    I give you props bro, I’m in New York as well and my splitter is already scuffed due to these terrible roads lol. If I lowered mine I’d probably rip it off on the road lmao. Looks good time for some photo shoots lol

    When I purchase gt350 19s brand new, it already had ford performance lowering springs on it , the car sitting in the show room they wanted to give it a different look, so recently I went with a after markets wheel and tires set up, 6gr R-spec, 7 spoke wheels, 305,30,19 on front, 325,30,19 rears, wheels 11in, front and 11-1/2 rears , fitment and stance is perfect 🥰

      Very interested if those 325--30--19 tires rub the top of the fender at all. In all the videos I've seen , those rear tires poke out past the top of the fender at least one quarter inch. Any issues with that.?? The factory puts 315--30--19 on the GT 350R. , but I sure do like those 325s. Any info on my question would be greatly appreciated.

      RJ, Project 6 as a wheel and tire package , it’s call R-specs setup it’s only for gt350/r 19/305/30 fr / 19/325/30 rear and whatever type of wheels you want to go with your package 11in fr /11 1/2 rear there’s no rubbing issues at all 2yrs on my car plus ford performance lowering springs it totally changes the look’s of the car I’m in love with it 😅 trust me if there was a problem with rubbing I’ll be looking for my 3000 + back 😂😂

      @RJ Car Review Yoy say I would be better off putting 315-30-19 at the rear. Is that on the 11 inch stock wheels or aftermarket 11 1/2 inch wheels?? I'm asking because that size would lower the rear end of the car. The 325s would sit almost as tall as the 305--35--19. OE tires. I don't track my car. The front is already too low on my base GT 350. Don't want to lower the back of the car as well. I know the GT 350 R sits even lower. What I REALLY want to do is put the 305--35--19 tires up front to pick up the front end a little. I'm tired of the front end SCRAPING all the time. The 325s at the rear would not let the rear end drop too much. I know you put 325s at the rear of your car a while back on the stock wheels. I would dearly love to know if there were any issues or rubbing with those monster tires. Like I said , 305s or 315s would lower the rear end too much I think.

    I have an L67 Buick Regal. I have KYB AGX struts with Voegtlin springs. A lot of the W-body guys had an issue with the Eibach rear springs sagging. Not one or two guys, but many. Voegtlins? 0 issues & have been on for years

    I’m torn between the FP springs and the Steeda dual rate springs myself. Very tough decision because I feel that the Steeda springs will improve the handling characteristics of the car more than the FP springs will, but I only plan on tracking the car 3 times a year so I don’t want to sacrifice too much of the ride quality.

    • @jl52l46
      @jl52l46 3 роки тому +1

      Steeda has/had two flavors of dual rate springs and the track oriented set has a .500 vs .757 on the progressive FRPP drop wise. Unfortunately, can't compare spring rates as I don't believe Steeda has ever shared them.. FRPP was tested by a third party and found to have reduced rear spring rates over stock. Personally, drove vehicles with both and the FRPP with stock rear sway complimented my style better. Felt better, more grip.. and ran faster.

    • @fedsn8k
      @fedsn8k 3 роки тому

      @@jl52l46 Actually the FP springs are progressive not dual rate. Steeda’s dual rate springs are, in a sense, 2 linear sprints in one. So the front of the dual rate springs are around 200-500 spring rate in the front, and 800-1300 rate in the rear.

    • @jl52l46
      @jl52l46 3 роки тому +1

      @@fedsn8k Yep, just checked my notes and updated first post. Considering progressive springs are commonly preferred when focused on street with limited track use it makes sense. Only can assume rates on Steeda, there are no numbers out there. Your estimates are broad and mimic the common/known aftermarket rates. That being said.. the aftermarket added spring rate in the rear of the car, FRPP went the other way.. I for one prefer the grip.

    • @fedsn8k
      @fedsn8k 3 роки тому +1

      @@jl52l46 I’ll have to go back and watch the video, but I’m 99% sure the rates were mentioned in the video Steeda put out reviewing their dual rate spring.

    • @jl52l46
      @jl52l46 3 роки тому +1

      @@fedsn8k Yep, New video from a couple of months ago! So the dual rate 555-8243 is 195/300 front and 800/1300 rear. I'm glad they finally put them out somewhere, of course still missing from their site.. These numbers directly correlate with my notes! I actually didn't feel much of a difference on the street other then what I believed was a mildly softer rear rate during spirited driving (I prefer the softness of the FRPP and in this case Steeda as well over the linear rate springs for around town), onramps and off. When pushed, I felt the stiffness and the car struggling for grip in comparison the other setups.. Both vehicles I drove on and off track. Fun fact, I actually frequent the same track Steeda uses in most of their videos. Having watched the updated video, all the characteristics they mention about dual rate as selling points.. same but limited in comparison to the characteristics of progressive springs. My understanding (not a knock on Steeda) dual rate springs are less expensive to manufacturer.. So if they feel it gets the job done, I guess it makes sense.
      Getting back to handling.. It's interesting the difference in direction from OE/FRPP to the aftermarket companies. I feel like whatever Ford had in mind for the vehicles is continued in the choices of the FRPP components.

    On the same boat as you bro the Eibach is just too bumpy I’m from Jersey our roads are similar to NY, I’m probably changing to BMR springs they are around the same spring rate as the 350R

    Hey Brother I have the Eibach pro kit and haven't installed it yet, was waiting to get shocks. After your video you confirmed some thoughts I had about ride quality. Considering going with the Ford Performance springs. I was wondering if you are running stock shocks, if not , what shocks are you running or would you reccomend. Thanks and as always great video!

      I'm on the stock magneride shocks. The eibach gives the car a nice stance but the ride was too bumpy after a while. I’ve gotten used to the look of the FP it’s not bad after all.

    Linear(BMR) vs Progressive or Dual Rate Springs(FP)... The BMRs will perform better on the track, FP will get you lower ascetically but you feel it on rough roads and the track.

    • @bannerrj41
      @bannerrj41  3 роки тому

      Bmr are great for the track but they’re too stiff for everyday driving. I had eibach and I believe they were progressive…they were great in the corners but the ride was a little bumpy. FP are great all around springs but I wish it would lower the car a little bit more..that’s just my taste
