I really don't understand some of these negative comments. I, for one, appreciate all of this and it is so informative to help combat aging. If you are not interested, that's fine, but I don't understand the point of trying to bash others for their choices. Move on and stop yourself from making comments if something like this is not for you. Thank you, Dominique, for sharing this wealth of knowledge. Forever a fan!
I don't get it either, especially for someone as nice and accepting as Dominique. However, no one needs your lecture either. We are still free to speak our minds in this country(for now). We don't have to like it or even read it.
@@4lb280 I agree with you, however it appears most all of the comments that would be perceived as negative, ie, of different opinion, have been removed. 👀
@@rjnsn5121 I might say that after your body replenishes it’s own collagen you won’t see a difference in years. I think the dr mentioned benefits for over 5 years.
I applaud Dominique for sharing her journey with us and find it so refreshing to have a beautiful, smart and informed woman show us the options that are available. The pressure for women to remain employable and look youthful is enormous, particularly in the media or film. Dominique still very much looks like Dominique because she chooses reputable professionals and takes care of herself. Ladies - let's continue to lift each other up and not buy into the multitude of myths or beliefs that only serve to divide and unsettle us. I am 57 and have been using injectables for over 10 years now. I've never smoked, rarely drink and after many years, am at a healthy weight. I choose to colour my hair and get my nails done. I wear makeup, earrings and perfume because I like how these things make me feel.
I was reading recently that Sculptra is not good for under eyes, but it looks like she just put one shot above the cheek and that’s all.. anyway the outcome was fantastic❤
Omg I didn't even know this was an option! Thank you for showing this. I'm about to be 45 and have been doing EXTENSIVE research on fillers, threads, etc. but could never get myself to get it done because I was afraid of complications, how I would look afterwards and so on. I love that this is more natural and the results are long lasting!! Thank you for this!!
Robin , you are almost 10 years younger than me. But last year I had a threadlift in Australia where I live. However, for the cost , pain, severe bruising I literally saw NO results. Most Drs don’t advise thread lifts and I didn’t do my due diligence. I sincerely advise that you disregard this procedure. It simply is not worth the pain, cost that it involves. If you want to see any photos that I have before and after I would be happy to share with you. Lorraine Perth WA
Hi from Annie gosh you are brave have never heard of this type with the milk type product. You probably don't really need all this stuff you are pretty without it just like your mum.
I've had 4 sessions of sculptra done - over the course of 6 months.... 1 vial a series of weeks apart in my upper cheeks / cheeks and lower smile lines around my mouth.... the difference is absolutely astonishing... it's even helping smooth out my under eyes without anything else.
I love sculptra! I just turned 40, and I started having this treatment about 10 months ago. I have had 3 treatments. I am very athletic and have always had a square jaw, slim face. Over time I started looking extremely tired and hollow around the eyes and temples. Not anymore!!!! It’s truly amazing. It is a hurry up and wait treatment. Be patient, it does take time. But with diet and correct supplements, there will be no stopping you!!!
@@estefaniaboujon6830 Everyones placement is a bit different. However the same zones are injected, Example your dr may start in a different area, adding more or less depending on your personal goal. My doctor started with my temples, and under eyes, and cheeks, then lastly mid face, I end up needing more in my mid and mouth area.
I applaud any woman who fixes something about herself that she’s not happy with. Whether it’s dieting and exercising to get a better body, getting Botox to relax frown lines, or getting a full facelift if you want, it’s really no one else’s business! I realize that Dominque puts these procedures out there because she is an influencer, but quit criticizing her choices!
Yup. We have one life! Make ourselves and our fellow man feel good. Especially in these very sad, difficult days for so many. Must pray for the sour grape folks, they need a bit of joy in their lives. Thank you for your information, your kindness..I hope you make lots of money from this too!!you deserve it. This takes work!💖🙏
This was incredibly helpful. The fact that pricing is addressed as well is so appreciated. Obviously, different parts of the country will price procedures differently but using this info as a guide is huge. Thank you Dominique!!!
Glad I found this video, going to get some Sculptra done Friday. Been wanting to get it done but was scared. This video put my mind at ease. Beautiful results, you look fantastic! :)
Thank you for sharing the video. Not understanding the negative comments. I’ve watched your channel a long time and you have never only focused on the outer person. You talk about your faith and talk about finding peace and being grounded person. It was an Informative video and I appreciated it.
I wish every dermatologist was like Dr. Nigros. She is so upbeat yet professional and makes one feel very comfortable. I was not going to watch becuase of the needles but you showed how easy this procedure is. You look amazing!
