I appreciate your honesty in the costing(s) of the build. I've unsubscribed from so many 'build' channels as they often have hidden sponsors, hidden help or simply farm out all the work without telling viewers. Always making out they have done it all themselves & being less than truthful with costs ... (a very prominent Aussie UA-cam channel comes to mind). Keep up the good work and content ...
Thanks mate! I like to keep it authentic, no reason here to hide anything, was an eye opener adding everything up for sure, the labour was the biggest cost, I reckon I underestimated
Glad u liked it mate I have a music channel as well , go to the home page of my channel it’s a featured channel down below , their is a motivational one as well
$100 bucks in masking tape conclusively displays the ridiculous level of care and effort. Maybe its the ADHD, but I really like this style of video. Noticed it properly at like 10:04 the whole structure is just...perfect. Maybe the majority of viewers would be overwhelmed but I found it oddly soothing lol. The calculations of labour are...strange (in a good way lol). They matter, but then they also don't. What price can be put on a labour of love? Your passion for restoration exceeds your viewership by 100x plus. Keeping old cars on the road is the ultimate passion/sustainabilty idea anyone can have. Reverse giveway? Yeah can I take the that 10k and do all of the bushes on my BF Fairmont? Probably will need some work after LMAO That final message is ultimately perfect. We love our cars, and other cars. We don't need the headache of cops focusing in on us because someone decides to do a 2 min long standstill in the middle of nowhere. If you choose to be irresponsible (I choose this on occasion as well), do it where you're not affecting the rest of us. This was a phenomenal video with a great message, and real clarity on he depth a proper resotration can delve into. win the vee elll....
@georgeauto i try and support the ones i think deserve it and I've seen this vl from the start to now so that's mostly why I entered. I've learnt a lot from your videos & it's gave me the motivation I needed. I mean I'm still a long way away but I've conquered things I never thought I could. Thanks to you. Hahaha
brooo im so happy you said that ! exactly why I post videos to be honest, when I was younger my biggest issue was that I thought I couldn't do things myself... people always make out as if things are so hard.. they spend their life consuming content and doing the same old repetitive things everyday.. .how are we suppose to grow as men and women if we dont keep trying new things, learning sometimes making a mistake, correcting and keep on trying and to never give up!
First one I’m doing bro so seeing how it goes! However I have a online car community that people can join , you pay for access and you get to win the car as a side thing
What about power tools I would love to win this car, my brother smashed my rolla so something i could cruise in and enjoy everyday would beeee hecticccccc!

I'm so glad you put labour costs. Not all of us are mechanics or panel beaters and it gives a realistic price of a build.
Thats a pretty realistic price and possible over time, top notch work george
I really enjoyed your playing on the keyboard there, too, George.
