A great detailer near me told me to always follow these steps for our new black tahoe. Soap the paint with foam cannon then pressure wash rinse ,then foam it again and hand wash. He said the foam then pressure wash step removes all the loose containments and grit that scratch your paint before a wash mitt hits the surface. paint will look swirl free for much longer especially GM black which he said is the softest paint out there. love the channel, keep up the great content.
Thanks for the insight
I always foam em down then pressure wash them off then foam again then I use the 2 bucket method I always do wheels, tires, wheel wells first thing though (I don’t use the same sponge on paint) sharp lookin ride ya got there I’ve got a lb7 dually these trucks get bigger every time you wash them.
I drive a black ‘15 Denali and I know the pain of a black truck. There’s nothing better when she’s clean, but when it’s dirty, it’s filthy. By the way, I love the little Easter egg frame you threw in the video. 😂
Looks good!!! I also have a 2018 GMC black inside and out. I love it, but keeping it clean is a pain for sure.
Yes owned black vehicles and dark green... never again...constantly cleaning them on top of routine cleaning. Armor All has for many years been a great product. Sadly... I remember way back when the tire shine / upholstery shine came out...
Made the seat slippery... bench seat... girlfriend on the passenger side... little tight turn and she was next to you... in those days noone wore seat belts lol 😊...
Lol good video. Truck looks great. If you have a leaf blower... saves time drying !
I know exactly how it is with a Black truck. Its never ending but that looks awesome. Thanks Josh and Mrs Truck Master. 😮❤❤
Thanks
You just took all of that dirt and smeared and scratched your door panel. It is best to use a wet rag to remove the heavy dirt and then use another clean rag to remove the dust from the dash. Then use another clean rag to spread the product on the dash and door panels.
I have a black 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 gas engine… I love this truck
Thank you for sharing this video. I was hearing a lot of negative comments regarding Armor All products, I may give them a try after watching this
One more thing. Never use the same rag/mitt that you use on the tires and wheels on the paint. The tiny metal particles of brake dust will absolutely destroy your paint. It is extremely hard to get those tiny pieces out of the fibers, even if you wash them in a machine. I always wash my rage in two separate loads, and my drying towels in a separate load. Same with drying them.
I have a 22’ Denali Black Diamond. I use Adam’s a polish products. I have my truck ceramic coated with Adam’s Advanced Graphene Ceramic coating. It so far is the best I have used and lasts the longest. I also use their Graphene Shampoo. Then use the Graphene quick detail every other month to give it a boost of ceramic and deep shine. She stays outside all the time, but the Adam’s products work great.
Looks awesome!
Squeaky clean and lookin’ good!
Thanks 👍
Wow that turned out amazing with the help from mis truck master and armor all great job keep up the great videos
Thanks Matt
The ryobi of detailing products!!
My last truck was a black F150. Could not keep it clean, especially in the winter up in the UP. The 5 seconds it looked clean after a wash though, it was beautiful 😅
I would've never known that was a GMC pickup 😂😂
I've owned many black vehicles, from Wranglers to trucks to sports cars. I've also owned several other vehicles in many different colors. Yes, the black can be harder to keep clean and remove the swirl marks. But the one thing I never did with any of them was wash them under the direct Sun. You are just making your job a lot harder. It even says on every bottle you have there Not to wash or treat the surface of the vehicle while it is hot or in direct Sun.
One more tip, it is best to spray the vehicle with clean water and then soap, then rinse, then foam, then wipe, then rinse twice, then towel dry.
When you spray it the first time, the water will remove any loose dirt and debris as well as moisten any that is stuck to the vehicle. Then the foam soap will hopefully remove any larger pieces of debris. The rinse with heave pressure will remove the remaining large particles. This helps reduce the amount of junk that will scratch the paint and cause heave swirl marks. Be sure to use a 2, or even 3 bucket method and change out or rinse and wring out your rage/mitts. Have a dirt guard in the bottom of all of your buckets to separate the dirt/debris that falls to the bottom of the bucket and help keep your rage/mitts clean.
So your first bucket will have the foamy soap, and the one or two other buckets will be clean water. Start with the foamy, then rinse in the first clean water bucket, then wipe the car. When you are ready, rinse the mitt in the 3rd bucket of clean water and wring it out. Then dunk in the foamy bucket, 2nd bucket and wash the vehicle and rinse in third and so on.
Believe me, the three bucket method will save you a lot of time on the buffing, polishing and waxing stages.