Thank you and the physician for doing this ! At your age I still felt great about my face but now in my mid sixties I don’t feel good about what I see despite healthy practices that have always been my thing . It’s certainly a choice and nobody should criticize anyone for their choices as long as they are not negatively affecting anyone else . Most of us spend our life focusing our energies, efforts and love on our families and others so there is no harm just doing something like this for ourself. Again thank you Dominique and your very informative doctor ! 👏👏👏💐
You are so very right & this is true. Self care 😘 is very important & no one's concern but our own. Are these complaints going over to the over sized weight lifter men's channels or is that supposed to be different. Women's looks affect our jobs & our own motivation. We deserve self care & up lift our beauty ,skin and what ever we wish & thank GOD ❣️😇🙏 FOR THE THE BLESSINGS OF SELF CARE & IMPROVE OUR BODIES FROM AGING & ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH ISSUES. LOOK GREAT & DONT LOOK BACK 💋😘
Why does the doctor use completely different lighting for the before and after photos? The before photos have light from above that cast shadows on the face. The after photos have light shining on the face which takes away shadows.
I noticed that, too, not only on Dominique's face, but the other patient she showed. Of course, it makes the face look so much better in the soft lighting of the "after" photos! It would show any changes much more realistically if the SAME lighting was used for both.
Thank you for this video Dominique! It’s incredibly helpful to have information on minimally invasive cosmetic procedures and their price points. It allows those of us seeking to “tweak” our appearance, to weigh our options for a more natural look. By the way, you look amazing!😊
I am trying to age "gracefully" and accept the inevitable changes in my face, but I appreciate knowing about these options if I get to the point, as I get older, where I want to try a cosmetic procedure that will make me feel better about how I look. This Sculptra seems like a really good option for me since I don't like the idea of fillers. Thank-you, Dominique!
So happy you shared this! What a great wealth of info for those of us looking to regain some of the loss of firmness who are still a little nervous about “fillers”. Also, I love how your doctor always takes time to thoroughly explain everything. Awesome video!!!
Thank you for this in-depth class on Sculptra! I had no idea what to expect. I wish I knew of a Dr. like yours in my area. I can see why you feel comfortable with her. Yes - please bring us with you if you treat your neck or hands!
I have had one of these treatments and am having another soon. I have had a very traumatic year and it showed in my body and especially my face this was something I found that worked for me. Thank you for this video Dominique.
@@annemiekvandorp4457 Sorry that you found her video contradicting, however I enjoyed it. As a woman of sixty and battling metastatic cancer for over seven years with all the surgeries, skin scars etc., I appreciate a dermatologist that informs a patient. I haven’t always had that. I think Dominique makes videos that get you to thinking whether you agree or not. We each take away something different, and hopefully helpful.
@@miaash3870 Yes Mia, I believe it will help lots of women who watch. Until this video I had never heard of this product. Although it isn’t for me, I’m glad that it could help someone out there.
I can't express how much I just love Dr. Nigro. She has a profound way of educating and instructing. She is just the best. Sculptra is awesome, perhaps it will be in my future! Thanks Dominique. P.S. I noticed your great looks several weeks ago, and I said to myself, "I don't know what she's done, but I like it!"
I tried sculptra several years ago in my cheeks BUT developed a hard nodule the size of a pea below one check that sat there for about year. No more sculptra for me.
Were you instructed to massage the area yourself and if so could it be that you didn't massage it sufficiently? The doctor mentioned that that could happen without proper massaging which I think is why she included an instruction on how to properly do it.
I am glad you recovered. People are never told how dangerous it is to inject literally anything in the body.... even if there is a small risk, who wants to be a statistic?
I tried Sculptra too four years ago and I also developed a hard nodule the size of a pea below one cheek even thou I massaged. Yes I was told about massaging after treatment… but unfortunately it happened. Thankfully it didn’t last that long… like three months. Overall the results were good….. but I was soooo scared bc of the lump that I decided no more sculptra for me! Thanks for the video, very informative!
Thank you for this video, Dominique! I have recently been offered the same treatment and was not sure about the results. I will highly appreciate it if you continue sharing with us your results in a couple of months, and any other treatments for girls over 50. You are amazing! xxx
WOW...this is fascinating! I did not know about this. I would love to try this first for a refresh/pick me up after 65 years of a challenging life. Thank you for sharing this and showing your experience in real time. That helps understand the process. It's like hanging out with an honest best friend. What a gem you are. Thank you so much.
