What was your favorite item in the video?
LTT solution is kinda ghetto, NGL
I can't say I'm to happy to see these Fum adds and endorsements. I've had quite a few friends who started with something simple like vapes or snus and eventually stepped up to nicotine then eventually started smoking or even taking drugs to itch that scratch. I get the idea of this being a better alternative to be able to stop but with how it's advertised I fear younger individuals will just use it and it could be a gateway into worse items
I don't watch a lot of your content but this was cool
With sponsors like these, thank goodness for Sponsorblock.
@@kuma_score7536i think its for people to stop vaping actually
You know its dirt cheap when the fucking screw breaks in half
not really, he just doesn't know what he's doing. He used a bit way too skinny for the pilot tap before putting the screw in
@@kianmarcial8884you mean the screw was too wide for the pilot hole?
@@kianmarcial8884 I mean, still... I'd expect the threads to just not be able to drive in, not the head to snap off.
@@kianmarcial8884lol wut, he was doing fine. I don’t care if he screwed them in raw; screws should not break like that getting screwed in by hand
You have the energy most tech channels somewhat don't have.
Glad to see you making these kinds of videos again Kyle. Thank u
When I see the word insane, I think of our loved friend Lyle.
This would be super funny if Lyle was hosting
RIP
Get the Corsair RMx Shift PSU with side connectors! They have 750W - 1200W.
I totally forgot about those! That's so perfect. Thanks for the tip!
Exactly what I thought especially since they sponsored the video LOL.
Great idea. The one thing I'd change would be the capture PC case. It's absolutely massive for the job it needs to do. A sub-5 litre case would be more than enough to handle this job and frees up space under the desk to mount other stuff.
LTT Magnetic Cable things, run the cable down the leg of the desk.
Bruh, your timing of this video is perfect. I'm literally about to start upgrading my build space. Thank you! I do have a Win10-based NAS in an old box where I do centrally download drivers and installers and use to backup customer data (if required, not by default) and my personal file storage. I think that's my alternative to your stream PC and is super useful.
Cool! Good luck!
one of my all time favorite videos of yours (ofc), but really on UA-cam period. Love this. Now i'm side-eyeing the corner of my office for how i could poor-man some kinda similar setup for when i work on PCs
you should have used one of the new PSU's with the connectors on the side Kyle
For the power cord, I think the term you need to search on is "cleat" like a boat. If you search for power cord cleats, you'll find plenty.
This buildout was awesom! I love functional buildouts like this. Also, that pc build segment was very Robin Williams-like. Awesome.
It irks me how "natural" in marketing speak means "good for you". Arsenic is natural, so is lead and uranium.
thank you so much for this video Kyle, i wil be saving this till the day i have my own work desk
Great vid man, exactly the inspiration i was looking for
What a great idea for a video, and great execution. You rock, Kyle!
Great video Kyle, love the concept and the execution! Please keep us updated on the progress of the desk as you change things. I've been looking for an under desk case mount solution so I'd be interested to see if it holds up.
10:45 Idk if Corsair just sent random stuff to you, or if you spec'd it out, but you could've gone with one of their "Shift" series PSUs that have the connectors on the side, and this would be less of a problem. Idk if all of the connectors would be out of the way of the straps, though, now that I look at it again. Hmm...
I LOVE this idea of an all-in-one PC building station, though!
I love this idea! Well considered, planned and executed. Perfect
Loved the new video, Kyle! It gave me me some great ideas for my own desk
Practical to the point of exhaustion! Very nice man *^^*
LTT has some cool cable management tools
Great work desk! Very nice to work off a customized desk..great video
Super happy you're getting back into Tech. Missed seeing your videos pop up in my notifications.
What a cool desk!!!! Good job!!!
Absolutely loved this.
Super cool video full of good ideas for every desk!
im definitely ordering those little magnetic cable clips. i have so many uses for those. i own that cup holder and it works very good. i also thought about getting the wireless charger puck but instead went for the elevationlab quickdraw. its a cord holder with slack adjustment.
