Yesterday I was lucky enough to visit the amazing Lost Cauldron - the magical shop created by the lovely @cherrywallis - in Matlock, Derbyshire. I’ve been waiting for this for ages and it was worth waiting for!
Here are the things I chose - I really hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed choosing them!
At the moment The Lost Cauldron is a purely physical shop and does not offer an online service.
The shop is located at 75a Matlock Green, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3BT.

I live in the United States and I started watching you a few months back. I’ll be honest I started watching you because of the name of your channel. It is so nice to see people in our age group talking and teaching about the craft. I followed Cherry as she & Leslie brought T.L.C to life. I wasn't aware of her prior to the initial video popping up in my feed but I really enjoyed watching everything come together & wish her every success.
Not being a fan of Mr Potter myself 😉 I thought your explanation of T.L.C was beautifully said & the items you came away with are all glorious treasures. I spied the bee's wnen Cherry did her walkthrough prior to opening & loved them!

I am a long time fan of Cherry's channel and found your video as I was looking for haul videos from the Lost Cauldron. I am in the US so it will be a while before I can visit myself! Fabulous video Alison. Loved seeing your joy with your new birthday gifts, thank you for sharing this, I would be thrilled to receive any of those things! As I said yesterday in your community post, it would be great to see the things that spoke to you as you wandered around, and they did- the bath salts with " night night" on certainly spoke to a beautiful memory!! The pricing is great too. The incense with the holder was excellent, as was the amber mercury glass candle holder-bargain. So pleased you had a lovely time there and what a beautiful shop it is! That was lovely in every way. I've watched your channel before and this sparked my interest immediately. I don't usually watch haul videos myself but this was delightful ! How nice that you visited the shop! I am an _older gal_ as well who follows her and I saw the shop tour and was *so* jealous of those who are able to visit. I won't be able to as I am in the States. :) I am so surprised at the prices (thank you for showing us that) What fantastic prices. Now maybe I am used to what a shop like that would cost in the States but -wow- I thought her prices were marvelous. There is only one item I thought should *maybe* be a bit lower -- the enamel pin. I might expect that to be a smidge lower, *however* many of the other items I would expect to be higher in price. What a gorgeous shop; I am so glad you treated yourself.
From one older gal to another, thank you so much for watching! I’m really glad you enjoyed it. I was really pleasantly surprised at the prices too. In the UK we are experiencing a huge cost of living crisis at the moment - everyday life has become frighteningly expensive - so I realise that being able to afford nice things comes from a place of massive privilege- but I also think that the tiniest joys are the ones that make life worthwhile. And if that means buying three pretty stickers for £1 from Cherry’s shop to lift your spirits, I am 100% here for it ♥️

The shop looks amazeballs...the incence looks beautiful also the candle holder..my favourite thing u go is the scoop of stones.such a brilliant idea

I have wanted to open a shop so badly for years but i live in the Bible belt where it's kinda shunned on but I don't care. I will one day have a shop and great budget friendly items. I will one day. Ty so much for sharing I'm so happy for her and you.

You picked up some great things. I pay around $9AUD for my hand crafted soaps on a regular basis. A lot of work and good quality ingredients go into these types of hand crafted soaps so they’re worth it to me. But then I’m only buying for myself so they last awhile. Thank you 🙏🏻 so much for this clip.

Florida here! Love this video …it allowed me to find you. I’m headed to England Monday. We will be making our own way in the southeast. I didn’t add driving that far north for our short time there. That would be great!😊 we’ve only been to Derbyshire once, it’s beautiful there. We went to the Devil’s Ar*e cave, and the Blue John cavern & I bought 2 lovely pieces of raw blue John ( the cheaper ones!😂). Xx

That’s it! Castleton! 🙂 I can’t remember where we stayed( it was a long time ago- 2008 maybe?!) in a terraced cottage which was actually quite big, with a back garden that backed on to/ into almost, a rocky hill.
It can’t have been that far from Castleton. Plenty of tea shops sounds good, that would be great to actually meet you! 🥰 xx

Before you mentioned the shop name I thought you were talking about Punny Dukes in Matlock. Have you been there?
Actually, no I haven’t! I have been to The Coven in Matlock Bath but not Punnydukes. We were actually planning to go yesterday but sadly they are closed on Mondays! Never mind though, there is always another day! 😉
