Funny.... this was literally - LITERALLY - the catalyst that made me start binge-watching my (then) newly purchased DVD set of Breaking Bad: The Complete Series. I had never seen the series before. Incidentally, family had already endured about 4 or 5 harrowing deaths within our circle of friends and family, so we had not even wrapped any Christmas gifts, but when I heard this, I snapped and became very high-tempered the rest of the day. After an all-out argument broke out, I was asked if I want to watch a Christmas movie. I shouted back: "NO! I WANT TO SEE A POWER-HUNGRY SON-OF-A-BITCH TAKE OVER THE WHOLE WORLD! 'CAUSE THAT'S WHAT I FEEL LIKE!!!". Then.... one of my folks suggested calmly with a cryptic smirk: "Wanna start watching Breaking Bad? Boy, oh, boy..... I promise you: You'll get SO involved in the story, you will completely forget your own troubles." I threw up my hands and said: "YES! That sounds perfect! I'll go get the set right now." I literally spent the night binge-watching the ENTIRE first season of Breaking Bad. Then the next day, I binged all the Season 1 Commentaries and Special Features. I am not kidding: *THIS WAS THE DAY* I was introduced to the world of Walter White, his family and Jesse Pinkman.
They use her voice that they recorded and they either did a cgi or another actor Fun fact: We got the news when we were watching rouge one and exactly the scene where leia appears
@European Defenderman You're trying too hard. Everyone who doesn't live in LaLaLa-land knows what smoking does to human body. If you smoke this certainly isn't least of your problems: ua-cam.com/video/TRL7o2kPqw0/v-deo.html
I was 45 when she passed, and I just cried for hours flicking through UA-cam.... as my kids - who had never seen their father cry like that - looked on mystified. No 'celebrities' passing had ever done that to me .. but it goes to show how deeply the Star Wars saga touched a generation. "Now cracks a noble heart. - Good night, sweet princess, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"
12/27/2018 - 2 years gone 🙏 Carrie meant so much to me for so many reasons. I have bipolar disorder, and I didn’t know what mental condition I had until she made me aware of what it was through her openness about the fact that she had it too. If I didn’t think I had a mental disorder, I wouldn’t have sought treatment for it and my life would be a lot more difficult. But because Carrie had the strength to speak about such things, it has helped me and so many others with bipolar disorder understand what we have and learn how to improve our lives. In addition to awareness, Carrie Fisher also gave me a lot of strength as a person. I always knew her as the insanely cool Princess Leia, yet as I got to learn more about her as a human being, the more inspiration and courage I gained to do more things and take more risks in my own life.
When Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi was released in theaters on December 15, 2017, this movie was dedicated to her and during the end credits, it says, "In loving memory of our Princess, Carrie Fisher".
unfortunately 2016 has claimed many of my favorite iconic heros and singers...hate how people go to videos like this and put "1st comment!" really triggers me, hope 2017 isn't this bad, rip all icons that took 2016 away😭. may the force be with you
Holy craaap I remember so clearly seeing the news on the tv on camp. I asked mum “who’s that?” She told me it was the actor of Princess Leia. And damn was I sad, I just started crying on the spot. Even now I cry hearing how she died.
When this came on tv I was only 7 and I loved Star Wars, but then when I was playing with my little sister one day my mom was watching the news on tv with my aunt and then this came on. All I remember was having no expression on my face and crying when I went to bed that night :(
A sudden and unfortunate loss. 2:58 I'm sorry- you _cannot_ tell me that _isn't_ a green-screen shot! "Live" from California, maybe, but he's not standing in that specific location.
Whoever gave/sold Carrie heroin , cocaine, and mdna needs to be held accountable, procuring a known woman in recovery hard drugs- it makes so freakin' mad
Happy B-day and Rest In Peace Princess Leia. Your were beautiful. Amazing legend. I love Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope, Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back, Episode 6 Return of the Jedi, Episode 7 The Force Awakens, Episode 8 The Last Jedi, Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker. Me and my older and little brother watch Episode 7 The Force Awakens, on December 18... it was for my little brother's 19 birthday. His birthday was December 18. I'm glad. I'll never stop watching Star Wars, Carrie! I love all Star Wars movies, all of them r my first favorite movies. May the Peace be with u Carrie Fisher. She was a wonderful actress and personality, but I have always pondered about how OLD she looked and sounded at her age EVERY time I saw her on screen or in an interview.... just found out she was only 19 in the first Star Wars film.... and I would have thought she was at least late 60s upon seeing her in her last Star Wars appearance. Too bad she passed away so early in life.
It's been 3 years since her death. And we still cant get over it

I find it insane that her mother died the day after her from a broken heart and in Star Wars her mother died as well from a broken heart.
