In this video I’m continuing sharing my daily live in Novosibirsk, Russia. 🇷🇺 As an introvert and a single mom of 2 sons on my journey of healing from anxiety. Im sharing my slow daily routine. Cooking, grocery shopping etc.
In this episode me and my mom went to a hardware store to pick the wall papers for the new apartment. Then we went autumn leaves picking for my son’s school project. I also was doing groceries and cooking chicken stomachs 😃

@@miszced Patreon is officially banned here in Russia. Also, creators need to have PayPal to withdraw money from Patreon, but PayPal left Russia. So, it's a problem, you see. I prefer Boosty, for example.

The doors shown, are really secure looking, and so thick- way better than the doors used here in the U.K. Ours, are really thin in comparison.

I’m super impressed by the doors! They look like vault doors. Our front doors here in the US are not that thick at all!
She did a video a couple of videos ago explaining the reason for the very thick door. It's to keep the noises from in the hallway from getting inside your apartment. If only US could follow suit. Some people don't always know how to live among each other.

Chicken stomachs... now I understand... those are chicken gizzards lol. We eat those all the time.... they're very inexpensive but they're good for you. We had a very good size family growing up so making chicken gizzards stew was common. We used what's called sofrito which is a combination of onions, garlic, cilantro, bell peppers, tomatoes, seasonings of salt and pepper, also any herbs and any other spices. The chicken gizzards after their inspected and washed thoroughly and if there's a yellow like skin that's kind of rough attached to it.. you just simply peel it off. Wash it good and then we cut it into very small bite-size pieces and we add this to the sofrito and we add chicken broth to create a stew. We also... while this is cooking we peel and cut potatoes into good sized pieces like bite-size and that is added...it thickens up and it is absolutely delicious. In the past we would eat that over white rice. Some people put their nose up when it comes to gizzards or chicken stomachs as you call them which is very cute. But it was very tasty and stretched especially for a good size family. I love your videos thank you so much for sharing your life with us big hugs from Texas...
Also another way to cook them is to boil the gizzards in salty water a little salty water until they are butter soft and this may take a long time to soften and if you fry them in good butter afterwards I think they would taste better when they are extremely soft do remember to remove the yellow repeat that you see sometimes in the middle of the gizzards
In Hungary we eat gizzards, to. Hungarian style stew.

I live in Sweden and we all in the northern hemisphere are heading towards that cold and dark season when we spend so much time inside our homes. We want it to look extra cozy.

Could you please tell us, why you eat only eggs and cold bacon? Never saw such a diet before, is it due to food intolerances? Love your videos, cant wait to see your new flat painted and furnished.
Apparently Nastya follows a protein diet, perhaps the Dukan diet? Why, I don't understand. She probably wants to lose weight.
It's a sad news about the walls because it's double the expenses for wallpaper + paint but oh well. All renovations have surprises here and there. 🧚♀️

I actually brought it with me to Russia from a Mexican market in Prague 😅
Buy the white wall paper and later paint them what color you want. That way your sons will be able to pick the paint color they want for their bedroom.
Can you get the panel for the side of the tub? In Canada, you buy a tub like that and then choose a panel on the side so it looks built-in.

I’ve been thinking about your new space and the bunk bed. Not sure of your measurements but if you put the beds in the back smaller area, then add a thicker curtain, You can create a private space plus you would be able to walkthrough to your spot without visual distraction.

Love the doors in Russia, give a vault like feeling of security, even steel doors are only about 1/4 the thickness and only as strong as the framing which is usually wood and fairly easily broken down. I enjoyed walking around the hardware stores in Russia, very interesting to see the different standards and material options, plumbing fixtures are engineered to be simple to install/replace unlike here which can be a nightmare project including tearing out parts of the wall etc. Best wishes for a happy home in your new apartment, fingers crossed about the problems you mentioned in one video.

