Doing good thanks ☺️ Can’t remember where I picked that tip up from, but been using it for years, it’s a nice cheap fix for sure ☺️ Still building up a box for you, do you fancy having a go at the gameboy pocket from last week? I’ve tried another screen in it, it STILL gives that blue screen 😭
@@1up_Gaming Glad you are good. It's a great tip! I'll have a look at anything Mike but you might want to keep it for your own channel for a future video, but if you have thrown in the towel than I am more than happy to attempt the challenge. Cheers mate😎
@@Mymatevince yep, I’ve reached my limits on that one, I’ll stick the revisit up, but it, along with some other bits, needs the magic Vince touch 👍 Soon as there is a full box, it’ll be on it’s way, MacBook, gb pocket, a nice Walkman and some other bits so far ☺️
So you just welded the wires for the rumble back in place, while it was still attached? I'm a little bit confused. Tryin to fix my own controller with no rumble and would like some guidance
got a gamecube controller the other day. stick drift and L button not working. been able to sort the stick drift by resetting the controller with X Y and start but think i might have to take the controller apart anyway to see whats up with the L button at least i’m only using it for double dash at the moment and i prefer drifting with R anyway but still a bit annoying
Maybe I can just clean the shoulder buttons on my Wavebird! I'll give it a go. I want to play some of my old games. My Cube still works, but the controller's L and R buttons don't.
There are lots of malfunctioning GC controllers for cheap. This video makes me want to get a couple and try fixing them. Because working oems I've seen for stupid prices. Still, for my original Wii there's only one way to play the GC games l.
Yep, £20-25 is the going rate these days for official GC pads, if it’s the wire that is fine though, it may be more work, if I come across one like that, I’ll be sure to do a video on it though.
4:54 Even when not playing the game, Mario Kart Wii still finds a way to screw you over. The game never changes lol
Nice fix Mike, I liked the dragging of the contacts on the paper to clean. Hope you are keeping well 👍😎

Fingers crossed :) Hopefully you've had a go and got it sorted now :)
Did you just resolder the rumble motor and that fixed it?

No soldering needed?
For the triggers
Please help my a b x and y don't work
I opened one of these which had a bent stick and lots of dirt an permanent marker on it
Hopefully it’s in much better shape now 😳
Apart from the marker Yes. Stick turned out great, it is clean thanks to the ipa
@@domiclips4401 yeah, IPA could get the marker off, but you run the risk of making the plastic look a bit reflective after it 😢
How should I start with micro soldiering?
Subbed
Thank you ☺️ ☺️
Hey are you able to fix my Smash Ultimate GameCube Controller's Rumble? Are you on Instagram?
