*upa.... "sorry."
Keennean: " It's alright, ur so strong"
why was that so funny when he said that 😂
Man, I came here to learn an easy armbar finish, and instead I learnt an armbar escape lol
@@robertcrier3551 He could've already known the armbar finish and INSTEAD learnt an armbar escape . This would make his statement true. You gotta listen 👂
ramsey brought me here... learn a lot about armbar..
I'm sold. I will practice this next class. Thank you!
that curtain better not be hiding some dexter shit lol
Thank you so much for this advice. I have everytime this problem with finishing the armbar, because im not too strong and this move will help me so much to break their defend. 🙏🏽 Thank you 💙🤙🏽
Amazingly effective..Thank you so much for these vids..
It's funny how many of your videos I'm coming back to now after years and finally getting it and making stuff like this actually work for me. I'd so beet the snot out of myself from four years ago.
amazong stuff keenan, definitely gonna try this for the next few weeks
Excited to attend this weekend's seminar in SG.
thanks for this grip break I sometimes have trouble when I'm trying to break their grip this will help me alot
That's a very interesting concept. You essentially compromise the top and bottom of the spine and then go for the arm.
I had "El Camino" playing in the background and as soon as Keenan slid his partner's head over with his foot, i hear Jessie Pink man screaming at the beginning of the movie. lmao
Jimmy Pedro taught me this. It's used as a pin/osaekomi in judo, and you use the panic of your opponent being pinned to finish the arm bar.
straight judo uki gatame armbar and osaekomi combo
The Eckersley Gatame 😉
Great technique!
Thank you for the video Bro!!!
Can't wait till my next rolling session on Monday... ohhh... can't wait!
Man, almost a twister into arm bar. Nice!
My favourite way to get the controlled juji. That neck torque tip was new for me though, never thought about intentionally doing it. Awesome stuff. Any chance of new smash brothers gameplay commentary? :P
excellent technique.
Thanks for showing..
when people dont give up the arm i just try quickly for the bicep slicer. works on some people plus its pretty easy
That position is known as Uke Gatame in Judo, it's sooooo nasty, and that leg does torque the head too!!!
juje gatame
JudoMateo can you recommend a channel for judo vids as well
Uki Gatame
bjjbrawler1 Not ju-ji. 'Ju-ji' means 'cross-shaped' but for this technique you don't lie back to make the typical cross configuration. I think 'uki' here means 'floating'. ua-cam.com/video/FYRsV0-ceyw/v-deo.html

This is channel from Koji Komuro, The Kosen Judo Practitioner, he defeat many BJJ Blackbelts. He also join BJJ under Yuki Nakai.
And this just became my go to
Thanks!
This is seen in Judo quite often, great technique.
Nice one!
i used to do that. i'll go back to it.
this reminds me of s-mount but this still effective big bro
This technique is hats
It's much easier and more fluid to grab the tricep that the arm to be barred is bracing on, and the wrist of the arm to be barred. All you need to do at that point is push them together and flex your hips before leaning backwards.
Awsome!
Thanks🖐🏽👊🏽
Does this work with no gi throwing your arm around to grab the belt? I feel it would make it hard to keep control with out the belt helping
The the moment I reach over, before foot movement, keep loosing control when oponenet straightens body away from control, becomes a leg fight to keep them tight? I may be missing something?
Man that is some dirty stuff!!! I’ve been trying to figure out a way to deal with people escaping the armbar with their legs. I’m training this tonight
Nice!!!!!
keenan on EBI!!!
I want a supematch against Keenan! #LetsDoIt #StarVsCornelius
When they oompa do they also loompa? Diggity do?
Roll into the armbar, drive in your elbow. Works everytime.
This is an awesome concept! It's kinda like going from armbar position to the S-mount position to readjust.
How do you stop him from turning into you at 2:38 when you move your right leg off his face? His hips and lower body are already turned towards you so wouldn't his upper body naturally follow?
Wesley Chan probably the tight grip of his elbow
When you take the foot off to come up, you engage your hips into the back of their tricep/shoulder. It's basically impossible for them to turn into you unless you're being sloppy and leaving tons of space.
Beautiful. "That's a mean term" *Smiles* We know what we mean lol
Mmm, mean looking. Can't wait to try it out
muito bom oss
This is an old Judo move known as the eckersly hold.
I think the hard part is getting someone that deep into an armbar that you can even apply this technique. I rarely see matches with two good black belts being able to arm bar each other.
Oh who would think it would be hard for two people who are experts and not getting armbared to armbar each other...
This totally works. The patient pressure of death.
Keen = Genius BJJ IQ
will this work in Nogi?
the best worm guard \o/
ramsey dewey sent me here.
Same
Finishing on like
dont forget to check the oil
nice tight control
when will we see you competing again bro??