This was a great, informative video and the results are fantastic! For anyone who doesn't want treatments done- that is a blessing. You are happy with how you look and how you are aging. You will save a lot of money. For me, my face is falling in such a way that it looks like I am frowning, angry and have a dour face. It doesn't reflect how I feel and it doesn't feel good. It's not about chasing perfection but about looking in the mirror and feeling at peace or even delighted with your appearance. If you are already satisfied, then that is wonderful!
Love, love, love, your dermatologist! Your results are incredible, Dominique! I’ve learned so much-so educational! The fee is very reasonable and I would only consider this procedure if I could be assured of a dermatologist with the same expertise and consistent patient results as your’s! Thank you for sharing! Love your great relationship!
I live my sculptra! In fact had some today. U had not had since Covid so over two years . To me it is a painless facelift. I love it. I must say I learned much more from watching your video with your previous doctor . Thank you very much!
I can't seem to find when this video was uploaded, curious if the results keep getting better after 3 months or that is the peak? I must say, what an AMAZING personality Dr. Marjory has! Wonderful energy and I loved her descriptions of the different products. Dominique, you look fantastic!! Thank you for sharing this and being so transparent. I found you while searching for "how to style a Pixie cut" and have really enjoyed your hair videos. This video popped up while I was looking at something else and I'm so glad I watched it! Sculptra is definitely something I am intrigued with. Dominque, you are truly a blessing and a GEM!!
Thank you for a very informative video, Dominique! So many of us as we get older are interested in hearing about what options are available to us as our skin changes. This video is a great resource as it walks us through the whole procedure, with follow-ups, and I also appreciate that this board-certified physician tells us the cost.
Thanks for the information, very instructive. I must say, I couldn't see your need for this treatment, but maybe the idea is to get this done before things get bad.
I am not anti procedures...I've had botox myself in the past.....and compared to fillers which I dislike, this sounds a good option, but eventually we all have to accept aging...I honestly think that women 'look' like they've had work done after a while and it isn't that flattering. I think the health and vitality in the skin and clear eyes, is important but wrinkles we are all going to get them and who wants a line free face if we are lucky enough like my mother to get to 94 and who looks great, has a few lines ,but had nothing done ever, So I suppose I am saying, it is important we become less self obsessed as we age, for some it is a relief to lose their youthful beauty and concentrate on so many other important things. I mean you can't treat your whole body so you may have a smoother face but your elbows, knees and skin all over will age....so we will start to look just oddly crazy!! That being said I lecture on anti-aging and have courses in my Academy...so I am all about the hormetic effect and things you can do to look as good as we can for as long as possible.
I agree. At a certain point women and men begin to look odd after having procedures done. Usually around the eyes but especially the mouth. My mother had a face lift in her 40’s maybe it was her 50’s looked fine into her 80’s. I look in the mirror now and don’t always recognize the person looking back but I am in my 60’s now, prefer to spend my money on my home and living in it for as long as I can. Go cautiously and know when to stop.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Like many others, I've seen and heard mixed results from this procedure and while it's not something I'm thinking about, I appreciate being more informed!
She explains it so well. I had Scrulptra year’s ago. Loved it, no problems. However if you read the fine print, it isn’t recommended after a certain age. It doesn’t work as well. I don’t know if it has changed, like I said it was years ago. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos. 😊
Maybe after menopause because it’s harder to produce collagen after it but I have heard you can still get something out of it from those who have done it after .
I love this Doctor I try to watch every video she is in because I have learned so much. She really knows what she is talking about. And Dominique, you amaze me. You are so brave and candid with beauty treatments that most women would not dare tell anyone which makes you so much more beautiful not only outside, but inside as well. I can’t thank you enough for all the videos you make informing us on the best ways to keep looking fabulous. You are my hero.
I am 54 years old and had sculptra done 2 1/2 years ago. Im glad I did it. Treated my temple hollows and check area. As time went on the better the results. Looking forward to having a retouch.
Dominiq you are first and foremost a person who brings joy, who is full of life and optimism, the goodness he shares and you as such radiate and attract. So while watching and listening to you, I don’t really care about your wrinkles more or less, whether the chin line has the ideal tension, etc. because I simply enjoy your complete personality which is beautiful. Enjoy, rejuvenate while it makes you happy or gives you an extra good feeling, because one day we all accept that age does not matter. I send you a hug and love, that is never too much.
