Hey Eric, I didn't catch the error the first time but you have an error when you are speaking. When measuring HR you are doing a 1- second count and needing to times the pulse rate by 6 and you stated "10". I uploaded the video for my students and corrected the error with them telling them you multiple by 6 as in what you had written, NOT what you said out loud!
Yes, there was a mistake. I didn't want to go back and try to remake the video. That's why if you watch real close you can see that I put x6 in text on the video right above my head. Good catch!
I love this video. I have my Masters degree in Exercise and Sports sciences and am a PE coach as well as a certified trainer. I'm using this video and all others for my virtual PE middle school classes during our at home time due to the Corona Virus. This method of determining heart rate is the simplest one and perfect for young students. I enjoy all your videos very much for they are short and to the point. My students have short attention spans so this is great!
