Yuta won’t make a BINDING VOW to recreate gojos absolutely broken ability used during the 1st Gojo x Sukuna fight. If you don’t remember, Gojo creates a remote hollow purple bomb which is effectively a mine. He created orbs of red and blue that when clashed together create a purple explosion. It completely obliterates anything in a certain radius. Sukuna was able to sacrifice his world cutting slashes ease of use in order to have a one use unnoticeable slash that killed Gojo. Gojo could’ve at anytime before Sukuna learned what he needed from mahoraga. Done a binding vow that would allow him to surround Sukuna in a minefield of hollow purples thus returning Sukuna to nothingness. Yuta has the all the memories of watching the fight, mei mei crows, plus Gojos memories to absolutely know all of this. Yuta for some reason won’t just sacrifice something to obliterate Sukuna into oblivion and it’s an absolute joke. This fight should’ve been over as soon as Gojo’s overpowered abilities got a second chance. Apparently this prodigy Yuta was willing to sacrifice everything but for some reason won’t do a binding vow lmao. It’s boring writing at this point. There were many ways to make this story interesting even with Gojo being overpowered. If you want to know any possible plot line that would’ve been cool. Feel free to ask.
no, Gojo was trying to defeat Sukuna without harming Megumi. If Gojo wasn't trying to keep Megumi safe, Sukuna would've been dead before the first adaptation. He is a fraud

And even then that's the meguna form, he speed blitzed blue, gojo/yutas reaction, and bypassed infinity with just domain amp, while being extremely nerfed Gege showed this on the newest chapter and the narrative been showing how different hein vs meguna is It's not even is no letting gojo get anything, it's geges narrative that just tells it how it is @@Weebgamer236
Gojo was improvising at the moment to kill Sukuna as fast as possible while Sukuna was planning from the start to improve his kit with multiple backups
nah, Sukuna would have lost even with world cutting slash, if it was used normally since even maki can dodge it, but Sukuna pulled a binding vow at the last min to catch gojo off-guard, if I have to say gojo has pretty good improvising skills, but goddamn can Sukuna outperform him using binding vows on the spot.
@@Wayvyobi wdym automatically? there will be a spark right before a big attack and the world slash will definitely have it, gojo wouldn't mistake such an attack and take it head-on because of his infinity. All I'm saying is Even Sukuna would have lost if he is bad at improvising in mid-battle (which he isn't)
I think in Sukuna’s case, he does do SOME improvising, but he’s clearly more of a character that quickly analyzes that makes a strategy in response. This is often shown through his analysis and reaction to each of the cursed techniques and abilities he comes across throughout the series. Even in the heat of battle, he’ll formulate strategies on the fly when new variables enter the equation
Good analysis. Although I think the main reason why Sukuna is able to land World Cutting Slash is because Gojo simply couldn't anticipate it harming him. Infinity works automatically after all. Gojo likely saw that Sukuna was gonna launch a dismantle. What he couldn't foresee is Sukuna being able to not only replicate Mahoraga's technique that easily but also seemingly does it without any drawbacks (it's revealed in later chapters how it was done).
He can launch dismantle without moving, which is an insane level of subtraction. Kusakabe couldn't even see it coming (I don't think he even saw the spark?) And he used the binding vow to send WCS in a similar manner once. This likely caught Gojo off guard bc the only other dismantle sukuna sent, he used a finger gun. A very nice feint by Sukuna
Gojo didn’t send that 200% hollow purple to end the fight, he’s a flashy type of dude and just did that to start the fight, he never actually thought that attack would kill sukuna especially from that distance. It’s kinda like getting a feel for how strong he is.
I have to disagree, no one & nothing has ever survived a normal hollow purple , as far as Gojo is concerned a 200% Hollow purple will either kill Sukuna or seriously damage him & he’ll have to use a sh*t ton of CE for RCT plus he gets to gauge how strong Sukuna is so that he can mentally register that he can’t afford to not give it his all. Gojo is the flashy type like you said but I don’t think he’s doing it here. But I could be wrong.
@@InvedianI have to ask, if he was scared don’t you think teleporting to Sukuna’s blind spot before Sukuna realised Gojo has pulled up & using infinite void immediately would stand a chance of ending the fight the quickest? You didn’t factor in that Gojo has a superiority complex.
People miss how much Megumi helped sukuna in the domain clash. From the moment the domain clashes began sukuna had megumi soul adapt to UV. If sukuna had to do it himself he wouldn't be able to use Domain Amplification inside his Domain without affecting the adaption. It wasnt a 3v1 it was a 4v1
The problem with this is because you are implying that Sukuna needed Megumi. He had his body fresh and available, so of course he would take advantage of his elite CT and soul. However even in the vid he says if Sukuna hadn’t risked taking damage from UV, he would have won win Gojo exhausted himself. This indicates that in his Heian form for example, he would win as he wouldn’t have megumi and thus wouldn’t take the risk which basically forced him to learn the World cutter
@@dripg0djv280 people keep saying that, but we have yet to see a technique Sukuna could do (completely devoid of Mahoraga’s adaptation) that could end Gojo lol. The whole point of world cutter was that it was derived from Mahoragas adaptation, which only could have happened with Sukuna using Megumis soul as a dummy