I am 3 years out of quote a hard ordeal in my life. I am recovering from illness as well. Needless to say I am running in to get this done. I can’t thank you enough for the education!
I think Dominique looks lovely❤.Why not try this and it works .I am greatful for Dominique to test for us new possibilities to optimize our bodies and it looks natural..after all we look after our clothes ,cars, appartments why not our bodies and faces as long as it looks natural and is not OVERDONE.Thank you Dominique🙏❤
I love these type of informative, skin treatments, because we know that this is how some celebs stay looking good. Some are honest about it, and others secretive, but now we know it's treatments like these, laser facials, botox, etc. They're options we can seek out if we want to or not. It can be expensive, but at least this looks natural. :)
I have had 3 CO 2 laser treatments, 5 Pico way treatments. It has certainly helped with my sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, brightness of my skin, and a little lift to the eye. It’s a personal choice and helps me feel and look my best. It’s not for everyone and that’s ok. I eat right, drink plenty of water, hike summits, mountain bike, downhill ski. My age is not important, my attitude is and I am so much more than what you see. Cosmetic treatments and all. ❤️ 💐 Tricia.
I can't thank you enough. It's amazing how you always manage to find the right people to explain and give great details. Dr. Nigro answered every question i had . Please keep bringing us information that some of us wouldn't know or are to shyor too embarrassed to go find out for ourselves.
Dominique, thank you for always informing us with new and varied ways of anti-aging. I appreciate your vulnerability in allowing us to watch you go through the procedure.❤️
I'd rather know about these procedures and how effective they are rather than not because "we all eventually age". This was highly informative, loving Dr Marjory's explanations, as usual!
I am jealous. I used to go for sculptra and eye fillers and lip fillers every year and then Covid hot and I stopped going. My Dr. Shino Aguilera in south Florida is the one who teaches all these doctors His technique is the best. I am sure your doctor knows him. Everyone does.
Oh my gosh I love love love love love love this doctor's high frequency her vibration and a very trusting energy.. I can sit and listen to her talk all day she explains everything beautifully and she definitely knows how to make you feel extremely comfortable and welcomed
Ugh people with these comments. When you click on the video, you know what it is about. If it's not for you, it's not for you. Move on. Don't watch the video. For people that are interested in the treatment or just curious can watch. Quit trying to tell people what to do with their own bodies. Why people for the need to critique every little thing that a stranger on the internet does is beyond me.
So only if you agree you can comment? Everyone is entitled to have an opinion whether they agree or disagree! This one-sidedness is one of the things that's wrong with the world!
Sculptra is wonderful and MUCH better than fillers. It uses your own body to produce collagen, is natural, and is placed along the bone. I will never do fillers again. Only some botox. It took me three years to do Sculptra because I was so SCARED! I don't know why, but I was. Do it ladies. Especially if you are thin!
Thank you for doing this. I am definitely saving up for this, it is incredible! And to think, it makes you produce your own collagen, that's simply amazing. I appreciate all your videos, encouragement, and inspiration, but the hair loss video and this one have taken you over the top! Love all you do, keep smiling.
Thanks Dominque. You are very brave. I almost fainted just watching. Your dr. Is so caring and kind. I had never heard of this procedure until this video.
Thank you Dominique for allowing us to join you on this journey. The video was so informative and helpful and your dermatologist explained it so well. Dr. Nigro is great. If I live in your area, I would be there in a heartbeat. I am going to do my research and see if it is right for me. I am not unhappy with my face but turning 60 gives me pause for thought and if it is right for me, why not! Thank you for your book. I've read it through and I will re-read to start doing some reflection. I've already changed my hair style! thank you!!!
I was wondering what your dermatologist has used on her hands! Beautiful skin on her hands, great dermatologist, very thorough explanations, this was so helpful and informative:) Dominique you are just stunning before and after.
I had Sculptra, 3 treatments, 3 months apart. I started it last July and I had it on the lower part of my face and I can’t see that much of a difference. I wanted to go with that because I hoped it was going to be more natural by stimulating my collagen but my results are not really evident yet. My provider said I might need more but I really can’t afford it so we will see! Wishing you all the best!
Great educational video on this procedure. Dominique, you are a TROOPER! Seriously just watching the needle go in on your face...I was uncomfortable, and you never flinched! Love the fact that it's natural, and I was surprised at the before and after. Beautiful!!!