That looks like something JD Penn would do.
Switching to a triangle works better imo
So its an S-mount to armbar?
alright man i'm signing up- this shit is money
agharta42 make sure to check your spam folder for your login info if you don't see it right away
NIce
I've been trying this and people have been tapping from the diaphragm pressure.
Кинан красава
Wow
This is a basic technique used in Judo, because if you fail the juji gatame you get a pin instead.
I use this all the time. When I get to the armbar that is. Which is never. lol
I love the way the dude on bottom looks the whole time hes explaining twerking his neck.

lucky blue belt ! gets to train with a legend.
I learned that from Sambo.
Oomhpa?
You're adding to the karma sutra and you don't even know it.
Nice position
👍
oompah?
Hey keenan , am a noob and i get thirsty alot in the gym , should i buy stuff to mix with my water?
Theodoros Stylianou no just drink more water.
Ok thanks ! :D
4:52
What if he shifts his left foot to better positioning as your getting on top and before you can torque his neck he "oompa"s" and rolls you over all the way
would the planted arm save you from that?
The tight knees stop him being able to rotate his upper body. You can easily push his back flat onto the mat again if you're staying tight.
Tony Dondada do you mean guy on bottom sends the attacker belly down? That'd be real bad for the person getting arm barred
vcb
does this work for no gi as well?
yes
:)
did some of Japanese jujitsu master come out of a cave to reveal this secret ancient unknown technique to you?
He said he learned it in 2011 at BJ Penn's
ekklesly hold.
Uki Gatame
I feel like Draculino's "swallowing the arm" is still the easiest and best way to finish. Unless there's a reason why you don't use it and are trying to hide the reason from us 🤔🤔🤔
Filming in the basement or what, Keenan?
my living room. we put out mats all the time
if you want to finish the armbar easy, assuming you have the right position just fall with all your weight against his shoulder he can't support your body with a shoulder..that's proper technique.i see a neck crank there not an easy finish.nice move though...
😍😍😍👍👍👍😍😍👍💪🏻
I trained 15 years with Antonio Carvalho and he taught this same armbar.
Do you really think someone will let you do that in a fight??? Mucha cosa
They don't have much choice while they are pinned to the ground and their limbs tied up.
Yeah the original UFCs showed everyone that BJJ doesnt work..... 🙄
No one uses it my ass lol
Jesus made
it's upa
not umpa
caraio Cornelius kkkk
Ronda Rousey does it this way. I suspect that's where BJ Penn got it from.
You mean where ronda got it from.
She definitely didn't invent it although she was the one that popularized it in recent times. There's a video of her from a few years back doing it to Luke Rockhold.
Yeah BJ Penn learned something from Rousey.... Probably that head movement he showed in his last fight. That's about all he could learn from her..how to get socked in the teeth over and over
catoomch Housey got KOd 2x
Bj penn learned it from rousey? Wait. Who's older? Ronda or bj? Lol.
He looks like he was smiling while you were grabbing his butt! : ) lolz...
cacc
Yeah but he can bite your leg. It wouldnt work in a street fight. Any way it took me 3 years to get my brown belt in jj so I know - exactly how to finish the armbar. Oss
The best move you can do in BJJ is to move to a Judo school LOL.
or are they really already in one? Like if i started a "brazillian" cooking school, featuring dishes like sushi, katsu don, udon, tempura , etc? Dont get me wrong this guy could probably kick my ass, he has a LOT of skill, and im over the hill with injuries, and even in my prime i was never this good, but I still dont see how "BJJ" managed to pull off the greatest re-branding in history
Sign up to my brazillian cooking school anybody? I just invented it....its a new style with new techniques...
Patrick Bateman Exactly, Except that it's not exactly a rip off of Judo because it's really an interpretation of Judo by someone who wasn't qualified to teach it (circus performers). So it's like Brazilian Sushi class but we will be cooking the fish and wrapping it in mashed potato and rolling it in a leaf, because then it will look like that thing that we saw the Japanese guy do.
Paraic McDonagh Lol. What a joke.
Kevin B No it wasn't. Judo is a child of Jujitsu. 'Juijutsu' is something invented to look like Judo and to sound like Jujitsu but notice it's spelled incorrectly. The Gracie's aren't honest people, which is why it's such a headache to appreciate. But as a rule of thumb. Japanese - credible. Brazilian - Not credible.
I see where you are coming from but yes and no, if you aren't striking , and are practicing a grappling sport, its not jujitsu its judo.
Twerk his neck?
1st!
I love all of the armchair quarterbacks second guessing you and the tech like they even fucking train 2% of what you train. God damn, I'm like 3 times a week if I'm lucky. Who the fuck am I to question someone who fucking lives on the mat 100%? The fucking arrogance...
