- Debbie Reynolds, a star from Hollywood's golden age, died Wednesday in Los Angeles. She had lost her daughter, actress and author Carrie Fisher, just the day before. Reynolds made her name in "Singing in the Rain," and her career in the spotlight lasted more than 60 years. Kevin Frazier of "Entertainment Tonight" reports.

I know the feeling. My cousin passed away 4 years ago we were best friends did everything together went to the same school went everywhere together for 37 years , he had a heart attack on the freeway a day before his daughter's birthday. He pulled over people say he got out the car and dropped and that was it. Nobody cried as hard as i did at the funeral , I took it pretty hard I couldn't stop crying for weeks I even thought of hanging myself just so we can be together again til this day he pops in my head and tears just fall believe me I under stand this pain.

What are the odds that a parent and a child would die within a day of each other of unexpected natural causes? I think it's more likely for a parent and child to have the same birthday. My late grandmother had the same birthday as my uncle (November 5), but died the same day as my grandfather (February 23) 50 years later.