Thank You Dominique abs Dr Nigron for sharing . It is so sweet of You to be transparent and always trying to educate us of what is new and save ways to help our skin to look healthier . Be Bold and Bless. 🙏🏻😘
Thanks for this wonderful video and thanks for being so transparent. At 55 years old I am considering having this done later this year or early next year. This video was SO helpful.
Completely *different lighting* in the before/after photos...how come? There is bad lighting in the before photo, emphasizing minuscule signs of aging & in the after photo, it just looks like much better lighting and maybe a bronzer added. You ARE LOVELY Dominique -- stay JUST as you are! 🥰
I nearly said this too. So frustrated with all before and after photos of every treatment being like this, nobody ever shows both with no makeup and both with harsh lighting from above and from the same angle.
Yep, I’ve gotten spoiled by Angie at HotandFlashy because she makes a point of shooting with the exact same lighting and camera equipment for everything, including all her before-and-afters. The ones shown here remind me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry’s date looks great or scary depending on the lighting! lol Anyway, extremely informative video but I think I’ll go back and look at a Nov makeup video to see a real comparison to now. Heck, most of us would take a before-Dominique for ourselves anyway! 😁
I accidentally found your channel and you are so beautiful, inspiring and speak with such clarity. I love the videos with you and your mom. I love that you are bringing back grace and class. I love your 1001 hairstyles... You truly are my new role model!!!!
I love her accent! Sculptra is an amazing product. Thank you for the info. On a side note, I am reading your book and honestly although I love your online content, I did not know what to think going into the book. I am an avid reader and can be skeptical, also, I have a PhD in psychology so I tend to over analyze things, but you have really outdone yourself. I have felt every emotion a human can feel reading this book. What a blessing it is. Thank you for sharing this side of yourself.
It's nice to know about options, but I'm always concerned about side effects, etc. Right now, will just use topical creams, eat healthy, exercise and be happy with myself.
Absolutely nothing wrong with living our lives the best we can, and whatever makes us happy in my opinion is a good thing. Self care and how we feel about ourselves is so important. If I could afford this I would jump at the chance.
Totally disagree Jana. If Dominique feels she needs a lift, so be it. I am amazed at this procedure. I’ve never had fillers or Botox, however this is on a different level and helping your body produce its own collagen is beyond amazing. I’m all for it. Thank you Dominique.
And what is wrong with vanity? I'm sure she's a good person, who contributes to society and does good around her. Why would vanity be wrong? Should we let our skin sag and droop to prove to others that we are profound beings?
@@dammar117 agree 100%, so very well written. This procedure is great and I have already checked this and other things. Dominique is so beautiful inside and out and so giving. I am proud to be part of her community.
You look amazing 🤩 and your doctor is so professional and explained everything so easy to be understood by anyone! Thanks Dominique. 🥰 Thanks 🙏 for sharing
I had used fillers for some years then looked back at old photos and realized I didn’t like the way I looked. I stopped using fillers except just one syringe for fine lines around the lips. I will definitely look into the Sculptra for a more natural look. Thanks for sharing!!
I am 72, after watching "10 years younger" on British TV, I had derma fillers at a very reputable skin clinic in Harley Strèet London. A waste of a lot of money (£3,500). No noticeable change to my face. We all have a choice but I made the wrong one.
@@wendyperryman7693 The thing with fillers most don’t realize is that when we age, the bones under our skin also age/recede. some people already have deep hollowing in the eyes that fillers cannot fix. that’s why she said it looks even worse in athletes/very lean people. Sculptra can help a bit. best bet is to start taking care of yourself before 35 yrs old so there’s less to undo. Respectfully, - Dr. Mike.M
I wish I had never had fillers, if sculptra was available with my injector I would have had that instead. My only objection to this video is her saying fillers don’t last, that’s the biggest lie in the non surgical cosmetic community. I’ve had fillers that are still the same as 3-4 years ago, if I had known I would never have had them. Natural is best. I am having Sculptra in two weeks 😀
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I knew I wanted to do something but really didn't want to get caught in that cycle of having fillers (been there done that in my 40s) & going under the knife wasn't particularly appealing, what other choice was there, thread lifts? So glad I waited. Sculptra seems to be the better option as it is less invasive, lasts much longer than I thought & as was .pointed out it ends up being cheaper than fillers (not to mention the time/energy saved not having run to additional doctor's appts.) Knowing this is a very natural substance that just facilitates your own body's production of collagen is the other advantage. Seeing you (you're such a good sport about such things) was just the nudge I needed. Your doctor was wonderful, so thorough in explaining everything step-by-step from beginning to end which has served to build my confidence going forward. So I want to thank both of you ladies for a job well done!
