What delightful ladies who know doubt have seen it all, heard it all and have navigated through the decades of changing society and regulations. Great video. Thank you.
What a lovely little insight in to a little known group of people. Came across this by accident. My mother used to holiday in Morecambe as a child in the 1950’s and 40’s from Bradford but they always stayed at the Midland Hotel. She is still alive at 81 but we now all live in Australia. I think I last visited Morecambe when we went back with the family around 1976.

I live close to Morecambe and this wonderful little film put a smile across my face, from start to finish. Thankyou.
Thank you so much! We loved making this one. Please share with anyone else you think will enjoy it.
Look at those scones… ❤from Tasmania
This is great, it brings back so many memories. My Mother in law had a guest house on Westminster Road.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film about Morecambe landladies. I would far rather go to one of their establishments than a fancy impersonal hotel.
Pleased you enjoyed it! Thanks.
Really enjoyed this film

Are these women still alive?
