I think the fact that you hated this so much but still gave it 3 stars must explain a large part of CH's general success. I'm guessing a substantial portion of her sales goes to people caught in the "train wreck" effect, where it's so awful but you just can't look away 😆
Finally someone said it. None of them are innocent. Lowen helps kill Verity, then she hid the supposed truth. Jeremy tries to kill Verity twice and succeeded. Verity was obsessed with Jeremy that she believed she was a good mother and wife. Like you said, they deserved what they got coming. Honestly just because of all the craziness i kept reading. The only person that gets my sympathy is Crew, he forsure is going to need that therapy to not end up like Jeremy.
I actually quite enjoyed the book for the first 100 pages then it when downhill 😂 The fact that everyone is a fricking psychopath and the dumbest ending ever makes it the worst read of my life 😂 And I’m team note but doesn’t matter because they’re all psychos and this books should be burned 😂😂
I wish I didn’t read this book. Way too many flaws for me and was just so annoyed by the ending. I was the same with I kept turning the page cuz I wanted to know what happens.
This book sounds MESSED UP! 🤯 But what I want to know is why Lowen needed to move into Jeremy’s house? Did she not have her own house? And why did Verity keep being a carrot and not escape or get payback on Jeremy for bringing Lowen into their house? And why did Lowen stay with Jeremy when he killed…. Twice?! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!
this book made me dislike colleen hoover. i felt verity was manipulative, but i think she loved jeremy and knew it wouldn't have worked out after the loss of their two children. i feel like the ending was a bit rushed and the plot was a bit predictable.
Verity was the first Colleen Hoover. I read it because Colleen Hoover's books were everywhere. Big mistake on my part. I hated this book. Colleen Hoover is a one and done for me.
@@noahbuck7550…….it’s not that serious. He’s a literal dude…talking about books. And where in his videos did he ever say “men can read!! Men have the right to read!! Men can own books!!”?
@lv5106 Implying the "from a dude" literally sounds like "I don't want to make myself look feminine for reading books." I'm sorry that other people can't read between lines.

I think you’re right about that 🤣

Ok I haven't read the book, no plan to read the book, however this review made my day!!
"WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?" 😂

Book was nuts! I did not know about the bonus chapter! Which just makes it worse.

If you read the book, you’ll probably still have those questions 😂
@@StevensBookReviews 😆 I trust your judgement, I won’t be reading this book lol.
Colleen Hoover novels all sound completely waked... I really need to read one 😆
You should do Silent Patient next. Waaaay better.
Yes, everyone in this book is creepy and insane. But… I LOVED IT! A real pageturner, stayed up until 4 in the morning ’cause I couldn’t put it down!
Carity is faking her carrotness😅
Bro u spoke my mind.
I look forward to next reviews after this one. 😂
Hillarious! 😂😂😂
Hated the characters of that book. Haaaaated them. First book I read of hers. And the last.
You are right!
This book had the most unrealistic sex scenes I have ever read.
I liked the book but I hated the ending and HATED that extra chapter even more.
Grieving plant 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
🤣
😂😂 Fantastic review
Thank you!

Very predictable. But somehow it kept me engaged the entire time.
@@StevensBookReviews it was a very engaging plot. i wish i had the book with the added chapter 😅
Oh God, now that I know the plot, it’s even worse than I imagined it was 🫠

This book is a train wreck. The review is on point
Tbh the book was boring the events were so slow, good review btw❤
Idk why this one person is so up their ass over your video titles. You are a literal dude talking about books. 😂
I don’t know, but it makes me wanna name the next video “a dude’s review about a book another dude recommended to him that wasn’t written by a dude”
@@StevensBookReviewsplease do. 😂 someone needs to touch grass
This book was awful
It’s was a page turner though!
I apologize, but what's the point in putting..."from a dude?"
Because I am one 🤷 😂
@@StevensBookReviews I don't see the reason to, though. Reading isn't just for women. 😂🤷🏼♂️
@@StevensBookReviews It's giving fragile masculinity. 🤷🏼♂️😂

Thanks for an honest review & let's keep deinfluencing bad booktok books! 🥲
