lots of currency coming your way bro
Shout-out to trash taste for bringing me this channel to binge
Where you've been :(:
I miss your videos so much man!
Love your videos man. Been rewatching some of them hoping you’d make more! Would love to see you reproduce more sounds both from cinema and games. What about an episode reproducing the alien sounds in tve movie Arrival? Cheers man!
Trash Taste led me here.
And I'm here to stay
Amazing as usual my guy!
Hey Marshall looking forward to new content :)
Man, glad you're back :D love your content and also thanks for so many advises... I'd love to have a minute to talk with you.
Going back and binging these videos. I really miss seeing you in my feed.
"Be careful with that robot Eugune" please reupload that song. when you put it out years ago i had downloaded it but cant find it anymore. i wish you were still making tunes, they were off the wall.
Hey dude! I've watched all your videos, and I'm learning so much. My friend asked me to do sound design for his indie horror comedy game, so I''m really diving in. Thanks for the content, hope to see more soon.
Are you still active? Miss your content A LOT!
When is your next video coming? I miss your content!
I have been a theatre technician for a little over 3 years now and just being thrown into audio, this is so fun. I always love solving problems and figure out how to make custom sounds when we need them!
I miss your vids man...🥺
Just found out your channel. Hope you'll come back with these sorts of videos.
Oh yes you're back and doing a video on my favorite game. Amazing! Great job as always!
We miss you man
Awesome video! I love this game. Your videos have gotten noticeably more polished in the visual sense over time. Thank you for all the hard work you put into them!
I knew you were gonna talk about doom eternal before my eyes even registered the screen because of the weakpoint ping
Lmao played this game in middle school while it was a closed beta, no clue it even still existed
I just started my sound design studies and practices! You have no idea how helpful your videos are. Thank you!
One of my most-played games, currently at 1800 hours. There's still so much to learn.
Love your sound design videos and always love to see my interests overlap!
More sound design secret videos please! Whether that be from music ambience(IE how banjo would have dynamic music when you go to different areas), Sound design tips/tricks and all around anything to do with game dev is always appreciated
If only more of us could actually hear this stuff. If only disabling sounds wasn't necessary for so many of us in order to get at least halfway decent performance. If only...
Every day is a good day when Marshall uploads
I ignored the syndicate for the longest time cause I thought it was too complicated but it's actually pretty easy and very very rewarding if done correctly.
Basically there are 4 safe-houses which you can progress by completing syndicate encounters , when the safe-house is ready you can access it through Jun , they give a ton of experience so it's worth to farm them for this purpose alone and there's sometimes good gear ( the things you get from the safe-house depends on who is the lieutenant and that's the complicated part , since every member has loot sources depending on their rank/the position they're at). I recommend using the poe trade companion which has a help tab that's super useful if you want to optimize your syndicate farm.
When you complete safe-houses , you will get mastermind progress and then you can go to the final safe-house which is where you can make the big bucks if you're lucky ( this is where you can find paradoxica & cinderswallow among other things.)
Any shot for a 2 year anniversary return?
Ok so your videos have really helped me not only understand how sounds are made. But also appreciate sound design. I wanted to request if you could try making your own sounds for Fire Force Anime & try to remake the Cloaker sound from Payday?
hey guys, where is M.M?
Miss your vids man
Another banger by Marshall mcgee
Awesome job like always! Great breakdown..makes me want to play this game now though hours of tutorials don't sound appealing haha..
I get so excited when these videos come out HOT DAMN
I just started playing this game again, but on my ps4. The game have some really good voice acting too, with the emphasis on the rotten world.
Cooommmmeee baaaacccckkk
Where'd you go mate???
Yo Marshall, I just came across this thing called Audio Design Desk, kinda like a DAW for basically "placing sounds in real time". Maybe a review or somethin?
I'm curious how much the Extra Gore mod on Belly of the Beast, which among more visceral death animations also ramps up enemy hit/death sounds, changed your experience with the game. Especially on a bleed build, it really turns the squish noise of bleeds up
always love these marshall!!
Back with a vengeance! Awesome stuff as always Marshal. Would you dive deeper into the world of dynamic mixing and voice stealing?