It's not like Gojo was Megumi's surrogate father. I'd bet Megumi knew just about as much of Gojo as Yuji did. And I doubt Gojo shared any weaknesses with him, as if there were any. The only things besides Mahoraga that could bypass Gojo's limitless were cursed tools that Gojo had already destroyed.
@@jase276 I think it's more likely he does. Megumi has known Gojo for 10 years, there's flashbacks shown of Gojo just hanging out with Megumi on his off time, when Megumi was a child. And for sukuna condition he has is transformation which he can use to transform into heian form and send that slash without binding vow.
The main reason Gojo lost was because he lacked information in comparison to Sukuna. Sukuna knew exactly how Gojo's entire kit worked, down to the fact that touching Gojo exempts you from his domain. Gojo knew the basics of the 10S, and possibly that his domain was open, along with the fact that Sukuna has slashing attacks. Gojo couldn't have known that Mahoraga could adapt via someone else taking the hits for it, or that it could adapt via Megumi's soul while Sukuna had his own domain open. Gojo had the better BIQ, H2H skill, technique, and an equally strong domain, he just lacked the information.
Even with that I still think that the Ten shadows, mainly mahoraga was Sukuna's best resource, without it he would've died plenty of times during the fight.
@enenra6417 nah, you can't ignore gojos regeneration feats during sukunas domain expansion. Legit all sukuna needs to be is 0.1 seconds late and bros cooked 😂
If he hadn’t been hit by unlimited void, there is nothing that indicates he wouldnt be able to open Shrine 2 or three more times, as he used the ct brain burnout less than Gojo. As stated in the vid, after Gojo couldnt open his domain, the battle was extended because Sukuna risked getting hit by UV by utilizing his adaptation strategy. This also made him unable to use any ct inside the de clashes, which also contributed. Sukuna in his Heian form wouldn’t have risked this and cooked Gojo
Fantastic analysis. Now I realize that if Gojo simply had more info on the 10 shadows technique he probably couldve won or at least make it to heian era sukuna but, of course, info like that would be impossible for him to obtain because not a single ten shadows user had defeated mahoraga and the only one still alive was posessed by sukuna himself.
@@venotti86 like what ? Aside from IV + doesn't gojo have every single knowledge about 10 shadöws+ bro literally has six eyes , so who was at disadvantage 🤡
one possible theory about open domains could be that Sukuna was the original creator of an open domain, and since whoever he would use it against would die, then information about it would not be common, however someone like kenjaku finding out about, and then proceeding to learn the technique makes a lot of sense considering the type of character that he is
i think it's the opposite, Kenjaku seems to be really ancient, like way before the haien era from some ofthe participants in the Culling games so as a master of barrier techniques himself it's likely either him or tengen was the original inventor of open DE. I think Sukuna might have witnessed him use it and copied it like he did with Gojo's rerouting method.
Nope, we already know Open Domain is a result of BINDING VOW, basically trading the Barrier (to prevent enemies from escaping) for GREATER AREA OF EFFECT of the domain (which will also result in greater amount of Debris to fuel the Furnace)
@@fg009letyrds8 That’s not the case at all. Open domains are literally described as an artist making a painting in thin air rather on a canvas (normal domains) But they explained Sukuna utilized a binding vow in addition to extend his range since open domains give the opponent a chance to escape. Thats why Sukuna’s domain is so broken. Dude made a superior form of domain and then used its one downside as a condition in order to activate massive range as a trade off. Essentially Sukuna cheated the system. And continues to do so to this day because he’s apparently a god at abusing binding vows.
@@zorro8027this is actually a weakness people don't seem to realize gojo could've taken advantage of under the right circumstances during his domain battle with sukuna. if gojo ever left and went for the smart option of attacking sukuna outside the range of his domain until he could catch him in IV and sukuna somehow survived and decided to close off his domain the next time, he would lose the innate advantage his domain has over gojo's since he would be violating the binding vow he made for more range by allowing the opponent an opportunity to escape. basically gojo was probably the only person in the verse who had an answer for sukuna's domain and instead gaygay chose to have him do the sorcerer equivalent of bashing his head into a brick wall over and over again.
I think it would be cool if you made one of these combat IQ videos for the baki series or the kengan Omega series. Since characters in both of those series mostly have to rely on their martial arts skill.
22:36 so the reason the world slash hit GoJo was Cause sakuna made a binding vow that allowed the slash to be instant meaning there was no spark and basically no way to react to it from GoJo that’s why it hit him
I think it may also be the fact that gojo may have sensed it, but like what was the dismantle gonna do with infinity on? So he probably thought infinity would stop the so called slash. Maybe he couldn't react fast enough or maybe he didn't detect it as a threat
@@explosivegrapein a later chapter where it’s explained what the conditions for the world slash are. I forget the number, but it’s after Yuta’s domain goes down.
sukuna is approaching battle with the mindset of “devouring the strongest” whereas gojo already believes he is the strongest. this dichotomy is what framed the entire battle between them. there’s a big difference between wanting to devour the strongest (sukuna) and believing you are the strongest (gojo). Sukuna is a unique villain because his philosophy isn’t framed after being the strongest, he doesn’t care. his goal is to do what he wants and devour whoever he wants. thus why his disposition is expressed as a “chef” in a kitchen. he see’s gojo as a savory delicacy in hopes that it will satisfy his endless appetite to devour everything. remember: demons don’t have rest, and they can’t ever experience satisfaction. they themselves are tormented by a everlasting restlessness. that’s why they endlessly seek pleasures.
Basically without the combination of Yuji, Megumi, 10 shadows, and Mahoraga…… Gojo would’ve won, killed, or draw! Bc he wouldn’t have had the time to figure out how to kill Gojo. Yes, Sukuna still is a beast on his own but without full knowledge of Gojo’s capabilities. Ppl don’t even realize that Sukuna was already kind of familiar with Gojo. Bc of being with Yuji having access to his mind. Forgetting that Gojo explained some of his capabilities in the fight with Jogo. So think to Sukuna fight with Mahoraga now. It took time for him to figure out where as with Gojo who is leagues stronger off rip than Maho. That time would mean nite nite for Sukuna. Sukuna’s real advantage was Yuji and prep time bc he had a vendetta (basically).

