@@davimedina5165 you will be surprised how burdened people can become from getting overwhelming freedom and power. After all the only one that can free you and make you self centered is you alone xd
His attachments to the people around him made him want people who he could relate to/understand him. Instead of embracing his power he saw it as a burden he had to bare. He had to bare the weight of the world on his shoulders. His death served to free him from such constraints. Regardless of if you dislike how Gojo vs. Sukuna went, you can at least appreciate the fact Gojo was at least satisfied in the end. Sukuna on the other hand suffers from no such constraints. He’s the one that brings the world to its knees.
I'd argue the opposite. Gojo is so detached from the world that once you destroy that distance, he can be pulled back to the Earth and made ordinary. I interpret it as Gojo died content because he died like a human, doing his best like any other human.
@@MahiMahi-yu5joNot so detached to me, he sought the kind of love that any ordinary human would want for themselves. For someone to understand and connect with, in Gojo’s case it’s fighting strong opponents. Also Gojo most likely grew up loved by his family, something Sukuna never had. That’s the biggest difference in how they approached life..
@@savonsanders8684Regrets how? He asked his teacher I thought no sorcerer dies without regrets. He died like a warrior samurai which exactly how he had wanted to go…
The parallels between the Gojo v Toji and Gojo v Sukuna fights were interesting, with the first being Gojo’s outfit being almost an exact replica of Toji’s followed by the way both of them died-completely caught off guard by a 1-shot attack that the user had just unlocked they didn’t have a chance to react to. You could also see Toji’s and Gojo’s complacency with their level of power causing their deaths because they didn’t keep pushing themselves.
Gojo´s biggest mistake was not prepping more for the fight, had he learned a aditional CT and trained domain amplification he could´ve at least forced Sukuna into Heian form.
@@sebastiaogaiolas9739 Gojo couldn't do that because he was the strongest and was going to battle the other strongest, Sukuna. he didn't have a mentor or any seriously threatening event since Toji which would allow him to push more. I appreciate that you've brought Kashimo's case to a major extent, i felt his purpose was lacking upon his defeat after such a focus on him in the culling, Kashimo and Jogo's end makes way more sense now.
i have mixed thoughts about the negative comments on this video, while it's true that gege's execution on the "strongest" mindset seems unclear and confusing, i think you've built up enough evidence that the video isn't "too far fetched" and seems accurate that it was gege's initial plan for these characters. it's just a odd pace to run 2 death (gojo + kashimo) in some form of "afterlife" scenes within just 3 chapters to explain it all, like it was just forced out, but at least it's all wrapped up and jjk will focus on the true end.
Thank you so much! & I thought the same, but I've noticed that Gege writes very very vague and then some things said or done in the past make more sense as the story goes on; I've always kept an eye on the character of Daido specifically so when I reread his chapters for the 10th time and noticed his dialogue almost matched Sukuna's word for word in the recent chapters I started to think about it more and more 😅 And honestly don't worry about the negative comments, I ignore them And the deaths are pretty quick, but we are in the Culling Game so I'm expecting people to die left and right
@@zenitsuthunder3946 cause i don't think gojo was looking for a "answer" as a strong character, nor was seeking sukuna's wisdom, gojo's goals was clarified a long time ago and already have beliefs stronger than kashimo and jogo
When Sukuna said that Gojo is just an ordinary guy born in an era without him, it doesn't mean that Gojo is weak. It means that Gojo potential wasn't fully manifested. Sukuna was born in an era where conflict is an every day thing. Especially in an era where curses and sorcerers were in it's prime. Gojo was born in the modern era where most curses are weak, even with the buff given to them when Gojo was born. The battle between Gojo and Sukuna is where Gojo truly shine and gain experiences as he fight but sadly, his opponent was just too experienced. Sukuna was actively fighting during his prime, Gojo wasn't, he was kept at the back because of his special grade status and doing nothing to gain experience mainly due to his status and the higher ups. Sukuna is literally a veteran.
That also explains how he grew so much during the fight. Restoring burnt out ct with rct, chsnging domain conditions, using vows/ chants to rnhance his attack/ mastering black flash. Meanwhile sukuna was only really copying mahoraga. Gojos potential was acc insane
The thing which separates sukuna from other sorcerers is that he is incredibly talented. He was born weak but with his intelligence and hunger for knowledge and power he became the strongest being.
I think one possible reason why Sukuna finds Yuji boring is because of his mindset. Maybe it's just me, but I feel Yuji's ideals is very similar to Emiya Shirou's. Not to the finer details, sure, but just like Shirou, Yuji's wish for people to not die meaningless death is one that pushes him down the path of ensuring the needs of others over his own. He's essentially "empty", his desires are not his own. Which is the exact opposite of Sukuna, and frankly the exact opposite of the philosophy of jujutsu (where you need to be a little selfish at least). Why Sukuna doesn't seem to feel the same boredom towards Megumi is up for the debate, considering Megumi also puts others way before him to the point of self-sacrifice being his most prevailing trait.
I think Megumi is instinctively selfish and wishes to reach absolute strength just like Sukuna, but won’t admit it that he does, so he overcompensates for it with self-sacrificial behavior. His insecurities and love he has for people he cares for, holds him back from being like Sukuna. We’ve seen what he is capable of when he loses those insecurities and starts thinking for himself selfishly, as Gojo recommended.
@@Ouchthathurt843 He becomes another Gojo, Megumi had the potential to reach Gojo´s level, with the right mindset, Domain and Mahoraga usage, unfortunately he failed all 3 and became Sukuna´s puppet.
Damn now I really wanna see Yuji inheriting Mahito's idle transfiguration and turn sukuna into just an ordinary human just to see him cry XD. Imagine losing to someone who you considered beneath you would be cool to see ngl.
Gege left it ambiguous on who’s truly stronger. It’s like y’all ignore this. Gojo said that Sukuna didn’t give his all. Sukuna implied he needed Mahoraga to breach infinity. But what’s a fact so far is that Gojo wins every domain clash if there is no Megumi. Unlimited Void Targets EVERYTHING inside of the domain. Malevolent Shrine targets everything inside the domain EXCEPT Sukuna. Their sure hits cancelled each other out, BUT the sure hit of Unlimited Void still targets Sukuna, so to counter that, he used Megumi’s soul. It’s literally stated in chapter 230. You can argue that Gojo held back as well. You can argue that Sukuna would find another way around Unlimited Void. We just don’t know
Literally false bc sukuna didn’t put his full strength in killing Gojo with his domain since he was trying to find the way around infinity literally in one of there domain clashes Gojo wonders why sukuna is taking the riskier option to destroy his domain and to avoid Gojos domain you have to be close to him touching him anyway so your reason is false that Gojo would win every domain clash even if he didn’t have megumi try again
The win con for gojo was causing enough damage to sukuna to force a collapse, what you gojo fans are missing, is that heian sukuna outscales a gojo who was slightly superior to meguna, when it’s shown, that heian sukuna was indeed faster, stronger, and more lethal than his meguna self. Gojo isn’t hitting UV vs a sukuna who is relative to his own slashes in speed, be serious.
Have to disagree. Especially after the kashimo fight, he’s making it clear that sukuna, all 3 forms, are just a cut above everyone else, including gojo.
@@D2022Stap yup exactly this, sukuna is relative in speed to his own slashes in his heian form. Which gojo was shown 3 times not being able to react to, chapter 224, vs mahoraga’s slash, and then his death. Sukuna beats gojo inside the DE in h2h if he could use DA the whole time, which no maha, he would.
So the theory I currently have is, since Sekuna said "I was unwanted" and was born during a time of constant battle, that is probably why he is the way he is, specifically that statement implies that he never had friends, he had enemies, he never had loved one, he had people who wanted him dead. As he grew stronger he saw that people wished to test themselves against him and he saw that as a type of love, people wishing for his acknowledgement of their strength. Growing up unwanted surrounded by people who would kill him without a thought, made him not desire people or particularly care for them, and with them wanting to test themselves against him that gave meaning to him, being strong meant people would rest themselves against him, and would mean he wouldn't have to worry about being killed, and once he became the strongest he reveled in it, he says himself that he does what he wants when he wants to who he wants, and he can do that because he's strong.
Another key distinction between Gojo and Sukuna lies in the fact that Gojo has a multitude of individuals he deeply cares for. If he were to fully embrace his cold, logical side and sever those connections, the potential power of his second awakening could be truly astounding.
The fact that Sukuna took the risk to literally learn how to surpass the limitless with his own power DURING the fight shows why he was so impossibly strong. Mans is grinding for that Damascus camo in ranked.
@@QriousKoderyoure insulting someone for using his own damn powers that he developed and yes diddling the balls of someone who has to use a teenagers body to even have a slight advantage. Make it make sense.

