    We traded in our Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack today for a Vesuvio Gray Metallic 2022 Giulia Veloce with the red seats and we absolutely love it. Great handling car. Lots of fun to drive. And with all wheel drive, it's perfect for our Chicago winters.

      It's been 6 months. Care to provide an update? I'm looking at buying the exact car you own.

    One thing I’ve always been curious about is overall reliability, I’ve heard they’re pretty good but I don’t know anyone who owns a Giulia. But they are a dream car to own!

    Still loving my 2017 model, who cares about the tech, its all about the driving experience 🤔

      I wouldn’t buy an Alfa for it’s infotainment system…I would buy one for its styling, performance and over all driving enjoyment.

    “A” mode is Advanced Efficiency Mode. Eco mode. Not for bad weather.

    The Giulia is very well made. With its carbon fiber driveshaft, column mounted paddle shifters controlling the same 8 speed transmission, that is shared with the Quadrafolio, and that great little 4 cyl turbocharged engine that is easily tunable to over 300 hp, the Giulia is a no brainer! Add the proven reliability and you have a great decision on 4 wheels.
    It’s just a pity that Alpha Romeo is not doing more to market both the Giulia and the Stelvio. At least here in the states, FCA should be putting more money into marketing campaigns, dealership events etc to get more awareness out to the general public.

      Perfect. I like the exclusivity. I don’t want more people buying them. I have a Giulia and have never seen another one out in the wild.

    I finally been on a steadier, higher income for the past couple of years and I feel like getting this car will be a reality within the next year. I really want the dah trim matching colour, I'm afraid that'll not be possible. Not sure why these companies don't just keep these things.

    What are the major differences between 2018 models through the 2023, aesthetics only? Beautiful car regardless

  • @vomErsten

    I don't like that the red seats no longer come with matching door cards, lower dash, and stitching and I don't like how there are no more exterior embellishment options. Kind of a deal-breaker; this stuff isn't even chip-related, it's just cost-cutting for the final model year before a major face-lift.

      @@hansikrusche5151 Then they can continue to enjoy slumping sales. 🤷‍♀

      @grtbgf 2 роки тому +1

      @@vomErsten I mean i don't really want a facelift, feel like they can only ruin the design if they try to change it, but I agree with you for the interior.. It feels like cost cutting for sure. Their dashes used to look beautiful with tan, red, or white matched interior colors.

    • @Darkangel-sw9lm
      @Darkangel-sw9lm 2 роки тому

      It’s not cost cutting. It was too hard to get orders fulfilled because of all the different assembly lines. So they mainstreamed it to pump cars out faster. But yes I agree. I just got a red interior and wish it was the way it used to be. Tried to find a ‘21 but no dice. Other things that used to be better included black rims and black badging. A prime example of a preceding year being better than the current one.

      You can buy the leather lower dash as an option which comes with an upgraded sound system

    • @vomErsten
      @vomErsten 2 роки тому

      @@davidgibson3481 You can't. You have to go aftermarket used to find a red lower dash and matching door cards, and your stitching across the car will now be mismatched. Regardless, it's not something g I would be interested in doing to a new car and buying used doesn't help the brand survive.

    paddle shifters are to small....😯 wtf they are thinking making them so huge?and whats up with the 90's design of the buttons on the wheel?

    • @grtbgf
      @grtbgf 2 роки тому +3

      Lucian, I think you should buy a Mercedes. Buttons on the wheel have 90's design? Ok sure bruh. And if you think shift paddles are too big, I don't think this type of car is for you.

      They are fixed to the steering column. They have to be big. Rally race cars have these and they are the same as Ferrari except in aluminum. Too high performance for you, duh.

      There are some nice Italian touches such as the steering wheel start/stop button and the climate vents. I always look for cheap plastic in vehicles and it had some on the doors but not too much. I don’t really want that plastic if I’m going to spend 50k.

    I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead.

Clearly he is salty and has no life, sorry but he probably is just mad he cant buy an alfa. Ive had a QV for 4 years now and ive been enjoying it without any issues just regular oil changes and it eats tires.

      @Aaron C stop your pathetic cries on every Alfa Romeo video, SPAMMER! If what you claim even happened, there's always 2 sides to every story and you cry because you didn't get what you want (full replacement instead of insurance market value?). You're alive... think of fatalities due to proven engineering shortcomings in any car unfortunately, like Audi TT or Tesla S as examples. Again, if true, you crash a car and blame a system used by other manufacturers and not known to have caused problems to anyone else. GROW UP AND STOP SPAMMING, TROLL.