Nobody ever talks about Gojo's mental health in that fight. Even if you ignore his whole character up until shibuya , once he got sealed. The prison realm had been mentioned to destroy a person's mind , or at least mess with them. So basically... Sukuna = Prep Gojo = Adaptation (No Pun) Gojo has the edge in battle IQ and overall physical stats. Sukuna however was the better prepper and devilishly put the full potential of the 10 Shadows tech into full throttle. Gojo does things on the fly. Sukuna did his homework. Because let's be real even if Sukuna could figure out a way past Infinity/Limitless, it would of been too late since Gojo's innovative/adaptive prowess would of blitzed and overtaken Sukuna. He legitimately needed Mahoraga to end it quicky before Gojo continued to a more brutal execution or finishing blow. Overall this fight was very much a 50/50. And both took a high risk high reward mentality. Only one was going to come out alive, Gojo knew his win would decide the future of the world, Sukuna knew so long as Gojo Satoro lived his thousand year plan would crumble. Megumi really was that game changer.
Sukuna had no more prep than Gojo, he didn't take Megumi's body to get past limitless, he took it because he was interested in the Ten Shadows. That's shown because Sukuna was interested before he knew about Infinity. He just had a plan, just like Gojo had a plan for him. If Sukuna wanted to kill Gojo without using Mahoraga, he would have just stuck to the domain clashes and kept Domain Amplification on when fighting, meaning that Gojo wouldn't be able to stop Shrine before his DE get's destroyed, and eventually run out of Domains to use. However, Sukuna rather just take those cards away from Gojo instead, and while he's at it get Mahoraga to show him how to get past infinity without a domain. Either way, Sukuna has a plan. >Sukuna knew so long as Gojo Satoro lived his thousand year plans would crumble You might be confusing him for Kenjaku, Sukuna doesn't care for any thousand year plan beyond entertainment. Gojo's brain damage was from destroying & rebuilding his prefrontal cortex, no? Presumably flubbing that final attempt. (Maybe he damaged the wrong part, healed the wrong part, or healed too slowly because his RCT was getting weaker?) Exhaustion from spamming his Domain might have caused the fuck-up, though.
Great video! Something people don’t take into account is that Sukuna went into this fight knowing all of Gojo’s abilities and how his domain works so he had a plan. On top of that he has tons of battle experience from the Heian era whereas the only time Gojo’s ever had to struggle in a fight was against Toji. I think a correction has to be made about Sukuna being able to win via his domain. I think Sukuna understood that his pure domain battle wasnt enough to beat Gojo, which is why he opted to use the Mahoraga strategy. The truth is Gojo's pride refused to take the safe approach and just teleport out of Sukuna's domain effect area as he constantly wastes his CE. Sukuna understood this so he used strat B, then misplaced and ended up at a disadvantage where he had to wait for Mahoraga's adapt to teach him to bypass infinity, which was a gamble and took a serious binding vow to pull off
Gojo can't teleport any time he wants, Kusakabe explained that. This is why Sukuna was in Gojo's face during the domain battles, even tho he could just let his domain do the work. Sukuna gives Gojo 10 seconds to breathe, and he loses.

I think Gojo’s freestyle improvisation during battle with martial art techniques like Wing Chun is interesting to compare with Sukuna’s premeditated long-term planning with his beast-like animal style fighting shows that whoever has the edge in just a split second can win. The methodology of both Sukuna and Gojo complement each other, with one would be more forceful and modernized (Gojo), the other methodical and primal (Sukuna). Great analysis!

