  • Believe it or not the best runners in the world turn off their their major quadriceps muscles in the front of their thigh during the drive phase of running. This confirms that gravity is our friend and further enforces that you shouldn't push forward you should fall forward. And if we aren't pushing forward with our quadriceps we need to be pulling with our hamstrings.