@@prajjwaltiwari8644 Delusion. Gojo worked incredibly hard to make it to the top. The guy literally perfected limitless, which nobody in his clan was able to do before him, and even mastered being able to DE multiple times a day. Gojo is the strongest because he worked hard to get there.

Sukuna having wisdom and such an interesting view on life and nature makes him so much more than the "big bad", he's so insanely interesting and respectful in his own way, he doesnt enjoy mocking his opponents whom he considers equals, Sukuna acknowledges how human nature is, it's how he was able to beat Gojo, Sukuna knows humans on such a deep level, whereas Gojo remained in complete ignorance, lacking the wisdom Sukuna had.

That is one of the reasons why I find Sukuna to be fascinating...he doesn't really want something more or to find a purpose bigger than himself which is something most people try to find...Sukuna would rather enjoy to present and in that way understands others better than those who seek a greater purpose...
Gojo lost not only to Sukuna but to Kenjaku and to Toji because he was human. The second he thought about Amanai and got worried was when he dropped his guard and Toji went in. The second he saw Kenjaku as Geto he couldbt help but freeze on the spot enough to get sealed. Even though it wasnt at the forefront by the end of the fight with Sukuna, Megumi was on his mind and his self desire to be seen. Sukuna has no need of human emotions and we ve already seen he can do anything he want without remorse just because he enjoys it. The same can be said for Kenjaku, he doesnt have the human weakness well not anything we ve been shown anyways. They both must have a weakness and I think for Kenjaku its tied to Tengen...
Gojo lost to everyone. “Na I’d win.” He said that to everyone and they all believed in him. Gojo not only lost to sukuna and kenjaku, but lost to himself by his word.
@@lwkkkdamian iirc I think during the 13 chapters theres a point he admits he no longer was so sure he was going to win, like he was questioning himself. And that kind of made him weaker because in his mind he felt already defeated regardless if he was giving it his all and having fun. You can say his confidence hed win went down the longer the fight went on because he couldnt wrap his head around what Sukuna was really planning and he couldnt attack him directly when he was busy with Maho Agito. And honestly those are very human emotions of uncertainty and there was still Megumi to think about. Ima go revist the chapters, there are subtle notions withing the drawings and words that werent as prevalent as the physical fight itself
@@markmiller6111 these gojo fans are stupid if sukuna had at any point took his 4 armed form in that fight gojo would be cooked(because he'd kill him during the first domain expansion fight but never have developed his space cutting slash)
Throughout their first encounter, Sukuna displayed incredible adaptability and a strategic mindset, allowing him to exploit Gojo’s weaknesses despite Gojo’s formidable abilities. Sukuna used his experience, technique, and timing to gradually wear Gojo down, showing he is more than just raw power; he is a master of timing and efficiency in battle.
I love how you describe how Geto way of changing and his death changed Gojo as a person and as a sorcerer. Geto was definitely Gojo’s moral compass. Rip to Geto Suguru.
I feel like Gojo could never reach the heights of Sukuna because he was too human. Sukuna is a calamity, who routinely refers to humans and curses in a derogatory fashion, that is because he believes he is above them, and in some regards he is correct. Gojo stagnates somewhat because he wants to and pursues being the strongest but recognizes that this alienates him from humanity. Thus his desire to raise others to his level. Sukuna embraces his search for strength and this separation from humanity, not because of some underlying desire to be the strongest, but his unquenchable desire to maintain his AGENCY. This is also why Sukuna outright loathes Yuji, as his status as perfect vessel amounted to a cage. A rejection of the only thing Sukuna actually cares about, his freedom to do what he wants, when he wants to. It is interesting that Sukuna doesn't even care that he will eventually die... just so long as he can chomp - both metaphorically and actually - on humans until he dies. Note also that I think the complexities of Gojo's character and the fact he is NOT like Sukuna actually makes him a much better character. A symbol for the students to follow that could lead to a better world, where as Sukuna's path leads only to devastation in his wake.

