This entire trial has been hilarious. The State does not have a RICO case at all. They filed a RICO case because they could not get Thug or his buddies without it. The case is extremely weak, they have no evidence that proves RICO. This Prosecutor is a full-blown liar who loves to talk her way through everything if she can. The judge is doing a horrible job at controlling his courtroom, He lets the state run things and he lets the state do whatever it wants he is extremely biased if you ask me.

I can't believe Ms. Love is a DA... I agree, something else must be going on... I it's all about those cheeks... Judge must have been clapping those cheeks and the last couple of days (after he learned she won't reach out to Lil' Wayne) he getting emotional... Judge wants to meet Lil' Wayne... If Ms. Love thinks she can continue behaving the way she has been in that court room, I'm of the belief that this case is headed down a one way street called MISTRIAL Ave. that will sooner or later find itself at the intersection of DISMISSED Blvd. The jurors must be getting pissed off at Ms. Love's efforts - I can't believe this trial is for real.

Max Shart is smart. Hes asking the cop about his report and how its helping him remember the details on the case. And Gaither doesnt have her reports.
Yes that is a good attempt and tactic by the defense but in all reality, to play semantics in regards to the use of the term “I” and “we” in reference to “spraying the tour bus” is insignificant in the grand scheme of things since YSL is already a collection of individuals who almost all of the members are/were affiliated with more widely known gang organizations. So the attempt to separate Pee-Wee’s act of shooting the bus when he personally had no prior beef nor issue with Lil Wayne, while Thug did, in and of itself isn’t going to work on the jury. The link is already being made that the only reason someone other than Thug did the shooting on its face shows allegiance by the other YSL members to YSL and/or Young Thug…it’s going to be quite difficult to make these individual acts of aggression and violence seem to be isolated incidents by each member on their own volition to be self serving. That ship has sailed. I’ll admit the state is doing a terrible job thus far but the evidence itself is so damning, it would be hard for even a novice prosecutor to fumble this slam dunk of a trial.
Yes since Gaither decided she’s above reproach and questioning from the defense lawyers.. which is mind numbing by the way.. Glanville never let Bean or any other witnesses talk back to the state .. but somehow Gaither is allowed to tell the lawyers that she’s already answered the question, and their trying to insult her intellect, and she doesn’t have reports that she clearly stated she had in a recent email correspondence…. Whole trial stinks … Hung jury on the way …

If I was a prosecutor and I had concrete evidence I would want a short trial to get it over with because these guys are going away for years anyways.
But since it’s so drawn out it makes it seem like the state is using this time to build their case and hold the accused for as long as possible with no bail.
@@mr.dschannel8800 some good points but if you’ve watched other trials of this magnitude, it’s chess not checkers. There will be more damning evidence later as to get the defense to believe the prosecution has done their best. You want the most compelling stuff to come into play right before the jury is going in to deliberate so that they don’t forget some of the finer references of evidence in a lengthy court case. This is a RICO not an individual trial. Also, most likely even if the state loses, the FEDS are waiting in the wings to pick it up. The defense is hoping for a mistrial, which in all honestly, could have poss been granted a few times. However you are right abt this, they want to hold the accused in jail for as long as poss bc it’s only a matter of time before they end up in prison ultimately sad to say.
The fact that he said “ so you’re going to sit here and argue with me” Then continues to let her, explains everything about this court.

You might actually be slow so I wont be rude in my response. All I said is why would he need an appeal if hes found not guilty? If hes found guilty then obviously he has grounds for an appeal and I think any reasonable appellate judge will be able to see that and the brief they submit will reflect that.