Enjoying the video thus far. I believe Gojo vs Sukuna was one of the best fights in shonen canon, but it was one ultimately while enjoyed fans largely misunderstood. First, with the framing. It’s a fight where objectively the strongest in history fights the strongest in current time, but Akutami framed it in a way Gojo could seem superior. This is done visually with him coming in yoked, and Sukuna seeming very slim. However, Gojo’s dress paying homage to Toji evokes the similar symbolism of an underdog facing the heights of jujutsu. Jujutsu is an art of subtraction, and thus - the worlds greatest sorceror is unsurprisingly a man who is constantly subtracting elements to his arsenal, which he uses for various aims-- Strategy, personal pleasure and so forth. An interesting addition this fight has was, it’s dialogue is almost as important as what happens on screen, and you can’t really understand the fight without listening to the analyses by guys like Kusakabe. Without it, you can’t realize how Akutami sets up the finale and the eventual twists. There’s also a minor overlooked aspect: Gojo can’t really see dismantle, he can see the other aspects-- which is highlighted by Sukuna mentioning Maki. This is controversial, but it has been restated that the true benefit of 6Eyes is largely its efficiency and ability to maximize Limitless. It’s visual acuity is more like an ambient infrared, and it’s use is actually taxing.
13:01 what u said is not at all what happened what happened was due to Gojo constantly repairing his burnt out ct after all the domain clashes it pushed his body/ brain to limit which caused him not to be able to due his domain anymore , which Gege drew a imagine showing how badly GoJo Brain was at that time which is why so much boood poured out . Its the same similar reason to why sakuan could do da anymore but It was not only cause he restored his ct through rct to the brain but was cause he got hit with uv that fried his brain As long as the user lets his ct cool down they both can do domain infinite times but they forced it by recover there burnt out rct if that makes sense
sukuna was trying to grow as a sorcerer being REALLY risky as said by gojo himself after his death and during the fight during his monologue, while gojo was just tryna kill sukuna. if sukuna genuinely just wanted to kill gojo, he wouldve used his true form giving him an advantage in a domain clash due to the extra set of hands and the extra mouth, he appeared bulkier and overrall physically stronger which would help him in hand to hand plus his cursed tool. if sukuna just wanted to go for the kill it wouldve been over the first time gojo lost a domain clash and im firmly a believer in that
The glaze is crazy. Miguel proved physical strength is useless against Gojo because he is stronger than Gojo physically. Gojo still hits harder cause his attacks are amped by blue. @@nanayawagyen-kokuro5069 that is under the impression sukuna is normal and would take gojos punches. He will have domain amplification on with his four arms. Then gojos advantage is negated. Sukuna with his extra hand can easily outlast gojo in a clash of domains.
This made me realise that Gege has explaining to do, Sukuna was able to use MS, 10S and domain amp at the same point during the domain clashes, he explained how he could use domain amp domain clashes but that should have stopped the adaptation process aswell, hpwever it was stated it adapted using the five UV opened