@@eonragnarock2366 He isn't a fraud at all. He didn't even need Mahoraga, he just wanted a way to one-shot Gojo instead of putting effort in. It was also revealed that Sukuna could've turned into his Hiean era form at any point during his Gojo fight but he chose not to; if he did that means he would beat Gojo in every domain clash since he can use his stomach mouth to chant, it'd also mean that he beats Gojo in hand to hand since 4 hands is better than two and hes also physically stronger in that form rather than being in Megumi's frail ass body. A lot of things just point to Sukuna being the stronger one and him holding back against Gojo so they can have a more fun fight.
@paroxysm6437 I've read the story with no bias unlike yourself and knew that Gojo would lose eventually. However anyone that thinks that Sukuna could have won without Mahoraga is delusional as fuck. First and foremost, Sukuna did hold back in that fight in terms of his actual body and weapon. However, nothing else he had was gonna do anything to Gojo. The freaking reason as to why he needed Mahoraga was to bypass infinity since none of his moves could do it. Angel and Gojo state that Gojo went all out. Now, this is the most confusing part of this. Re-reading the entire fight, you can clearly see that Sukuna does hold back in terms of trying to figure out infinity. However, you can also see that Gojo himself is handicapped even more than Sukuna. Megumi being there was used for emotional state while also being the punching bag,Gojo, the entire fight is held back by the knowledge that if he spams infinity, Mahoraga will adapt quicker,. This right here is seen in the fight itself as Mahoraga only starts to adapt to blue, and Gojo realizes that even if he uses blue, Mahoraga still adapts but slower. Gojo only used Red 4 times in the actual fight. True we don't know how many times can he cast purple or red, but if it would have been all out Gojo would have used hollow purple more. And Sukuna himself says that he can barely withstand the power of hollow purple and had to resort to use megumis body. Overall to me this battle proved that Gojo was the strongest while Sukuna is the smartest. Only times Gojo used Red: 226 , 232, 233,235
@@eonragnarock2366 sukuna is not a fraud. He knows what he need to do to fight against Gojo, and he did it, like he always plan. Its called preparations and strategy. when the fight got halfway through and the fraud memes started occurring more and more, i was just thinking that Sukuna was simply using Gojo as a teaching lesson for himself. And tbh when you think of it like Gojo was "teaching" Sukuna how to slice through infinity through a sparring match makes the ending of it a bit easier to comprehend. But either way, gotta wait for the big cat to say what his reason for it was when the series is over
Sukunas' just different, personal theory here but we know Sukuna respects peoples mindset, even if they can't match him in strength (unless you're yuji). Maybe the Heian era was such a ruthless and shitty time to be in to the point where Sukunas' conclusion from it was that everyone is just garbage and the only way they can prove themselves otherwise is through combat at this point. That could be why he doesn't have any expectations for anyone but he still gets joy out of fighting and pays homage to the strong, because the people he probably had any connections to outside of fighting may have just consistently disappointed or been terrible to him to a point where he now has no interest in conversing with the average person using words alone anymore
Of course we don’t know much about sukunas backstory but I think gojo never had the chance reaching sukunas heights cause being born as the strongest and getting that kind of upbringing was the limiting factor for the limitless man all along If nothing is a challenge to you does anything come easy for you or aren’t you aware of how difficult things could be?
He died to a plot. Man's whole thing was literally "be untouchable", there is no "higher" than that He cant be stronger after reaching use of infinity 24/7, because there is just that. He become invincible, and whole villians plotting was about to how bypass it

