While you were chasing kills, I studied the blade. While you had your medic girlfriend pocketing you, I practiced the blade. While you were respawning, I used the blade. And now that an overhealed heavy and a medic with uber are bearing down on our gates you have the audacity to ask me for help.
"you've trained Your entire Life for This, i Can see that, But while you were Taunting In Spawn, You know how i Prepared Today? I learned, Your traditions, Your Movements, Which Players To Tame... And Which to Backstab, So i ask you once Again, Do you surrender?"
Spy is a pick class. If you have 4 spies, no matter how good they are, you will likely lack power classes. Even if the 4 spies manage to get kills and keep the other team distracted, you won't have a team to push with. Additionally, really good spies increase paranoia a lot. 4 good spies will make it difficult for any of the spies to do their job properly.
Whether it be another Spy, a Heavy, Pyro or anything, to be a successful Spy distractions are a must. It becomes a dilemma for the enemy, do you pay attention to the damage class in front of you, or the Spy behind you.
And it pains me to always be the Pyro or the piss-and-sting Sniper watching my entire team's blind and deaf asses. I'm not the best of players, but when it comes to attention most players are like fuckin goldfish, swear to god.
it's so frustrating when you're about to backstab someone and your teammate spy decloaks out of his empty cloak and dagger somewhere behind you, making massive noise, causing multiple enemies to turn around and you hit god knows what but not the back, causing you to undisguise infront of the whole enemy team, in melee range even.
Just like when you are going to get the backstab on a heavy and your team scout decides shooting him from behind surely is more deadly than the backstabbing, and gets both of you killed.
The thing you start to realize after playing Spy for a bit is just how far other players will go to kill you, like that Medic running right in front of a spun up Heavy. It's so easy to use this to your advantage. Spy can play mind games and cause rage by just existing.
Spy is so universally hated among every class in the game that the enemy team(particularly heavies, medics and/or pyros) will often abandon their duties for so long that you can often win a team fight without even killing anyone
@@turtlesauce5952 I've done it more than once by staying near the other team's spawn just to mess with their teleporters and Engies. Two spies working together can easily provide a distraction to conceal the other spy. Two spies on the same team can also be harmful, however, because depending on how good or bad both of them are, they could result in the team being down two players, especially if the other team starts stacking pyro.
The kunai should suffice for pyros unless your game works like my mine and can't render a back leaving me unable to do trickstab. Srsly on multiple occasions, The stupidity should have cost there life by me doing a simple corner stab or them being blind or deaf and lord gaben blesses them with backstab immunity.
If they put the system of telling you if you have too many Spies or Snipers or no Medics like they have in Overwatch, then people will consider playing other classes without there being 5 Spies and Snipers on one team
Luckily there's at least a visual cue of the team's current composition on the class selection menu. Sadly the cue is not invasive *enough* to really be noticed by most people who don't already know its there (especially if they're new).
i feel that would disappoint players alot in some cases, perhaps they have just started up TF2 to play spy or sniper etc but they now cannot because of that system. 1 thing about Valve is they actually allow the players to control how the game works, they just add to it.

Borneo is probably my favorite map for Spy. That bridge gives you so much freedom. Uncloak, jump down, get 2-3 people on the cart, cloak, rotate around the shack and repeat. There's so many places to be, that spychecking is not completely denying you freedom like in, say, dustbowl.

That minigun sound is so helpful for spies, that it's actually one of the reasons I prefer the Tomislav when playing heavy. On the terms of distractions, I bait my teammates all the time.