I have a black F250 and a black semi. Both extremely hard to keep clean.
*Puts half the bottle of soap in the bucket
“So I added 2oz’s to the bucket”
Your Denali Duramax looks great Josh , hope Armor All makes it all worth it , and yes I own a black truck , and it's terrible keeping her clean
Looking good.
Thanks Joe
Armor all are great products. Good video, the truck looks superb clean. You need to visit here in Ireland and show you what a real dirty black vehicles looks like. The Irish in general don't respect or clean there cars well at all. We get Armor all here too and if it works well here than they are truly tough.
Just noticed you don't have any vent visors.. I know it's preference but four vent visors PTM for the doors adds so much to the overall look of the Truck IMO. Truck is a beauty, and I hate cleaning black 🤪
2007 LBZ 3500 classic.. mine is white, but my second year owning this truck. This year all these bubbles formed under the clear coat and now the clear is flaking off in huge pieces.. not sure what happened, I was thinking maybe the last guy who clear coated it.. may have been a little light on the clear? Or do you think that it could be salt? Thoughts?
Get your money man! Totally agree with sponsorships. Btw, 2 bucket method.
I will try that next time
Do a solid axle swap on Big Red
Yep 2015 GMC sierra here and she’s Black
Ceramic coated in turtle wax, graphing coding, polished out to a mirror shine water and mud just slide right off
Nice 👍
Man you gotta get grit guards and use the two bucket method! That truck is too nice to scratch while washing. It's looks good after a bath though
I guess you have a good point
You should slow down enough to do head gaskets for me on mine 😂🤣👊
You got this 😂👍
Pretty sure I blew up my 07 lbz tonight any ideas where I could find a motor ?
I have a 2022 GMC 3500 HD Denali in Onyx Black. What a pain to clean😩
I have a black vehicle in the bipolar state of Wisconsin. I can't stand when I put hours into detailing and then when I hit the road the truck becomes a magnet to all things dirty!!
I know the feeling
Damn. that 2 ounces in the bucket looked more like 20 ounces😂
I had a black sierra and couldn't keep it clean, now I have a white one and haven't washed it for 6 months and can barely tell
Black 09 chev and white GMC
I have a black 16 Denali 3500. Running hostile 20inch wheels. Basically twins. Haha
Nice 👍
@@TruckMaster yes sir different motor of course That part I’m a little jealous.
Same vibe as the video "add 2 shots of vodka" *procceeds to pour in half the bottle*
Why all the truck lettering covered? ( Black Club cab GMC 2500HD SLT Loaded here) Main claim to fame is being a Dust MAGNET...
I just covered them up because it’s a sponsor video
I’m looking for some help. I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado Duramax 4 wheel drive 2 door cab. What I need help with is can you use the parts on my 4 wheel drive truck and put them on a 2 wheel drive frame?
Armor All always made top quality with a focus on value for money, I tried many interior detail brands and always thought the leather and vinyl treatment was one of the best on the market.
Very good point
This is off subject but was hoping someone here would know answer. Have a 06 LBZ stock with 220k on it, bought new in 06. Think i have blown head gasket, getting air into cooling system. Is there any other possibility's besides head gasket. Oil is good, no white exhaust, Could it be EGR cooler or turbo. Any help would be nice
We have the same Truck
How come the logo are covered with tape?
It’s a sponsored video so I have to blur the emblems out
Hey what kind of rims are those looking sweet. I need a pair.
Hostiles
I have a 2010 silverado that is black. Absolutely a pain to get clean
The struggle is real
Great video Josh & Melanie (hope I spelled her name correctly).
Just a tip, always wash the tires & wheels first. That way nothing splashes back to the body. I agree with other posters, foam 1st then pressure washer rinse then foam & 2 bucket wash system.
So satisfying after all the work seeing the truck all clean & looking like the day you bought it!
wesome video guys. Feel free to do more paid sponsorship videos.
👍👍👍
I don’t have my own car but we got a black f 150 and black Toyota sienna and a black Cadillac ats

No I don’t think it needs a level
If that GMC Sierra is a Denali then how come it doesn't have the full center console
I took it out because I have a big family but when my oldest moves out of the house the center console is going back in
Did you Get new rims?

Ya mean I have to drive there so you can detail my truck?

@@TruckMaster I have to simply thank you for you're videos. I purchased a 03 Duramax that needed a head gasket and following you're vids, I was able to tear it down and replace and fix any problems .
You do good stuff but it would be great if you answered your emails 😅
Don't use the stuff on your dash. It'll Crack it by drying it out over time. All other products by them are OK
First!
dang LOL
First🎉
Just found out that armour all is full of PFAS chemicals.....disgusting