I have come to similar conclusions on sukuna’s perspectives and therefore his narrative purpose. I just find that his place and framing by gege as a ‘dark’ divine-a kind of Buddha that revels in all things without anguish for life’s struggles, but including especially evil acts-makes me suspicious. His consistency is broken in his perspective on yuji…unless yuji represents the opposite of these ideas. I wonder if yuji’s shoen character morality and cog like self perspective may represent a sukuna of the past. It is possible that sukuna’s self rationalization has allowed him to ignore his own inconsistent view of yuji, like so many evil characters do when it comes to the flaws in their motivations.
Yuji whole being is opposite to sukuna...sukuna was a unwanted child but he struggle and survive through hardship but Yuji who was born with everyone ( friends family etc ) want to give his life away...and many other things....I think that why he hate him
Sukuna is complete selfishness. He lives to satisfy his desires, and barely anything else. Yuji is complete selflessness. He's just a cog, just a tool that kills curses. True,as sukuna said to Kashimo killing those who challenges him is his way of showing love essentially he grants their wishes of challenging him,it doesn't come from malicious intent. Guilt only works if one feels they've done wrong to others.
You're both woefully mistaken. The law applies to those who feel they're in the wrong AND to those who feel they're in the right. sadly when Gojo had the chance to evolve and learn rule breaking discoveries, it was too late. He fought a Sukuna who experienced high level fights and pulled unbelievable techniques to keep surviving. unlike gojo who only mastered his own techniques but never once created something like sukuna can, cuz most of his fights before sukuna aren't as threatening as this
My problem isn't the fight itself, it's what happens afterwards. Suluna kills Gojo after what everyone assumes was a pretty close fight. Then Sukuna reveals he had a ritual to bring himself back to heian form, out of NOWHERE, Gojo himself states that Sukuna was holding bavk which undermines his WHOLE INFLUENCE in the Jujutsu world, the whole army of Jujutsu sorceres throw themselves at him to kill Sukuna and he keeps going as if nothing was hitting him despite being hit with the Soul Plit katana, Soul Cleaves, another Purple, Jacob's Ladder... it just seems like Gege didn't have any consideration for it's characters and doing them justice, while Sukuna kept being higher and higher balled by the writing. Gojo was undermined, the whole Jujutsu school was undermined, everyone was undermined in favor of Sukuna, who got progressively stronger every chapter we read through. These were some of the most painful chapters to read, not in a good way.
I think you misunderstood sukuna wasant holding back his heian form meguna was doing that in order to adapt to gojo abilities making megumi soul take the hits and pulling out mahoraga is not holding back he was dead after first unlimited void if this was yuji sukuna Meguna> heian era sukuna
@untic9552 and yeah, he wasn't. He just wasn't using everything he had, because he didn't need to. Which still confirms my point that Gojo wasn't anything but a hustle for him, and a means to evolve his technique instead of a worthy fight. "You cleared my skies" makes no sense, Sukuna barely had to work in that fight, most of thenwork was done by the shadows and he stood on the background watching until it was the perfect time for him to act.
Awesome video and I like your thoughts on the subject. I was disappointed that Gojo lost in the way that he did, however, after your video and perspective I see it differently now. I don't think you're overthinking it as you mentioned either.
I know why sukuna is bored by yuji. It’s because yuji doesn’t care about being the strongest. He doesn’t care about sukuna, he doesn’t worship him or respect him. Yuji is a pure soul and that’s why sukuna hates him, it’s because he’s afraid of him deep down. If you really think about it, the only person who stands any chance to break the chain of “seeking importance from sukuna” is yuji.
And the latest chapter prove that Yuji still see Sukuna as family even he still hate and pity him which make Sukuna goes mad at Yuji being so human and it makes him want to puke that kind of weak human emotion.
Sukuna showed more humility throughout the series then gojo did, that's why, sukuna is like a Buddhist monk who achieved nirvana but got stuck in ashura at some point Gojo was never quite there at achieving nirvana he almost did , but he didn't quite get there
Sukuna is just a psycho, a powerfull maniac After first appearence his first lines is about to go and butcher some civilians There is no humility, he's unhinged lunatic that likes the sound of his own voice
Humility? Sukuna? We talking about the same guy who as they keep mentioning over and over that "there is no one more conceited. He lives by his own interest and disinterested". The same guy who literally admitted that he reincarnated over the centuries for the sole purpose of toying and snacking on people? Don't get me wrong, Sukuna's a cool villain and he at least acknowledges strength where it's deserved...and that's literally the best you can say about him. Sukuna is a hedonist brought to its logical extreme. Humility doesn't exist in his vocabulary.
It's funny how sukuna says he is not like gojo in that he doesn't feel lonely but i think its sukuna masking his lonely through being strong . The story states that in the Heian era sorcerers became stronger thru fighting sukuna . Where as in current time sukuna has not immediately killed anyone without scrapping with them first as a sense of "fun" . He is in search of someone which is why he left yuji alone he doesn't praise yuji because yuji doesn't emulate his power until something is lost . He praises an awaken maki but choses to not kill both when given the opportunity ,instead he let them live to scold yuji through laughter . He refers to yuji as a brat ,usually brats are spoiled and unappreciative like yuji was in shibuya until he considered himself a COG . Being a piece of the bigger picture intead of being the picture .
Nope you don’t learn just like all those other dead characters putting labels on him and “assuming” and he’d allow it because it’s your delusion it doesn’t matter to him
alot of this info went over my head, despite the purposeful setups laid out from JJK 0, Gojo Gaiden, and the lead-up fights (and supporting characters) to the gojo vs sukuna smack down. thank you for breaking down Sukuna. in hindsight, Sukuna was really deliberate and careful with his movements. chaos and battle seems to really run through his veins.
Seems like Sukuna is the only one who is truly enlightened in this world. That Gojo was never truly enlightened, displacing this by asking if he should kill everyone in that cult. I don’t think Gojo was actually enlightened. Only after Sukuna killed him did he become enlightened. Seems like sukuna brings enlightenment to others in his own way.