@DKing-du6xr I understand this but the only issue is, Sukuna is in Megumis body and so for that to be possible 10S has to be active and in use. Unless you're saying it's not active. But what makes sukuna slightly better is that That he not only uses his own technique effectively but also can use others technique more effectively then thier original users + he can learn new techniques+ improving it + master it at really fast rate He literally learned , improved and master the technique by just watching in like few seconds Cause maharoga was take out right after he cutt gojo hand And both of them were in different situations cause sukuna not only had to deal with gojo but also to deal with rest of the cast but for gojo he only had to deal with sukuna Cause Others like yuta, yuji , maki etc can deal with kenjaku and they did And cause of that he had to relied on 10 shadows cause if he didn't relied on 10 shadows then he would have to use all of his techniques + true form
I personally think we can't come to a conclusion on who is more intelligent than the other due to their circumstances. They both had different resources, so it can't even be measured in the forst place.
I think it is actually possible, they fight differently on a fundamental scale, Gojo is the master of improvisation while Sukuna is the master of strategy. As Sukuna prepared for the fight since chapter 1 basically. Sukuna had a massive advantage against Gojo just because of that, Sukuna knew almost everything about Gojo, but Gojo didnt know almost anything about Sukuna and that was deliberate.
@@MonkeyDEneru The most important factor of the fight was Mahoragas adaptation, there were also questions with Fuga, though I guess Gojo didnt know about that at all, so techincally it didnt affect the fight.
I think it's possible to measure their intelligence, I mean I'm not saying that Gojo is stupid but Sukuna has way more experience than Gojo but Gojo is still a GREAT character in the story of JJK
Yuji was strong because he was born with one of Sukuna fingers, Sukuna swapping bodies doesnt nerf him physically because he transfers every finger to Megumi. Sukuna fighting with his CT and not trying to adapt doesnt give him the win in the earlier domain battles. Sukunas arsenal is not enough to put Gojo down and it was stated that he was never capable of using the fire arrow throughout the entire fight. That would include the first domain. I think you are giving Sukuna too much credit saying he didnt want to think too hard in finding a way to kill Gojo implying he could create some kind of new ability he never had before to bypass infinity and win the fight on his own. Saying Gojo is thinking that Sukuna is healing himself is speculation and has no proof at all. Its pretty obvious when someone is healing themselves because of the tell tell signs. Gojo hadnt seen a single base attack from Sukuna bypass infinity, Maharaga was dead and that was the only other way other than DA and DE to bypass infinity that Gojo knew about. Sukuna was also in no state to do anything that could harm Gojo in such a serious way. It is also the first time Sukuna uses the world slash. Combination of all these things leads up to Sukuna using a sneak attack by using a binding vow permanently nerfing himself to ensure Go/jo wouldnt be able to react and end the fight. We also never learn fully what Sukuna needed to do to use WCS before he nerfed himself. Seeing how he states it was practically impossible to learn and CT have prerequisite that need to be omitted it is more accurate to assume that sukuna would still need both hand sign and incantations before nerfing himself. Which would explain why he would rather nerf himself instead of using his Heian form with the unnerfed WCS because gojo would be able react to it then.
1. STRATEGY: Sukuna knew EVERYTHING about Gojo, and planned the fight for the better part of 6 months. Gojo only knew about Cleave and Dismantle. I won't draw a conclusion 2. DOMAIN EXPANSION CLASH - Sukuna's mastery here is better than Gojo's - Gojo is faster at casting - Gojo DID use blue to "teleport" within Sukuna's domain, so no, he could teleport out if he wanted. He stayed in to discover more about Sukuna's technique - Sukuna loses his ability to expand his domain because of too much damage from Gojo - Gojo loses his ability to expand his domain I think this is a draw 3. HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT Gojo beat the crap out of Sukuna, even while going 1 vs 3 or with 1 arm. Even knocked him out Gojo wins 4. BLACK FLASH Yuji shrugged off Sukuna's Black Flash, and Maki somehow survived it twice, too. Gojo's Black Flash knocked Sukuna out clean Another win for Gojo OVERALL Overall, Sukuna ends up winning the fight, but I think the author seriously downplayed the fact that the fight was a many vs 1, where Gojo was willingly risking his life to see Sukuna's limits. I don't think Sukuna logically stands any chance if Gojo knows about his Curse Technique While Sukuna and Gojo are clearly much better than everyone else, I don't think enough people realise that Gojo is also significantly better than Sukuna at almost everything
Nope sukuna is a better jujustu scorcerer than gojo, he always find ways to improve his technique, for him being stronger was the only goal that's why he is called the fallen while gojo thinks about others and wanted to power up himself for saving other people that's a weakness, we was never meant to win
@@RsES-NR gojo wants to power up ??? don't make me laugh bro . gojo didn't even train hard to improve himself . and 1 month training was all about making other soccerer stronger . gojo is already lonely enough and if he become much stronger then there will be none to catch him . on the other hand sukuna is always trying to take revenge ( latest chap) . that's why he was planning to kill gojo using mahoraga from the start . a man trying to take revenge vs a man who just wants to end his loneliness .
Sukuna beat gojo with a technique that he only had for a month plus. @@DKing-du6xrBro it’s been shown WAY prior to 237 that sukuna’s true form has 4 arms. Even in the beginning of the manga we see sukuna’s real form has 4 arms. Implying that it was coincidental that sukuna’s form has 4 arms is just dumb. Sukuna’s binding vow was he has to use 2 arms to form the hand sign for the slash, he has the use a 3rd arm to point in the direction he wants the slash to go, and he has to use chants. What doesn’t make sense about the slash?
@@slayed9602 you’re clearly the dumb one here because if you read what I wrote, you’d understand i’m not criticizing the binding vow itself. The effects far outweigh the cost, which makes it a plot device simply to make the story progress. I have the right to not be ok with that. Here, I’ll make w binding vow. I vow to always have to wake up at 4 am instead of 6 for as long as I am at my current work place and to never say another curse word at said work place and in exchange my boss will go senile and I will get his position. And there is nothing he can do about it since he doesn’t even know such fatality is coming his way. That’s pretty much what sukuna did. He made a binding vow with himself, which targets a whole other sentient being (one of the strongest at that), and erased him from existence without him being able to do anything about it. BS doesn’t even begin to describe what that was.
@@DKing-du6xr Hope you realize binding vows dont scale with the user. Needing to point while also creating a handsign and chanting as a binding vow just to fire it instantly is an almost insane pay off because no one has more than 2 arms 💀. the fact sukuna used it to his advantage that he has 4 arms in his true form is proof of his IQ and isnt anything but him being better than gojo.
I just picked up JJK and binged the first two seasons. ofc I knew that Gojo vs. Sukuna would go down eventually so I came for the spoilers. One thing everyone should know about anime is that characters like Gojo have to die to progress the plot. They're too powerful and their mere presence on the screen eliminates all sense of danger/tension. Next time you see a Gojo just enjoy him while you can lol.
sukuna knew how to win against him from ep 1 he felt the infinity there and set his goals on megumi from there as soon he got the megumis CT it was already over for gojo
Gojo's battle IQ is capped by the IQ of the mangaka. He could have pulled himself out of the domain with blue, he could have teleported when he wasn't using RCE(or someone else could have done that), could have engaged him in ranged combat, could have opted for comboing with literally anyone that has compatible CT. The hidden wheel and overadaptation were just both complete hacks that shouldn't have been there. Having "you lose" as an ability is a very poor writing. And the eyes got nerfed, it was supposed to have an ability.
Watching this made me realise 2 things 1 Sukuna would won even without Mahoraga since Gojo got brain damaged from overuse but Sukuna got it form Unlimited Void 2 I when i read the chapter i was a little angerd but it was not that Gojo had losed not even that it was offscreen no its because this amazing fight ended

