I really like your book reviews...and your Harry Potter Movie character ranking. You're fun to listen to! Since you love Harry Potter - do more Harry Potter! There are so many Harry Potter fans!
Oh man I love your reviews. The sarcasm does it for me 😂. I'd love to hear your take on the top tier Harry Potter Fanfiction called Manacled. Oh boy, this story is insane, I can't even imagine what you'd say 😅.
Just watched your ACOTAR ranking list this morning (finished ACOSF last night) and am PSYCHED you are doing a Harry Potter list. All your content is excellent!
I agree with everything, but Draco should be bumped a little higher. He was also a product of his parents. And he ultimately didn't feel comfortable doing what was asked of him. Not to mention the deleted scene where he throws Harry his wand in the final film! They needed to keep that in. It adds so much to Draco. The total arc.
I agree with most of your choices. Hubby and I have watched the movies a kajillion times; it's a Christmas tradition. I have a deep, deep love for Kenneth Branagh and Alan Rickman, going all the way back to Peter's Friends and Truly, Madly, Deeply (I'm old). So Gilderoy would be higher on the list for me, despite his shortcomings. Snape is the true hero of the series, and I love the fact that Rickman only signed on when Rowling told him the ending (he would be Best on my list). I think the only character I would have added is Professor Trelawney (my girl Emma T); outstanding comedic character. Great job, and I look forward to the book character list. Thank you. Oh and I agree with BanRayder-ur6qy; you nailed Voldemort. I think you look a lot like Ralph Fiennes - out of Voldy makeup LOL
Finally someone showed Ron his real place where he belongs! 😂 For some reason I get backlash from people when I'm telling them that Ron is a "Meh" character (close to your "Eh" tier 😂). Looks like people just love him without a reason 🤔 It would be waaay better without him in my opinion. And that's the reason why I love HPMoR What do you think of book version of Ron? Same?
And Lucius Malfoy gets way better character creation in Methods of Rationality. In Rowling's HP it's just nonexistent, and he's supposed to be somehow believably Voldemort's right hand before Voldemort's demise?! Don't believe that he ever was - maybe he was just under a spell or out of fear, just for the sake of his title money and "influence" - that Lord Malfoy supports Voldemort on the brink of his creation and etc. Voldemort has great HR and marketing skills 😂
Think you should have added the other professors Trelawney, Sprout, Flitwick, and also Pomfrey, Hooch, Filch and even Firenze... Saw in comments you'd put Trelawny Good to Great 😊... What about the others 😏
Hey have you heard the theory that the reason the Dursleys were the way they were was because Harry was a horcurx. What are your thoughts on this theory?
I’ve heard it, but I don’t buy it. None of the people Harry stayed with in Hogwarts acted that way toward him. Plus book one makes it obvious that the Dursley‘s aren’t good people before Harry stayed with them.
Absolute rubbish. You know, comments like yours make me realize that perhaps it will be much better if there was a prequel centred around James Potter being the main/central character in a story about either the Potter family or the Marauders under James's POV. Maybe that way, it will shut up haters like you for good! Also, one of the reasons why Lily ended up falling for James is because she admired how he stood up for his friends and other people who were cruelly treated by aspiring-Death Eaters.
James is underrated. James is an amazing person (book talking) he bullied Snape as a kid yes, that sucks. But the reasons are very obvious, in the beggining it's because of Lily. He has a crush on this girl from day one (I believe) and she is besties with Snape so he hates the guy. Then he hates him because of Snape's love for the dark arts. Even though he hates Snape he still saves his life on their third year. If James had been a bully, he would have never been friends with a werewolf. James joined the order of the Phoenix right after school, he fought trying to protect his family, he died a brave death, he fought Voldemort 3 times before he died (according the prophecy). He was an honorable, brave, kind person. And just because he wrong choices as a teenager about how to deal with someone who he hated (for very valid reasons may I add) doesn't make him a bad person.
I agree mostly. The only part i disagree is you excused Dudley’s behavior because of his upbringing but not Draco’s. Not saying Draco is good but I think he was trying to please his dad and it felt like luscious was trying to use his son to gain respect from Voldemort. That’s a lot of pressure.
I actually think movie Snape is far superior to book Snape! Book Snape feels whiny and sleazy, whereas movie Snape feels like an actual Deatheater double spy who holds all the secrets.
I've never read the books, but, I do watch the movies regularly. I agree with the majority of your ranking. Luna is my favorite character. I do think Malfoy deserves the same consideration that was given to Dudley though. Malfoy was the product of his parents influence. When things became clearer to him, I feel he wanted to do what was right but he realized he was to weak and always had been. Lov your vids!
I totally agree except for Vernon. If you think about it, he is a loving husband who loves his wife more than anything and cares about her feeling. He just wants to protect her and his family. And he had to take in his orphan nephew (even though he and his wife didn't actually want him) and he sees him as his freaky sister-in-law's son. He just wants an uncomplicated normal life with his family 😬 The older I get, the more I understand him 😅 Can't wait for the HP Book ranking 😄
The man cares about looks. He absolutely abused harry his whole life. I'm re reading the books to my son and we just go to the burrow: "The one thing Harry found most unusual about life at Ron's was that everyone there seem to like him." He is 12. Harry is literally 12 YEARS OLD!!! He was abused since he was a toddler. Vernon and Petunia are monsters. There is no redemption for abusing a child their whole life.
James Potter deserved a redemption on the movies after the scene where he is bullying snape. He deserved a redemption more than Narcisa or Draco or Dudley. James was a good, honorable man. He died protecting his family. He was a part of the Order from the time he left school, showing his moral compass and values. He married a muggleborn being a pure blood himself and he was best friends with a werewolf and a guy who came from a bloodline of super dark wizzards, which shows how he doesnt have prejudices against people. That's on the movies. On the books??? The guy did bully snape. I am not defending that but if you take the circumstances into it. He bullied snape in the beggining because james had a crush on Lily and Lily was best friends with snape, he was 11, i think we can give him a pass?? He was a child. Later on, he hated snape because of what snape standed for (the dark arts) which i think it's a totally justifiable reason to hate on someone. Snape hated muggleborns and called them mudbloods. James stood out for Lily after snape called her a mudblood. Ron did the same for Hermione. Was Ron bullying malfoy?? James grows out of his childish ways and grows up to become an honorable, honest, brave man who fought and gave his life for a great cause. Snape grew up to bully children and use his position of power to humiliate and terrorize them (Neville's worst fear was his potion's teacher)
So here for this!!! Agree especially about James Potter and Luna Lovegood. :) Love the ASMR reference too, so true.
I can’t wait to see the one you do about the books instead!
That scene with professor McGonagall, is my absolute favorite scene in the movies as well. It makes me giggle with excitement every time I see it.
I really like your book reviews...and your Harry Potter Movie character ranking. You're fun to listen to! Since you love Harry Potter - do more Harry Potter! There are so many Harry Potter fans!
Oh I plan on it!
I love Harry Potter and am 100% a Potterhead I love how you add Harry Potter references to your other reviews.
You're impression of Voldemort is impeccable 🤣🤣🤣
😂 thanks