I think it’s more like Gojo rejected enlightenment. In his honored one moment, he was actually strikingly close to Sukuna’s behavior. He didn’t feel any emotions thinking about others, and was exclusively aroused by his love for himself and the world he gets to inhabit. Killing Toji left the realm of revenge and became a mere action of self-affirmation. He’s not even feeling vengeful-he just kills Toji because he wants to. And despite that, we never see him act like that again in the series. Following Geto’s defection, he begins grounding and humbling himself around others, rather than doubling down on the self-oriented mindset he found. Whether this was right or wrong, time will only tell-but it certainly didn’t help his future potential to defeat Sukuna in Shinjuku, aside from a cool Prison Realm domain trick.
Though Sukuna's supposed enlightenment is chaos and calamity because of his lack of humanity. There's a cost to it and Gojo didn’t want to sacrifice his humanity.
Also, I hope the reveal with Sukana when it talked about his deformation giving him advantages means he masters his disabilities/deformations and was born disfigured and attacked for it and became stronger
love your idea, yeah he's weaker because he focused on others more, which is fine, because those efforts are how they're gonna wipe both Sukuna and Kenjaku in the end
Gojo never truly embraced the ridiculous power that he was bestowed. That power became a burden for him since it created a line between himself and others. Basically, gojo is a chad with a good heart. He’s not soft, but is considerate. Whereas sukuna fully embraces his power and considers it the difference between what he his, a superior being, and others, who are all below himself. Hell, I’m even convinced that somehow, gojo was holding back during their fight ever so slightly, because of megumi’s body and soul. I wonder how gege will deal with sukuna though. I’m very excited to see how sukuna will meet his demise. Will it be brutal? Philosophical? Emotional? Or all together?
I hope Gege is cooking by giving Yuji the relentless determination / righteousness factor of becoming the strongest. There are different dynamics to being the strongest, even irl, imo. Soldiers at war for example... sometimes it's not the sheer amount of cruelty that wins the day but the ruthless love for friends and family that justifies any means of victory in your mind. Sukuna does represent the ideal standard, selfishness, confidence, natural skill etc. However, I hope Yuji is finally given his moment to shine and surpass him and Gojo by proving that his suffering and sheer hatred for curses (even if flawed and somewhat disturbing) allows Yuji to simply let go and prove that he can reach any height of power if it means killing curses.
Gojo weakness is humanity, which isn’t a knock. If he just Unlimted Voids everyone in Shibuya the series is done😂 Sukuna would have done that. That’s the difference.
I'd say that while Sukuna won the fight, Gojo is still the most talented sorcerer between the two. Sukuna had many advantages: more experience (a LOT), all the info on Gojo's techniques (red, blue, purple) and domain, Mahoraga (specially the specific knowledge about how his adaptation worked, which ultimately gave him the win). Meanwhile, Gojo entered the fight knowing almost nothing about his rival. He didn't know how many techniques he had, he didn't know how his domain worked (particularly the open barrier thing), and most of all he didn't how the 10 shadows technique truly worked (and Mahoraga's adaptation ofc). Gojo relied on his instinct and talent in order to keep up, and he even managed to corner Sukuna. As another comment said, Gojo wasn't able to realise his full potential, due to being born at an age of much weaker sorcery compared to the one Sukuna was born into. Just imagine how much more stronger and complex his domain would've been had he gotten to experience the golden age of sorcery (surely he would have been capable of an open barrier domain), how much stronger and faster his techniques would be, and all the knowledge and understanding of cursed energy, specially with the 6-eyes. Still, as of now, we can only say Sukuna is the strongest, because he won. But if Gojo comes back (copium lmao), he might be able to beat him (if he doesn't lose his CT or anything ofc).
Gojo was able to realise his full potential, he literally admitted that he put his all into fighting without holding back , this fight was the peak of his power
@@leen908 You can fight with all you can and still improve, Gojo can still improve like Sukuna does, hell Sukuna learned a new technique of his own in his fight with Gojo and Gojo was using more inventive ways of utilizing his limitless and he still could’ve gone further, this is not to say he would for sure beat Sukuna as you can say the same for Sukuna improving again.
I agree! I went through a similar mental exercise not to long ago. We see Sukuana represented as the pinnacle of ideology that is born from cursed energy, a king. So what comes next? Kenjaku saw Sukuana, and was also not satisfied. We really only have two paths from here. Either he was flat out wrong, and fails. Which would result in the story most likely ending. Or he succeeds and brings about, "something more." The implications that come from that desire are astounding. Sukuana may be the strongest, but he is not the most knowledgeable. Kenjaku showed Sukuana how to turn into a cursed object. I think Kenjuku didn't know what the result would be, and is the reason why Sukuana's form was as powerful as it was. However, Kenjaku ran his experiment, and decided it was not enough. It follows that Kenjaku believes that there is more than just this philosophy brought about by cursed energy. Simply living to meet one's desires. The Curses say it around him all through the first few arcs, and they are laid to waste by his plans.
Facts i dont know why i didnt realize this until now like The majority of the Gojo vs Sukuna fight was basically just Gojo reacting to everything Sukuna was throwing @ him
Exactly why people acting as if this fight wasn't 2vs 1 or some point 3 vs 1 is beyond me. Yes it's completely justified in taking advantage any way in a war but why people acting as if sukuna could beat gojo in 1 vs 1 fight without plot armour is absolutely hilarious. Like they didn't saw what happened till 235 and only reacting to the Bulls*** in 236. Gege had to kill off gojo just because how powerful he made him
The only thing that makes me sad about the final of Jujutsu Kaisen, is that it's only now at the end that we're getting this development from Sukuna. In 3 chapters Sukuna became the coolest character for me. Sukuna reminds me a little bit of Daemon Targaryen in fire and blood, I wish we could see more of heian Sukuna. So sad he's gonna be defeated by Itadori😪
I don't care what anyone says, if Sukuna didn't have his last resort reincarnation revive, he was done, the damage from Gojo would have been enough for Kashimo, Yuta or whoever to just kill him. It was close.
Absolutely, I don't think anyone disagrees that despite everything, it all came down to a very close fight. It's just that Sukuna decided to approach this fight a certain way by holding some of his cards in his chest, and Gojo likely surpassed his expectations and the fight turned out to be way too close.