I mean can we blame sukuna or gojo? Gojo hardly had any info on sukunas CT or abilities even the open domain was still a rumor jujutsu high didnt fully believe in. While sukuna had kenjaku and itadoris POV giving sukuna many counterpoints he can try and when he saw mahoraga he just saw the killing blow. Gojo was out there improvising not because he couldnt outsmart sukuna but more so cause he simply didnt have enough information to actually try anything.
I’m not here for debate but I want to make one thing clear. Gojo saying sukuna was holding back and was stronger than him is NOT against his character. Gojo has admitted that people Yuji, Megumi, and Yuta (maybe Hakari but I’m not totally sure) could all surpass him one day. Someone that can’t admit when someone’s stronger than them would not be able to do admit that someone has to potential to be either, especially with the lack of hesitation and ease that Gojo does. It’s been over half a year. Sukuna is the strongest, stop coping.
I think the reason why sukuna won despite having a lower combat IQ than gojo sukuna seemed to have gojo beat in certain other aspects of intelligence. As well as having arguably better resources than gojo had.
@@sugurugeto34 gojo's ego did NOT bring him down 😭😭the end attack practically spawned on top of infinity and was instant, unlike killing sukuna while weakened which would take at least another 10-30 seconds
@@sugurugeto34nah if that was the case the story would have pointed it out that gojos ego got the better of him, but that wasn't the case in the world of jjk ego is what takes you to the top like you stated.
What makes you think he had lower IQ ? Everything planned out how he wanted, he's older by at least a couple centuries, and fought more and stronger era opponents This is just a head cannon based on how well people think gojo did
Megumi’s soul adapting to limitless was the key difference in the battle. I tend to believe more that sukuna could have won even without the 10 shadows, provided he has his own body. However seeing how Gojo improvised in this fight with little to no premeditated finishing plan and seeing how he almost cornered Sukuna at the end made me understand why maybe, just maybe, sukuna really could not afford to not go in with a plan like this. Even this one almost backfired. Sukuna is the goat for real. But man Gojo is something else.
It's not about outsmarting, if you have a fire ability and I have water I just directly counter you, mahoraga is the same way to a lot of gojo's attacks bc he didn't know most of what sukuna could do and sukuna knew everything gojo could do by being in itadoris body Not only did sukuna need full info advantage to win but also a technique that isn't his as he couldn't have won without 10 shadows, and it was still a close fight even tho sukuna had every advantage
You clearly never seen a chess game between two greats. Sure, technically the other one will have an "inferior battle IQ" but that is also a misrepresentation. If the IQ difference is by 1 point then is the gap really that far to warrant calling the other guy's IQ inferior? Also, luck plays a huge huge role in fights. This was no Sukuna vs. Yoruzo where the gap is so big. Gojo stomps Sukuna in hand to hand but Sukuna stomps in amount of curse technique and energy. They both have talent and anybody who says Sukuna is about hard work and Gojo is not has a very inferior IQ next to a snail. They both probably worked as hard (we don't know yet about Sukuna's background as a human or non-human before he became king of curses). Clearly, Sukuna was not born a king of curses (if he did then all the allegations of him as a fraud was true because he was just the better version of Gojo who still has to train). A fight between greats just needs a small window of opportunity to end the fight. Real fights between two great samurai warrior ends in just 1 swing/slash. One just has to be faster by a microsecond. So yeah, it aint that simple. If you really think it was just that, well, too bad this kind of complex writing is not for you. Watch dragon ball fights instead.
I do think that Sukuna "cheating" with the Ten Shadows is both perfectly fitting for his character and for the fact that he couldn't afford to use his Heian awakening until a last resort, as he's getting jumped right after winning. If he didn't have Ten Shadows I'm guessing he would've planned to use his Heian Form way earlier as a way to gain the upper hand in domain clashes and in general battle; having two free hands and an extra mouth when fighting is probably insanely useful when it comes to domain clashes, being able to maintain the Domain hand sign and possibly even use incantations to maintain it further aswell, all the while being able to fight. The downside of being Heian from the getgo is that if it doesn't work out and the battle extends and Sukuna takes damage, even if he ends up winning, he doesn't have a way to refresh himself for the sheer jumping that's about to take place.
the point is that it's not cheating, I don't think there was a rule that said "you can only use your innate technique in this fight" and Gojo knew that Sukuna could use the 10 shadows but he was still sure of winning...
@@Nandomo00literally how do people not get this , sukuna had no choice but to use megumi as a new vessle he was obviously gonna use his CT regardless and if people make this scenario of sukuna without 10s do they realize gojo without prison realm experience has to happen to for the fight to still be equal
@@milesrieger7449 yes he could’ve man that’s why he was disappointed when gojo was gonna die cause he didn’t live up to the title of strongest that he’s been hearing so much
Sukuna won fair and square, but he had a crutch of 10 shadows. Gojo wins against if it was the Hein Era Sukuna since he doesnt have 10 showed simple. End of the debate. Both are GOATS and the strongest. My only complain is how gege showed gojo accepting his defeat in the after life. Saying "he didnt go all out", that was a major bummer for me. We all knew gojo would die so the rest of the cast will have something to do, but the way he 'gave up' his strongest title was clearly Gege's last dig at Gojo since he has hated him from the start.
The whole afterlife thing with Gojo makes me question if anything other than Mahoraga’s adaption could’ve beaten Gojo. Cause with Heian Era Sukuna and his Flame Arrow I kinda feel like there are ways around them. We saw that Flame Arrow it takes a long time to charge up giving time for Ui Ui to teleport some people out of its range so I don’t why Gojo couldn’t either if he had time to. I personally would’ve loved to see a clash between Sukuna’s Flame Arrow vs. Gojo’s Hollow Purple. And with Sukuna’s Heian Era form while it does give Sukuna better H2H, being the perfect body for a sorcerer it gives up Sukuna’s main crux in his plan against Gojo that being the Ten Shadows. So like while Gojo might be disappointed Sukuna didn’t unleash everything he had it certainly wouldn’t have been easy on any front for Sukuna. The only sure fire way to beat Gojo was his Domain Expansion and Gojo after being in the prison realm found his way out of that mess, don’t see why he couldn’t do it again.
He said he felt satisfied having gone all out and had a great battle, and knew Sukuna was just that strong. What was he gonna say "aw man he cheated! :c" on some loser shit. Was graceful in defeat. And him not accepting it makes him look like a bitch/like he'll come back and win the next round (which is super cringe)
@@THED3ADLY7 It's not that difficult, dude. Gojo's limitless can literally make NOTHING touch him. Sukuna's fire arrow would've done NOTHING, which is why he didn't bother use it in the fight. So, no, nothing other than Mahoraga would've beaten Gojo. Which is why Sukuna showed such interest in Megumi the entire manga. That being said, it would've been interesting to see Sukuna actually pull out hidden Heian tech against Gojo.
For me i believe that it is in fact not close as Sukuna is not stupid, he knows for sure that after he defeated Gojo he would still have to deal with the other sorcerers and the chapters have showed us rightfully so, Uraume is kept at bay by Hakari, and Sukuna is attempting to scower through the many “backup plans” that they have come up with, and now he is facing characters who could very well rival so much as 10 fingers of his strength. If he did not have 10 shadows, Gojo dies quicker, and Sukuna gets taken down quicker as well
It makes no sense for Sukuna to be worried about ANYBODY after defeating Gojo. Literally everyone else, Yuuta included, are fodder to him. The only reason the fight is still going on is because of Gojo's damage but even that is wearing off. Yuji hit him with like 10 black flashes in a row and it's doing literally nothing, Sukuna swatted him away like a fly once he got bored. The only person who could MAYBE do something is Hikari because he's immortal but he's playing footsies with Sukuna's caddie.
Based on your explanation, it seems Sukuna’s plan was to let Mahoraga figure out a way to counter Gojo’s Infinite Void, all while he stayed on the defensive and toyed with Gojo. Meanwhile, Gojo was giving everything he had to take Sukuna down. Damn, that’s some strategy from Sukuna!