Love this video!! Absolutely agree with it all
I was nervously waiting for McGonagall, she deserves TOP TIER!
I absolutely love Neville Longbottom!!! He is by far my favorite. You see him develop from a scared timid kid to a brave and selfless teenager.
I bet you would love even more his adaptation from HPMoR!
I'm here for ALL things Harry Potter!!! Thanks in advance! 😊
No no no. Snape is simply the best.
Just watched your ACOTAR ranking list this morning (finished ACOSF last night) and am PSYCHED you are doing a Harry Potter list. All your content is excellent!

“The last Weasley”
You avada kedavra’d Percy prior to making this video 😂
He is the true one who shall not be named

I think you’re right!
I adore you! These are so on point!

They did Ron dirty in the movies. He is better in the books.
AVADAAA 😂😂😂😂
Jim dale or Stephen Fry?
Who doesn't like movie Harry?! God I love him.
Even book Harry...
His sass is unmatchable.
TONKS IS JUST THE BESTTT
What about Trelawny?
She’s probably Good to great

Younger brother. But otherwise bravo!

Yep!
Movie Snape is GOD TIER character. And so is Bella.

Mildy- with the broom in the back lol
Dude, EXCUSE ME, her name is UmBitch lol
Don’t forget Fawkes up in the corner 😂
@@StevensBookReviews Fawkes should have been on the best trier tbh

@@abrilakgun well then, "Rictusempra" to you 😊
Narcissa is my favorite side character. I think a lot of people sleep on her because they have her like five lines in the movies.
I can agree that Dobby is SOMETIMES annoying but Dobby has good intentions and he died for his FRIENDS
True
James Potter deserved a redemption on the movies after the scene where he is bullying snape. He deserved a redemption more than Narcisa or Draco or Dudley.

Yeah they did him dirty in the films. They make him look really bad in the last movie which sours him as a character for the previous movies.
Draco was not a bad character because his dad was controlling him so all his life his was taught to be mean