Not only is that cliché af, it doesn’t even apply to Sukuna. It would’ve been impossible to survive in the Hein era without the determination and drive to get stronger. Yuji’s weak because his mindset is weak. Mahito literally said this while beating the SHIT out of yuji
@@xenoemblem7 Yuji’s mindset literally changed. He accepted Mahito’s words but still twisted it to fit his still flawed mindset. Yuji’s fight with Sukuna will show us whether or not Yuji finally changed his philosophy
all this talk in the fandom about how great is Sukuna's mindset and blablabla only for him to be most likely defeated by the most humble, selfless and "boring" sorcerer alive. Oh im gonna enjoy it so much
The reason he is not on his level is because gojo reached the limits of a human body. Not his limits, but the humans body limit. While sukuna broke the limits of his human body by modifying it, towards the goal of making his body a perfect body for jujutsu.
My thought on Sukuna thinking yuji is that yuji’s “flavor” or what make him unique is so far beyond his realm of understanding that he doesn’t care. Almost like not thinking about the termites outside your house but they end up destroying your home before you put a thought into it.
The story kind of demanded gojo lose the fight we knew it was coming. What I didn’t like was the way they tried to distance sukuna and gojo after the fact, having gojo say sukuna would’ve won without ten shadows anyway even when the entire fight beforehand showed the opposite, a very sudden and abrupt ending that had more explaining than it did showing how it actually happened which is ALWAYS a bad thing “show don’t tell” applies everywhere. It was a very unceremonious end to one of the best fights in modern manga all in favor of propping sukuna up more when it wasn’t necessary cuz he was already the pinnacle. Again it also felt pretty weird cuz they tried to imply that it wouldn’t have been a contest regardless of megumi’s technique when through the whole fight it’s what kept sukuna in it, it feels like a backtrack to make him look better.
For me it’s the same as jiraiya saying pain would win if he knew the secret of the six paths, I’m cool with gojo dying but the whole “he might beat me without ten shadows” is dumb

