Beware of Sculptra! In 2019 I went to a dermatologist to fix the acne scars on my face. I was told my face was too hollow and needed Sculptra to add more volume. I was told it was safe and there was nothing to worry about. After the procedure, I developed some large cystic lumps on my face. It took four and a half years to go away and left some scars after it dissolved. It was a nightmare! Never again.
So sorry that was your experience! Unfortunately, there are providers who don't know how to properly mix or inject Sculptra. This treatment requires an expert to perform, and patients must follow after-care protocol.
actually I do want to see the injection process as its very important to me to know what I should expect. if you do not want to see this process, simply google before and after of Sculptra and don't click on videos to then leave comments like!!!!!
I like how you injected the piriform fossa and near the corner of the mouth to erase her smile lines, I just wish that we could see the results. My doctor believes it's better to not get too close to the mouth and instead inject the cheeks to lift the area, but I am not convinced. What's your rationale behind injecting these areas for smile lines?
All of our injectors do the same technique for injecting so when you look at our before and after Sculptra pictures, you can assume that area was injected. We do not inject “too close” to the mouth and I agree lifting the cheeks helps to lift the nasolabial folds best. We inject the lower cheeks to provide collagen formation here which improves skin health overall and consequently the smile lines without directly injecting into them. Sculptra is simply amazing and provides natural looking results.
They explain this on training. No one should be doing this unless trained, even if filler qualified. It hasn’t be injected differently for different areas and different depths, very finely placed and a lot more else you will get nodules.
There can be soreness post treatment. If the treatment is not properly performed, there can be granulomas. Seek an experienced injector if you opt for Sculptra.
shouldn't there be more ice on the face all over before injecting and right after. sould be like covering the whole face for a while before and after...
going to get mine in a week as noticed a big volume drop over the last two years and mainly on my cheeks. i saw you used 2 vials. i'm trying to gauge how much i might need. how many cc did you get from each vial please?
@@ibanez856 i ended up getting 2 vials, 2 months apart. it's true that the water retention right after is great, but the actual results i got a few months after, for the money (700 dollars a vial) wasn't that good for me. might go for a third vial again in the future as i noticed a slight improvement but nothing impressive. I know you need to do many vials to get a good result but if after 2 i can barely notice it then seems like i will need way more than the average person and not willing to spend 1000s just for an extremely small improvement in my cheeks.
@@denacoI have tried a few PLLA brands on myself and clients, best was Lanluma by far!!! Be mindful and wait a good three months before having another treatment as it’s very effective and you don’t want to look over filled in certain areas treated.

Seriously!?!? Why the hell is that girl having sculptra done , what is the point? She looks like she’s in her late 20s, maybe. What is wrong with people today. I wish you guys would start using patients in your UA-cam videos who actually need these treatments done not overly vain 20 somethings.
She's definitely not in her 20s but because she is proactive about her skin care she looks like she is. We have videos of patients of all ages. It really depends on who is willing to share their experience.
I used sculptra for the saggy skin in my neck. I got liposuction in the past in this area. Awesome results after 3 inyections.
Sculptra is so amazing! Glad to hear you love your results!
Did it reduce the loose neck skin? I have the same issue of saggy skin post fat loss from rf microneedling
Hi did I miss it, are there before and after photos? No way to tell if this is a good job, technique, or product without seeing the result.
Very strange technique- have never seen sculptra being injected like that, especially into the lower face.

Inexperienced injector most likely?
It should be with Canula injection and it’s only around check and not allowed around mouth or under eyes at all
We don’t want to see the injection process.. we wanted to see the results :(

IKR!
I’m here for the process so nope
Why no aspiration?
She aspirated. She's an experienced injector it can be done with one hand quickly unnoticed to the inexperienced eye
wish we could see the actual result :) Loved the rest of it tho
Wonderful video! Would you please add before and after pictures?
We need to get her final Before and After, but here's the BnA a few weeks after that treatment. instagram.com/p/CWEfMmiBAny/
hello dr. a question, how much is applied per point and in which layer of the skin should it go?
Approximately 1cc per section

Since when we can inject sculptra around the mouth ?
Why isn't she aspirating before injecting at all??
Hi, what do you think about using Sculpture with Microneedling device? How deep the needle should be?
@@chocolat654 Hi thanks for explaining🙌🌺
Did you diluted Sculptra? Or just used vortex mixer?
8cc sterile water, 1 cc lido without epi and then vortex agitate it.
Is this cannula ? Needle ?
Needle.
like I do not see why she's having sculptura since she looks perfect to me?
Maintain and prevent its better to treat concerns before they get harder and more expensive to treat
This was her third Sculptra session.. if you listened to the video
Did you have lidocaine on the face first?
Absolutely. We make the patient as comfortable as possible!
Hi, there's a minor risk at vascular occlusion with Sculptra in comparison with hyaluronic acid? 🤔
i dont think so....
I actually got a pamphlet today read the small print and heirloom absolutely is
I want see that on mature women
Ideally you do it before
What size canula & dilution amounts did you use?
I want as well this answer. What kind of cannula is?

Near Seattle!
Oh my god I could not handle how dramatic this girl was.
Same
Is that any side effect?
There can be soreness post treatment. If the treatment is not properly performed, there can be granulomas. Seek an experienced injector if you opt for Sculptra.
My main concern is nodules forming it has to not be placed in the skin correct?
It has to be placed almost to the bone. The new dilution protocols have made a big difference.
@@RejuvenationMD ok i will show my injector this im praying they understand the new protocols
Can sculptra be injected into chin dimple?
Yes, though you'll have a full vial of it and will want the rest of it placed in areas of the face you may want more lift or volume.
Off-topic, but this patient’s lips are over-filled and have the “duck lip” look in profile. I hope the practitioner has talked to her about this.

I love this Lady’s sounds to comfort the patient. Hehe, so cute and helpful❤
Love this
How many batches of Sculptra was that?
2!
No cannula, no aspiration, odd technique 😬
We follow protocol.
1000% , protocol totally different
@@giziadubai No it’s not. Lol I’m an injector.
@@bnb0510 I just done second injection but my doctor don’t put on the chin :)

She is numbed with lidocaine and there is lidocaine in the Sculptra solution.
I've never used ice. It's not necessary at all.
How much would that cost?
Almost 3000 roughly . Most anywhere charges right around that
Don’t you have to massage it in?
Yes. We'll massage in office, but the after care assigned is massage 5x a day, 5 minutes a time for 5 days.
Impressive

😮 painful
We numb the patient. They feel pressure, but no pain.

What a big baby! 🤣

Not true. It’s incredibly painful even with the lidocaine, and it can make you feel like you’re going to faint.
This lady needed absolutely nothing doing. I would have Tufnell get away and told her how gorgeous she looked.
I would like to see sculptra results on a woman 50-72……..tired of gorgeous 18 25 yr olds as your representation….not realistic….
She's 50...
She was 47
Those lips are overdone