Dominique, thank you! This was fantastic. I've heard of Sculptra but didn't know much about it, and it didn't realize it would replace fillers. I'm going to take a look at doing this instead of 3 times a year getting fillers. You have great results, and look absolutely beautiful! Really enjoyed this one!
Dominique, so proud of you! I live in Charlotte, NC & your book was sold out on both of our Barnes & Nobles. This week I came to Austin to visit my daughter & your book was sold out in the B&N here, but the sales person told me she would check on the other store, and a shipment had just got in. I had to save one before going to pick it up. Amazing! Congrats! The Cuban grandma.
It looks fabulous, I don't understand the negative comments. Yes we all age, but why not be the best you can be, and if it boosts your self esteem go for it!
I had 3 treatments of sculptra. My last one was end of march. I am about to be 64. I was hoping to see more lifting but I still do not regret it. My doctor (and all I have read )said to massage for 5min-5 times a day for 5 days. I did it because I am so paranoid of getting those nodules. I also read they can show up years later? I would do it again.
Wow, Dominique thanks for taking us along for this procedure. Dr. Nigra is fantastic, I love how you two interact! The results look so good, so natural. You look so refreshed!
To be honest that's ALOT more Bruising than usual Maybe it was being recorded I found honestly She talked ALOT Some docs feel they have to Fill every moment
This is just phenomenal! I have always been against fillers and all of that, really don't find those swollen faces something beautiful. But this Sculptra is amazing due to the fact that your face will never look swollen, unnatural. Congrats, Dominique!! You have great doctors!
As a physician I don’t recommend this procedure. After having to remove these nodules, from my patients’ face, from getting Sculptra, I don’t recommend this particular procedure. Most people are completely unheeding or nonplussed that they may or have nodules under their skin from Sculptra, until you hey experience a bump under their skin or when they have other issues. I’ve removed too many, from so many patients who range in age that did everything they should have and still gained those nodules under their skin. After much research, personally, I don’t recommend or think of as an option. But people will do the craziest treatments, sometimes at any cost, despite what a professional informs them- all because they want to clench to their youth.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I for one am not into Botox, fillers, etc. However, if this stimulates your collagen, that's enticing. Your derm is so energetic and forthright, much appreciated. I hate when they go on and on about a procedure and act like cost is not an issue. The video you did with her about retinols was excellent.
It really surprises me that so many of the comments are with Condition and judgment. The awesome thing is every single comment negative as well boosts the popularity of your videos!!! Thank you so much for sharing Dominique I had never heard of this before and I love how transparent and honest you are and real you are about continuing to improve yourself on the inside and the outside. You are a FORCE and thank you for all you do to educate us. 💜
the doc pulled back on the syringe before she injected, good job Doc. Dominique you are so awersome for sharing everything with us. I really apprecite it. You're the best!
Yes Holly, it is emotional to go through clothes we’ve collected over the years. I recently stopped putting off cleaning out my closet, and it was tough. I had to work through letting go of things that I had many good moments in. But I LOVE my closet now. I’m happy for you❤️
You have lovely hands...I think those can wait. But wow the results of the Sculptra is beautiful! I didn’t think I’d consider it 6-7 years ago but time marches on. Thanks for sharing your experience.
The before and after pictures mean NOTHING because the light source is different from one to the other. Light completely changes the face on photographs ( I am a pro photographer )
Crazy how much we the viewers are considered as complete idiots with the unability to detect bullshit when it is so obvious! They may say “ oh there is no photoshop on these pictures “ Sure but the light is COMPLETELY different, it is so easy to age or give a more youthful flawless render ALL with light source. I wish everyone could understand that. I am not saying this procedure may not work but the pictures are surely NOT the proof it does…
Dominique, you are an inspiration. 💝 Thank you for sharing everything from your heart. You not only bring "the latest and greatest' innovations in beauty treatments, but you use yourself as the guinea pic. I just admire you so much!
Thank you Dominique and your doctor for sharing this. I’m 46 and having sculptra done next week. You were always beautiful, but I understand wanting to look your best.
Your doctor did the best explanation I've ever heard for how Sculptra actually works. Her explanation is making me think I'll give this treatment a try.