@sebastiaogaiolas9739 It would have worked against the plot and the other Sukuna form seemed to be reserved for Kashimo I guess.

I appreciate that you've brought Kashimo's case to a major extent, i felt his purpose was lacking upon his defeat after such a focus on him in the culling, Kashimo and Jogo's end makes way more sense now.
i have mixed thoughts about the negative comments on this video,
while it's true that gege's execution on the "strongest" mindset seems unclear and confusing,
i think you've built up enough evidence that the video isn't "too far fetched" and seems accurate that it was gege's initial plan for these characters.
it's just a odd pace to run 2 death (gojo + kashimo) in some form of "afterlife" scenes within just 3 chapters to explain it all,
like it was just forced out, but at least it's all wrapped up and jjk will focus on the true end.
Thank you so much! & I thought the same, but I've noticed that Gege writes very very vague and then some things said or done in the past make more sense as the story goes on; I've always kept an eye on the character of Daido specifically so when I reread his chapters for the 10th time and noticed his dialogue almost matched Sukuna's word for word in the recent chapters I started to think about it more and more 😅
And honestly don't worry about the negative comments, I ignore them
And the deaths are pretty quick, but we are in the Culling Game so I'm expecting people to die left and right
Why did Sukuna talk to kashimo/Jogo in the afterlife after killing them. But not Gojo?? Gojo is prob still alive
Exactly why sukuna wins and there really shouldn’t be an argument to him losing. Gojo is a teen with a gun while sukuna is a gun specialist
@@ballsackman7796that was truly garbage
That also explains how he grew so much during the fight. Restoring burnt out ct with rct, chsnging domain conditions, using vows/ chants to rnhance his attack/ mastering black flash. Meanwhile sukuna was only really copying mahoraga. Gojos potential was acc insane
@@cool-zq2igwhat’s even more insane is sukuna let him live so many times just so sukuna could improve his technique and was willing to die to do this
The thing which separates sukuna from other sorcerers is that he is incredibly talented.
Which is funny coz this will be the second time Junichi Suwabe attempts to kill a selfless main character with the power of a dimension of slashes.
@@oru_malayaleezombie7329 If mahito using Idle transfiguration couldn't touch sukuna soul, what makes you think yuji would be able to?
We just don’t know
Finally someone with brains
I am 100% sure that Sukunas ideological was built like that bcz of society the complete opposite of yuji