Hello, why not put a formwork in front of the bathtub, a board, to finish and avoid painting the bathtub?
Here we would call it a bath panel.
I just really want to try to maintain the retro style, and the bath panel in my opinion doesn’t agree with it 😅

I love chicken gizzards - stomach, we make it as a stew with onion, garlic, paprika. Cook it on simmer for 2.5 hours, very delicious with home made pasta😋

here in canada, we call chciken stomachs "gizzards". they are delicious. not so much anymore, but in the 70's and beyond, if you bought a chicken or turkey to roast, they would include the heart, the liver, and the gizzard, which my mom would throw in to the cavity, along with stuffing, before baking. my 2 sister and i would share the heart and the gizzard. great memories.
Chicken stomach is what we call gizzard. I ate these as a child. My father was Polish.

As soon as I saw the chicken stomachs I knew what you meant. Here in the US (upstate NY) we call them Chicken Gizzards. And they are delicious! Especially Turkey Gizzards 😁

I love that your littles are able to wear winter clothing to school but change into shorts and a t-shirt once there for comfort. That’s genius, I bet they are much more comfortable during their time at school. I live in a part of the US that has cold winters and this would be a game changer for our kids.

In Ireland we call chicken stomachs GIZZARDS. We always eat them wen I was a child. Can’t find them easily in the shops now%
I love watching your videos! My parents were European so many of the foods you eat are similar. I love chicken gizzards(stomachs) and even more chicken hearts . I fry them up with onions and they are delicious and full of iron! Black olives I love also! I will try them with lemon juice and a bit of spice !

I love chicken gizzards...fried with a light batter and some seasonings..my late husband and I ate these often as a snack; especially with some cold champagne!!! Enjoy!!!
I like the second door that you choose because of the texture on the outside and has a bit of a sparkle on it and the door colour on the inside is beautiful. That inside could even be on the outside for a lot of homes here in Canada. 💕💕💕🥰

I love chicken gizzards. We cook it with onions garlic ginger and curry powder. We also put chilli powder. It’s spicy and delicious for my taste.

Metal doors must be installed with metal frames, not the wood framework that may be present. Learned this the hard way. Love your videos.
Try purchase bunk beds that can also be used separate , you can move them around . If you place the beds middle room left side wall headboard against this wall . Block the length of bed by partition/or double wardrobe access from the living room side . Do not partition to ceiling . Privacy for boys light to the living/hall area a long narrow desk @ a shelf really with a support end “running along the right wall . Use under bed for storage. You can make easy change with this space while you live there. This space can be interchangeable . Your making great progress .😊👍

That was a very relaxing video, although you were very busy doing all sorts of things. One thing is for sure, your vitamin D levels will not need supplementing. The door looked like a bank vault door. Although I'm sure it would be a great barrier to any fire which is probably why it seems elaborate. The non flamingo flamingo is very artistic. I am plodding on with my redecorating and living in midst of the chaos. Tomorrow I will declare that it is half finished with just carpets to be fitted. All the best with the paper hanging. I think you do it differently to us and don't use wallpaper paste so I will see how it's done in Siberia.
You look so healthy and are very trim too, the carnivore diet is a great way of eating. Many Americans follow a carnivore (or very low carb) diet because it helps them reverse diabetes and maintain a normal weight. Also you walk a lot which is wonderful exercise! We will only install one thick door, double doors are not really used anymore 🙂

I remember my mother getting chicken "gizzards' as she called them for free from the butcher when I was a boy. Now the grocery store sells them and they are not particularly cheap either. I always refused to try them then and I must admit that they don't seem overly appealing many decades later! 🙂 I hope your renovations are going well. Moving is always stressful.

I love wallpaper because it's not so common here in the US. I'd totally do my whole room the space constellation wallpaper lol But that wallpaper with the leaves and berries would be beautiful in a kitchen!
Also, I freaking love tajin. It's so good on everything - there's these crunchy tajin peanut snacks the sell in the stores here that I am addicted to, but my niece loves the tajin covered watermelon gummy candies best lol
Chicken Gizzards are delicious. You have to remove the bile skin which is green or yellow. A good way to remove it is soak it in water and vinegar to remove impurities. Remove the touch green and yellow skin. I am from NYC.