Dominique Sachse how were these bruises compared botox bruises? I've had botox and bruised just a bit, this has my attention. :) You are brave to do this in front of the camera and let us all watch and learn. Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I am 75 and I wear makeup every day because it makes me feel better. I don't even leave the house lots of days but I wear it for my own satisfaction. I have always looked about 20 years younger than I am but lately see lots of wrinkles and sagging. I have had so many people accuse me of having work done but I have not. I just have good genes and have taken care of myself. I am considering doing this if I can find a reputable place nearby. I appreciate you telling us the cost. I could afford this too if I saved up a little. It would be worth it to me. I also appreciate the info on the neck and hands. I have always had old looking hands. I put a little foundation on them when I go out. It helps. I have never wanted to get a facelift so this is a good option.
Thank you for such an informative video. I don't think you needed any Sculptra, however beautiful results. Thank you for sharing ,being honest and transparent. I didn't hear the physician discuss risks/side effects to this particular treatment.
I’m so excited to hear there’s an option for neck skin! After losing weight, the sagging neck skin is very annoying, I’m going to have to check this out!
Agree 100%!

@Summer Dhillon I just come for the information and I just don't comment
I used sculptra 7 years ago ( in my 60’s) and there was a huge difference from before and after - very happy with the results. It really works.
How long did the benefit last? Any disadvantages you could mention? Thanks,
Have you continued since that 1st treatment? If yes, how often? Thanks!

So true .I applaud Dominique for having this dermatologist demonstrate and educate the community.Excellente!
I was reading recently that Sculptra is not good for under eyes, but it looks like she just put one shot above the cheek and that’s all.. anyway the outcome was fantastic❤
What is the doctors name please?
Me too! I do things that make me feel good, no objection to anyone if they are using injectables. Thank you Dominique❤
@@lorrainehughes-smith6447 this isn't a threadlift..
I've had 4 sessions of sculptra done - over the course of 6 months.... 1 vial a series of weeks apart in my upper cheeks / cheeks and lower smile lines around my mouth.... the difference is absolutely astonishing... it's even helping smooth out my under eyes without anything else.
So many derms & surgeons have said to stay away from thread lifts.
Did they applied it to you on the same facial points than to her?
@@estefaniaboujon6830 Everyones placement is a bit different. However the same zones are injected, Example your dr may start in a different area, adding more or less depending on your personal goal. My doctor started with my temples, and under eyes, and cheeks, then lastly mid face, I end up needing more in my mid and mouth area.
Any issues with nodules? Had one treatment but keep reading horror stories about things happening a yr after. It’s freaking me out.
What supplements ?
So happy u got great results! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

I agree 100%!
Well, we can all go to Houston, meet Dominique in person and have Sculptra...lol

Yes I’ve noticed this in a lot of before and after photos. It’s deceptive.
And a wider angle to make face look fullee
They should always use before and after photos in the same light and without makeup so that there is nothing deceitful about a procedure.
It’s not even a before pic from the day she got the sculptra. Hair is a different color. Who knows what other treatments Dominique had in the interim.

Do you happen to know where that Nigro is located?
I tried sculptra several years ago in my cheeks BUT developed a hard nodule the size of a pea below one check that sat there for about year. No more sculptra for me.
Were you instructed to massage the area yourself and if so could it be that you didn't massage it sufficiently? The doctor mentioned that that could happen without proper massaging which I think is why she included an instruction on how to properly do it.
I am glad you recovered. People are never told how dangerous it is to inject literally anything in the body.... even if there is a small risk, who wants to be a statistic?
Ohhh no I'm so sorry that you experienced that side effect that's actually what scares me about all these procedures - too many risks involved
You're not alone. My nodule had to be surgically removed.
What a lovely doctor. I love how she explained everything from the product to how it works! Thanks for sharing Dominique!

Dear Dominique, I have to tell you that Dr. Marjory is amazing, she made me feel powerful & brave! 👏👏
Iv said that all a long...you come to the point...why have a 50 yr old face if you have a 60 yr old body
@@marsharader5291 Or why not!
I couldn't agree more!

@@laraoneal7284 Don’t remember exactly. The older you get, your collagen and elastin don’t replenish the way it did when you were younger.

Before and after lighting always frustrates me, too! I can see there’s a difference after the treatment, but really how much I’m not sure.
Definitely agree. Makes you wonder doesn’t it???? Lighting, filters, make up , hocus pocus can make all of us look better!!!
The before pic was before she went blonde. Wish it were taken right before the treatment.
Dr Nigro apart of treatments is a jewellery master 💚
It's nice to know about options, but I'm always concerned about side effects, etc. Right now, will just use topical creams, eat healthy, exercise and be happy with myself.