Chord hangers: Home Depot ilse 69 right next to the board stretcher, blinker fluid, and streamer grade wire management assembly.
You could change to the side cable power supply, so you have easyer access to the cables
RM1000x SHIFT 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
I was about to recommend the same one.
I use a keyfob powerbutton for mine lol it's pretty cool and I just ordered the desk base and power strip lol another great vid brother! hope you are well :)
I LOVE THE SPONSOR, NOW THIS WE NEED MORE COMPANIES LIKE THESE. ✨
Real
fun vid... and this game me some great ideas, thanks!
man thats a sick desk stup ngl big fan of the power supply mounting situiation
Lyle brought those screws over with him while visiting lol Great video!
That little bit of extra space is nice for stuff that is not super magnetic like that screw driver you were showing that wasnt magnetic.
Pretty crazy build
For the PSU just make a thin metal template Drill wholes for screws and voila! mounted the way you wanted it.
inspired! TY!
This is cool Kyle!
managed to make a workbench functional and stylish. nice!
Great video, and great idea.
Glorious desk, my dude.
Kyle, this project is excellent. While some items may be more or less useful depending on your needs, the overall design is brilliant. Thanks for sharing this with us.
When I created my "build" desk I used a similar light for the desk, makes it easy to get light where I need it. Did not bother with a sit/stand, just attached this to my gaming/office desk as an L. For the power I put a clamped power strip on so the power outlets are right on top of the desk, easy to find but out of the way. Has three outlets plus two USB charging ports.
I am looking at two different options for the peripherals. I am currently using a KVM for my work and game rig. Simply moving to one that allows 3 or 4 PCs will mean that only a USB and a display cable will need to be run to the bench. The other solution I am looking at is a portable display, gives me the ability to use it on the go as well if need and store out of the way when not needed. If I go portable display I will just keep a small keyboard and mouse (something cheap) handy.
This is for builds or repairs, not full use so the need to heavily invest is not all that great.
Clean!
You see that episode of the office with Dwight’s Megadesk? This here is an actual megadesk. Thanks for linking all the things! Saw a couple items I wouldn’t mind using for my next build/desk setup.
Awesome workstation. How big is that top, or did I miss it?
I didn't even think to add a cup holder to my desk until just now. Thanks for the Idea.
damn I want this so bad lol. nice job man.
Wasn't able to see how you've got the capture PC connected. You can remote into the capture PC from the main system and so only need one keyboard and mouse and this could free up the 2nd monitor in a sense. Can use a cheap 4 port switch underneath the desk as well.
Hey Kyle, why not use one of the side load PSU’s from Corsair for the test unit?
Nice workbench
You can see the moment the 10th coffee kicked in lol
love your videos!
@10:30 Kyle why dont you use the Corsair RM1000x Shift PSU with the cable on the side of the power supply would be a better option then what your doing with the current one
That second PC needs to be mounted under the desk as well. It would open up the top of the table really nicely. My PC is sitting on top of my desk and every time I look at it I realize I need to mount it under the desk. Its just in the way, and since it has no optical drive I really don't need to access it for anything other than to clean out the cat hair now and then.
Kyle you put the funk in functional lol.
Man, Bitwit isn't a shadow of the channel it once was.
the fact that you do not have a 3D printer , and just 3D printed the hooks is unbelievable
hmm I never even considered this an option...Until now...Thanks for the links!
I shared this with all the people I know. My mom will love it
instead of the coat hanger you could get some cleats they use on boats for rope. Can find those anywhere that has a sporting goods section
Underneath the desk is like super busy bro!!
Please make videos in OBS setup how do you record HDR steaming setup and just recording as it's a bit challenging.
First 5 sec is fire
Hey Kyle if I want the most performance per dollar for a gaming pc what parts should i get please help? Thanks for your help if you cboose to
is that a spyderco mantra? niiiiice choice.
LTT has the magnetic wire mangement that would probably work for the 10 foot cord on the power strip.
