved these books. Especially the last one. I'm 64 this year and have gone through the menopause at 50..... Still am 😱
I've gone through a lot during menopause. Left a marriage of over 30 years... ( controlling coercive behaviour).. it's been really hard, so my menopause symptoms have been mixed in with the anxiety and CPTSD of what I've been going through.. At the moment 14 years into the menopause my words get jumbled up. I talk absolute jibberish some days. Simple words become ridiculous.
I'm hoping my menopause symptoms end soon.. maybe they have... I can't tell...
    Thank you gorgeous your video

Your hair is so lovely! Thank you for sharing more lovely books! And yes, an over 40 viewer here. Maybe it's an age thing but I'm not really interested in following much younger people about things of wisdom and experience such as spirituality. Your channel is very cozy and comforting. I love how you take us through the things you want to share in a calm and authentic manner. Like having a chat with someone I can relate to, so thank you once again. I also have not had kids, the opportunity had not come up but it's not something I feel I need to do either, so I'm not disturbed over it but yes, it's when the door closes that there's a reckoning. But isn't that how life is anyway? A constant change and need for adaptation, just in different spheres. At this point, we should indeed be proud to have made it this far, learnt all that we have and still are, and take it easy on ourselves. I cannot wait to see your next video! Much love

I had hysterectomy aged 29 but I am so grateful that my boys were born the 6 years previous.
I was not given hormone replacement and unfortunately, at the age I am now it has caused so many problems. Brain fog is particularly frustrating for me, but there have been some horrific problems recently. Vaginal atrophy is particularly horrid.
I found a book called Witch Wisdom for Magical Aging by Cait Johnson. It is a very easy read but I would like to get a copy of " in praise of the crone".There is a book called Hagitude by
Sharon Blackie too which is a fun read x
I think as we age, we have an increasing need for women of our own age, who we can discuss these things with. Often, our parents and grandparents have passed, and we are very blessed, if we still have some of them here. Our parents were from a different era, so their take on menopause is often very different to ours. So yes, we need others who get it.
Thanks for speaking openly about this matter, have a wonderful week xx

I was so surprised by the misery that menopause has brought. I thought I knew my body inside it but sometimes it feels like a total stranger to me. I was on HRT patches but then last June I was suddenly diagnosed with a heart condition that meant I had to discontinue it straight away because of the risk of blood clots. So I find myself going through it unsupported in that respect. I wish my Mum was still here to talk to, she passed in 2018 and I really miss her for so many reasons.
Thank you for sharing your book recommendations! I will definitely have a look for them. I really hope you feel supported by our little community and you are very welcome here xxx

I had hysterectomy done at 36y and no HRT also, so my menopause was kind of artificially induced and it was a nightmare (even with HRT I actually got when I was 45 - which I also had to stop as I felt worse) nothing really worked (sage tea was helping for sweating and little bit for hot flushes).

West ‘s ‘ The real witches’ year’ because it sounds attractive from your review but not a heavy task at the same time, not a book I must read from cover to cover to appreciate it, I suppose. Uggggh the 'pause... that Dorothy Morrison book looks like a mandatory read... I experienced rage, lots of blind rage, plus flushes... and I haven't slept a full night in over 7 years... a loss of concentration skills, aches and pains, but thankfully no brain fog.
Anyway, love books, so love hearing recommendations... my first may have been Starhawk, The Spiral Dance...I had a couple of Scott Cunninghams, still have his reference books. As I am in New Zealand, Juliet Battens Celebrate the Southern Seasons has long been the bible!!