Absolutely nothing wrong with living our lives the best we can, and whatever makes us happy in my opinion is a good thing. Self care and how we feel about ourselves is so important. If I could afford this I would jump at the chance.
Dominique mentioned she has always been confident. Plus there was no need for it. Not a good message. This is pure vanity. Expensive and addicting.

I had used fillers for some years then looked back at old photos and realized I didn’t like the way I looked. I stopped using fillers except just one syringe for fine lines around the lips. I will definitely look into the Sculptra for a more natural look. Thanks for sharing!!
I am 72, after watching "10 years younger" on British TV, I had derma fillers at a very reputable skin clinic in Harley Strèet London. A waste of a lot of money (£3,500). No noticeable change to my face. We all have a choice but I made the wrong one.
I’ve been considering fillers for 3 yrs. What didn’t you like about them? I’m nervous since I’ve never has any procedures done.
Respectfully,

I wish I had never had fillers, if sculptra was available with my injector I would have had that instead. My only objection to this video is her saying fillers don’t last, that’s the biggest lie in the non surgical cosmetic community. I’ve had fillers that are still the same as 3-4 years ago, if I had known I would never have had them. Natural is best. I am having Sculptra in two weeks 😀
@@nicholablakely2832How did your Sculptra treatment go?
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I knew I wanted to do something but really didn't want to get caught in that cycle of having fillers (been there done that in my 40s) & going under the knife wasn't particularly appealing, what other choice was there, thread lifts? So glad I waited. Sculptra seems to be the better option as it is less invasive, lasts much longer than I thought & as was
.pointed out it ends up being cheaper than fillers (not to mention the time/energy saved not having run to additional doctor's appts.)
Knowing this is a very natural substance that just facilitates your own body's production of collagen is the other advantage.
You always look gorgeous! You don't need any of these treatments.
I also had 3 treatments when I was 59 and I had zero lifting. I returned to the doctor to show her and she agreed 🤷🏻♀️
Wow, Dominique thanks for taking us along for this procedure. Dr. Nigra is fantastic, I love how you two interact! The results look so good, so natural. You look so refreshed!
To be honest that's ALOT more
Bruising than usual
Maybe it was being recorded
I found honestly
She talked ALOT
Some docs feel they have to
Fill every moment
The heaviness in the face
Buccal removal
Then you don't need treatments
It's done
Awesome video. Thank you for walking us thru step by step.
I’m getting Sculptra after I finish my PRF treatments!!! So excited!!!
Very intrigued. Would love to see a better before and after of you with this treatment. You are always so beautiful.
I also noticed that she aspirated before injection, that way she knew it was not going into a blood vessel
Light completely changes the face on photographs ( I am a pro photographer )
yes, that was glaringly obvious to me and I am not a pro! LOL
Also, poor lighting and one with make up one without
One with red hair and one with blonde.
I am not saying this procedure may not work but the pictures are surely NOT the proof it does…
Exactly! I’m not a pro photographer but I can see the difference and I see this so often when showing before and afters.
Dominique, you are an inspiration. 💝 Thank you for sharing everything from your heart. You not only bring "the latest and greatest' innovations in beauty treatments, but you use yourself as the guinea pic. I just admire you so much!
I’ve done it 3 times! Massage 5 days, 5 minutes for 5 times per day! Amazing results!
What was the frequency of your treatments? Like 12 months, 18 months apart etc?
@@brendatomlinson , apart every 6-8 weeks! Amazing results! My acne scar down by my chin has really softened also!
@@jenifermeyer5902 Thanks Jenifer!
How many syringes did you use each time? I couldn’t tell if she did one or two in this video. Thank you!!
Get on your dermatologist's mailing list to be notified when there are sales. My Sculptra was only $750 and I live in a larger city

Dominique Sachse how were these bruises compared botox bruises? I've had botox and bruised just a bit, this has my attention. :) You are brave to do this in front of the camera and let us all watch and learn. Thank you!
Good question! I would also like advice to cover bruising...specific products.
It's great to know what different options one can have.
Thank you so much for this great video
Thank you for such an informative video. I don't think you needed any Sculptra, however beautiful results. Thank you for sharing ,being honest and transparent. I didn't hear the physician discuss risks/side effects to this particular treatment.
The doctor is sweet and provides great information. I love her 😊
I’m so excited to hear there’s an option for neck skin! After losing weight, the sagging neck skin is very annoying, I’m going to have to check this out!
From what I read about Sculptra they do not use it in the neck.