Exactly, why is no one mentioning this?
The problem with this is because you are implying that Sukuna needed Megumi. He had his body fresh and available, so of course he would take advantage of his elite CT and soul. However even in the vid he says if Sukuna hadn’t risked taking damage from UV, he would have won win Gojo exhausted himself.

Nobody even told Gojo that Sukuna has an open domain or what Mahoraga can do and you want us to believe he had more info in the fight???
one possible theory about open domains could be that Sukuna was the original creator of an open domain, and since whoever he would use it against would die, then information about it would not be common, however someone like kenjaku finding out about, and then proceeding to learn the technique makes a lot of sense considering the type of character that he is
i think it's the opposite, Kenjaku seems to be really ancient, like way before the haien era from some ofthe participants in the Culling games so as a master of barrier techniques himself it's likely either him or tengen was the original inventor of open DE.
@@fg009letyrds8
That’s not the case at all. Open domains are literally described as an artist making a painting in thin air rather on a canvas (normal domains)
But they explained Sukuna utilized a binding vow in addition to extend his range since open domains give the opponent a chance to escape.
Thats why Sukuna’s domain is so broken. Dude made a superior form of domain and then used its one downside as a condition in order to activate massive range as a trade off. Essentially Sukuna cheated the system. And continues to do so to this day because he’s apparently a god at abusing binding vows.
Realistically kenjaku was probably the one who made that
@@zorro8027this is actually a weakness people don't seem to realize gojo could've taken advantage of under the right circumstances during his domain battle with sukuna. if gojo ever left and went for the smart option of attacking sukuna outside the range of his domain until he could catch him in IV and sukuna somehow survived and decided to close off his domain the next time, he would lose the innate advantage his domain has over gojo's since he would be violating the binding vow he made for more range by allowing the opponent an opportunity to escape. basically gojo was probably the only person in the verse who had an answer for sukuna's domain and instead gaygay chose to have him do the sorcerer equivalent of bashing his head into a brick wall over and over again.

So an ass pull then. If Sukuna could throw such a strong attack why wouldn't Gojo be able to get some crazy RCT through a vow?
sukuna is approaching battle with the mindset of “devouring the strongest” whereas gojo already believes he is the strongest. this dichotomy is what framed the entire battle between them. there’s a big difference between wanting to devour the strongest (sukuna) and believing you are the strongest (gojo).