I been saying for the longest that Sukuna is such a W villain. A chaotic evil man through and through. It is insane that his character despite being so evil is oddly wholesome.
He is a W villain but is still on fraud watch for using Mahoraga and the other one and claiming himself the strongest. I'll give him the Smartest but the strongest goes to the dude on the ground sleeping in the train station
Go/jo was the strongest of the modern age. Sukuna will always be the strongest in all of history.
@paroxysm6437
I've read the story with no bias unlike yourself and knew that Gojo would lose eventually.
Its called preparations and strategy. beautiful video, wonderful music and vry good narration, on a topic that not many people have covered deeply
when the fight got halfway through and the fraud memes started occurring more and more, i was just thinking that Sukuna was simply using Gojo as a teaching lesson for himself. And tbh when you think of it like Gojo was "teaching" Sukuna how to slice through infinity through a sparring match makes the ending of it a bit easier to comprehend. But either way, gotta wait for the big cat to say what his reason for it was when the series is over

This vid is so good. I feel like too many people didnt understand the symbolism behind how and why gojo died but this vid perfectly explains it
Im a Gojo enjoyer but this video made me really appreciate Sukuna. Great analysis of character
Of course we don’t know much about sukunas backstory but I think gojo never had the chance reaching sukunas heights cause being born as the strongest and getting that kind of upbringing was the limiting factor for the limitless man all along

True. I feel like if he was always trying to get stronger he would've learned true jujutsu like Sukuna has.
I’d say gojo was “getting stronger” he just didn’t have the drive to be truly selfish like sukuna. If he did he would’ve been genociding curses and humans alike

This is why Sukuna being in that courtroom and getting judged won’t work. He won’t be found guilty because he has a pure justification to his actions..
Also your definition of guilt isn't the same as the definition of guilty. If anything Sukana having absolute faith in his decisions would be his downfall. When asked if he committed a murder he would take credit because he doesn't see it as a crime, but murder is still a crime and he would be found guilty. I doubt the lawyer would be fast enough to tag him with his instakill tho.

sadly when Gojo had the chance to evolve and learn rule breaking discoveries, it was too late. He fought a Sukuna who experienced high level fights and pulled unbelievable techniques to keep surviving. unlike gojo who only mastered his own techniques but never once created something like sukuna can, cuz most of his fights before sukuna aren't as threatening as this
Wasn’t the AoE hollow purple technique something new he learned
Really good shit man. Good angles and good takes. It really is about perception in the end. And having 'guts' I guess
I think you misunderstood

@untic9552 and yeah, he wasn't. He just wasn't using everything he had, because he didn't need to. Which still confirms my point that Gojo wasn't anything but a hustle for him, and a means to evolve his technique instead of a worthy fight. "You cleared my skies" makes no sense, Sukuna barely had to work in that fight, most of thenwork was done by the shadows and he stood on the background watching until it was the perfect time for him to act.

Sukuna showed more humility throughout the series then gojo did, that's why, sukuna is like a Buddhist monk who achieved nirvana but got stuck in ashura at some point

Humility? Sukuna? We talking about the same guy who as they keep mentioning over and over that "there is no one more conceited. He lives by his own interest and disinterested". The same guy who literally admitted that he reincarnated over the centuries for the sole purpose of toying and snacking on people?

Don't think this analysis video can be topped. Dude, this video is amazing. 10/10 analysis and editing
You’re explanations are so good
Gojo weakness is humanity, which isn’t a knock. If he just Unlimted Voids everyone in Shibuya the series is done😂 Sukuna would have done that. That’s the difference.
Indeed ruthlessly instead 0.2 seconds of his DE like Gojo reduce after effects to people
Amazing video, made me understand parts of sukuna's char that I may have overlooked.
But if Gojo comes back (copium lmao), he might be able to beat him (if he doesn't lose his CT or anything ofc).
holy shit I wrote a whole essay sorry
Man I love these interpretations, I don't even care if some seem less plausible than others most of them are pretty good
Gojo was able to realise his full potential, he literally admitted that he put his all into fighting without holding back , this fight was the peak of his power

Great video bro. Sukuna is simply different
Or he succeeds and brings about, "something more."
The implications that come from that desire are astounding.
Hell yeah let's watch it from the goat.

The Strongest of all time.
The Heian Era,

Narratively it makes so much sense, but based on what we were shown I think it could’ve been handled much better near the end
For me it’s the same as jiraiya saying pain would win if he knew the secret of the six paths, I’m cool with gojo dying but the whole “he might beat me without ten shadows” is dumb