Would be extremely useful for a mini series on this!
I'm currently working with wwise and Ue4 and attempting similar things right now. Side chaining, instance limiting high pass low pass etc etc. A lot of tools to work with! I wonder how I can set up a trigger rate in the correct contexts for an FPS. All great food for thought!
Keep up the good work. Mork
More episodes soon? 🥺👉👈
Thank you)
Really good contents, thanks for sharing man
Big up from France !
Would be interesting to introduce a rhythm generator to the concurrent sound culler. In a busy game you could probably get away with it
Make more stuff make more stuff make more stuff make more things make
For a sound student, your videos are a reference. I'd like you to make a video about the sound of Death Stranding, I wonder what you can tell us about this game. A big thank you for your work !
Man, I love your channel
U good bro?
bro! where the videos at ?
Great channel!
Can't wait for the next video it's been far too long mate
Mane come back
You convinced me to download the game.
Great video!
I love your videos Marshall Mcgee
Where are you? :)
You should check out the smoke, neon, video, and concrete power sounds from Infamous: Second Son
Thank you for your videos!
Hey, havent heard from you in a while - hope you are all right? Looking forwart to seeing new content!
Id really love you to do a react on Astartes 1-5 - I guell youll love the dynamic and the neverending rythem of footsteps maring together with the ambient noice.
Its just brilliant imo - Id love to get your opinion.
I really like your work, it would be nice to see a Valheim video as well if you have ever played it. The game is currently on early in access but I would like to see your perspective on the its audio design.
Fun initiative!
Awesome stuff Marshall! I found your page recently and haven't looked back since. What are some of your favorite channels for sound design? I would love a channel with your level of content, but that focuses on tv, film, and animation
same
Bro what happened with you? I love your content :,(
Do you have suggestions on gear to rec properly? Like mobile recorders or other interfaces and stuff. Discovered this channel few days ago but I guess you're busy with other things now... the content you made is still very helpful and inspiring for noobies like me
Depends on your budget, you could just use your phone when first starting out. If you would like to upgrade to something dedicated the Zoom H1N works nicely. Above that I would recommend the Zoom H4N. Mics shotgun mics work great! Thats all you really need honestly.
@@atokenbeast3927 I've read that the pre is a bit noisy and it doesn't rec quite sounds good enough to be processed afterwards, but I understand that for entry level sound design you can't expect perfection at this pricepoint. Curious to see if there are less hyped brands to do similar products but I'll consider your suggestion, thank you so much.
@@crusherxxx7 i mean a lot of AAA designers use the h4n. But if you want some better, H6n, Mix pre6, Dr-70D, Zoom F8 or zoom F6. I personally use either the mixpre6 or the zoom F6. But these options are generally over $400.
Hey, could you try breaking down biotic sound design from mass effect? Those are some insane sounds and I have no idea how to recreate them
Can you make a video on horror sound design in more depth than your last video. I would totally watch an hour long video. Also Monster Hunter World, specifically the monsters' sound design
great
Broooo can you make " how to make a punch barrage sound design" like its from jojo bizzare adventure?
Considering you've been able to make this video, how'd you like heist?
Anyone else come here from Trash Taste Podcast?
Do you have a deadline marshall? I'm a bit swamped right now but i'd love to make the sounds effects.
I don't play PoE anymore, so can you make a video when the pack comes out to showcase all the wonderful creations?
YEAH, THE AUDIO DESIGN OF DISABLING ALL SOUNDS BESIDES NPCS AND LOOT FILTERS TO HAVE BAREABLE FPS
Hey Marshall
I wanted to give you a video suggestion of you recreating the Gravity Gun sounds from Half Life 2 :)
Is this channel dead
Here after gigguk's recommendation
trash taste gang rise up!
trash taste. that is all.
step 1: learn what crafting method you need and farm that or buy if you are in trade leauge(like essences)
step2: learn what steps you should follow( like essence>block prefix>veiled chaos)
Every crafting video is like 30 seconds bro. Every old leauge crafting mechanics are bult into the game so obv it will take time if you try to learn all of it yourself