Hey to get around that PSU issue you were having, get a corsair shift PSU that way you get it in the orentation that you want and the connectors are on the side. Win Win
Damn first minute is insane in the membrane
Good vid…I have a lazy susan for turning the case front and back on the desk which saves my back from leaning over to see…
Hey brother, I watch all the time, getting pretty close to buying and building my own pc, just wondering if you could do a mid range RTS pc build, it sounds lame I know, but no one has a RTS styled pc build, I play men of war assault squad 2, combat mission, and call to arms just to name a few, and I modd as well but I'm so confused as to which CPU would be best, plus a gpu to pair well etc, every pc build seems to be centred around FPS games, but I need a RTS monster please help
nice sound track I'm sure Robyn would agree Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat. But do keep up the good work at least your movin in the right direction.
Ltt cable management magnets, ltt magnet power extender
That desk is fooking sweet
instead of 2 mice, keyboards and screens you could have just one set and a KVM switch (you'd also have just 3 cables to plug in)
Me Likey. Now i have thoughts for my own desk.
you should rig a power cord extension to the ceiling so you can hook the desk up and move it anywhere in the office without risk of tripping over the cable.
I need to get one of those external power switches. I have an old server PC in a Coolermaster case that has a busted power switch. I have looked for replacement switches but cant find any. An external switch would be perfect.
Also I love Corsair keyboards. That K65 looks sweet!! I have the K68 RGB and it has been a fantastic keyboard, though my experience with their mouse is horrid. I have had 2 Corsair M65 Elite mice that have both quickly developed right click problems. As far as mice, for me, the Logitech G502 is the best available. I just bought a new gaming laptop and bought a second G502 for it, they are outstanding in everyway, but the weight and ergonomics are absolutely perfect for my hand.
10:57 Would a Shift power supply fit better here so the cables are oriented properly?
it'll look cool if you add a talk roof on that so you could hang or put more cables just for backup or maybe you could hang those keyboard, mouse and power cable on it so it would be easier to reach them and plug them in instead of reaching over the table just to grab them and plugging them in. but thats just an idea on top of my head🤷🏻♂️ could be a dumb idea but who knows
Kept expecting Kyle to drop them drawers
your capture PC is better than my dream PC
Linus/LTT ferromagnetic shafts when?
@Bitwit did u consider using a kvm switch to switch between the fresh pc build and the recording pc?
I did! But none of the decent looking ones I found support 1440@240Hz to let me use the Xeneon panel fully. It was still a tough call though

@@Bitwitah make sense
I always use a headlamp when im building a PC. Thats the best way to have both hands free. 🙂
True!
Now these are the types of projects I like to see but it seems expensive 😂
Home depot for the desk do it yourself, look for sales on everything else, you gotta be smart if you don't wanna go broke sir.
I see a straitjacket in the future.. so watch out Kyle.. Nah man fuuk it i love your style..
Get the swift psu with the connectors on the side will fix ur issue
Now we need a lyle review or lyle's build version to compare against. (thinking .....)
That is a very small table for all that stuff. I would want at least double the surface area.
Yeah I agree.
I think that, had YT existed when I was in my 20s (back in the 80s and 90s), I probably would've been every bit as goofy as you are. ;)
9:55 careful you don't want a DMCA strike
when i have my own house and more room, imma build my own work/gaming desk frfr
All that on that desk.. whats the weight limit for lift mechanism? I bet its close or over the limit. It wont last long.
why didnt you use the new shift power supply that has the connecters on the side of the PSU? wouldnt that have been easier.
"i wish it was a little deeper, maybe like an inch or two"
"i wish it was a little more stiff"
"i think thats in"
come on Kyle, i come here to escape reality, not to get it on my face all over again.
also, i think the one handed legend could really use a head or chest mounted camera to become the two handed deity.
One thing I don't really see the need for is 360 AIO for 5700G. The CPU never runs hot enough to require 360 AIO, something like 120mm tower cooler would be plenty and it would be a lot more reliable in the long run.
get a shift psu then the side mount for the psu will mean you can still access the cables