So basically...
Sukuna = Prep
Gojo = Adaptation (No Pun)
Gojo has the edge in battle IQ and overall physical stats.
>Sukuna knew so long as Gojo Satoro lived his thousand year plans would crumble
You might be confusing him for Kenjaku, Sukuna doesn't care for any thousand year plan beyond entertainment. Sukuna just wanted to "eat" interesting or strong people until he dies.

I think a correction has to be made about Sukuna being able to win via his domain.

It’s visual acuity is more like an ambient infrared, and it’s use is actually taxing.

sukuna was trying to grow as a sorcerer being REALLY risky as said by gojo himself after his death and during the fight during his monologue, while gojo was just tryna kill sukuna.
if sukuna genuinely just wanted to kill gojo, he wouldve used his true form giving him an advantage in a domain clash due to the extra set of hands and the extra mouth, he appeared bulkier and overrall physically stronger which would help him in hand to hand plus his cursed tool. if sukuna just wanted to go for the kill it wouldve been over the first time gojo lost a domain clash and im firmly a believer in that
The glaze is crazy. Miguel proved physical strength is useless against Gojo because he is stronger than Gojo physically. Gojo still hits harder cause his attacks are amped by blue. Which would explain why he would rather nerf himself instead of using his Heian form with the unnerfed WCS because gojo would be able react to it then.
the fight was peak in general, no debate on that part
I’m glad that somebody finally understands what Battle IQ really is🔥🔥🔥
1. STRATEGY:
Sukuna knew EVERYTHING about Gojo, and planned the fight for the better part of 6 months. Gojo only knew about Cleave and Dismantle. I won't draw a conclusion
2. DOMAIN EXPANSION CLASH
- Sukuna's mastery here is better than Gojo's
- Gojo is faster at casting
- Gojo DID use blue to "teleport" within Sukuna's domain, so no, he could teleport out if he wanted. He stayed in to discover more about Sukuna's technique
- Sukuna loses his ability to expand his domain because of too much damage from Gojo
- Gojo loses his ability to expand his domain
I think this is a draw
3. HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT
Gojo beat the crap out of Sukuna, even while going 1 vs 3 or with 1 arm. Even knocked him out
Gojo wins
4. BLACK FLASH
Yuji shrugged off Sukuna's Black Flash, and Maki somehow survived it twice, too. Gojo's Black Flash knocked Sukuna out clean
Another win for Gojo
OVERALL
Overall, Sukuna ends up winning the fight, but I think the author seriously downplayed the fact that the fight was a many vs 1, where Gojo was willingly risking his life to see Sukuna's limits. I don't think Sukuna logically stands any chance if Gojo knows about his Curse Technique
While Sukuna and Gojo are clearly much better than everyone else, I don't think enough people realise that Gojo is also significantly better than Sukuna at almost everything
I still don't get why couldn't gojo just use a binding vow for his hollow purple to kill sukuna , or why he didnt go for his head in chapter 229 .

Gojo’s death was a plot armor in the execution. Sukuna is stronger yes. However the world cutting slash connecting makes no sense. Chapter 236 tainted gojo’s character A LOT.
Yes it does. How does it not? Sukuna make a binding vow to weaken it and use handsigns for it everytime he used it after.
@@opsoo2229 so that alone is enough to completely kill a foe who was almost as strong as sukuna himself? And you dare call that fair? Oh and it just so happens that his original form has 4 arms too? You still dare call that fair…
The fact that anyone can cut through infinity would baffle any scientist...
I just picked up JJK and binged the first two seasons. ofc I knew that Gojo vs. Sukuna would go down eventually so I came for the spoilers. Liked the vid, no points of the fight were skipped just to be in favour of gojo. I think its a valid take on the fight.
Watching this made me realise 2 things

Sukuna was always The Strongest
No
The answers simple, gojo is stronger bur he cant win otherwise the series ends.
Why is sukuna hand to hand combating gojo while his domain is literally obliterating gojo.
Isn’t kiting gojo the best choice?
Gojo is probably the fastest sorcerer. If Sukuna didn't put in any pressure, Gojo could just get out of the domain.
Gojo is a loser.
Next video should be on what if sakayangi was in White room
Sorry when someone outsmart you and you die. You're battle IQ is inferior. You're glazing.
It's not about outsmarting, if you have a fire ability and I have water I just directly counter you, mahoraga is the same way to a lot of gojo's attacks bc he didn't know most of what sukuna could do and sukuna knew everything gojo could do by being in itadoris body
Not only did sukuna need full info advantage to win but also a technique that isn't his as he couldn't have won without 10 shadows, and it was still a close fight even tho sukuna had every advantage
@@angrymeowngi keep watching chess.

We stuttering with this one 🔥
Bruh. Gojo loses even faster without mahoraga. It wouldn't go past the domains, at the third one gojo is down.
You really need to watch your videos before releasing them. You repeated lines like 5 times
If he did not have 10 shadows, Gojo dies quicker, and Sukuna gets taken down quicker as well
thinking about that have been what happened
