It's so tiny that I totally lost it. It occur to me to put a bit of solder to connect the other two without that resistor/cap, and surprise surprise it worked!. But I don't know what it was for so I expect the unexpected. As long as the battery doesn't explode or something.

That black stuff you cleaned out of the ps1 is cockroach poo I've seen this in many old systems you just need to clean the whole board and housing but clean the board in 99% isopropyl alcohol as the cockroach may have wee on the board too buddy

The problem is not in the board, nor the screens, the problem is in the WiFi module, it is the small plate that is connected to the two cables that provide Internet to the ds

Hey ik this video is kinda old but I have a question, I've replaced the shell to a ds xl I was given and put in the hinge as it should be but it does not keep itself from falling back. I've researched many videos and there is nothing to exactly tell me if I am doing something wrong. I know I am missing the clear light that goes in before, not sure if that could also affect the hinge from properly working. Also, when putting the top shell on and then opening it, jt ends up poping itself off forcefully and cannot remain close to the bottom shell I'm not sure on what is happening.

So it's the analog sticks. I've been experiencing all sorts of issues with the touchscreen. I just now replaced both the analog sticks and the problems have vanished. The Vita is very sensitive with those components. I did what you did and swapped boards to troubleshoot

i have this issue ua-cam.com/video/T4_osgSVnlk/v-deo.html i've read that it's due to bad resistances the southbridge get's that the cpu/gpu is overheating i've removed and made a bridge but it's the same this did not fix the issue, i hope you could help, thanks in advance.

A find a good way to thoroughly clean between the pins of ds/3ds cartridges, is to use a toothpick dipped in IPA, then brush away any residue with a toothbrush dipped in IPA as well

The blue wasn't pushing the switch in on the SP properly, that's why it was booting into GBA mode. There's a physical switch that switches mode, since GB/GBC games need 5v, not 3.3v like GBA games. So either a little damage on the blue cart, or your SP switch needs sorting.

those games are not gameboy color games. gold and silver were the first gameboy color pokemon games

Hi, the small square shape connector next to the stereo connector is the for the external Mic, I was able to fix the mic problem on my dsi, by adjusting the right most pin on this mic connector in such way that, it's end goes all the way up to touch another pin which connects this pin to internal mic connection. I hope this helps

Good job, i just did the same job for the same issue. One recommendation, next time don’t drop the port from the moment you start heating up the board, wait until the solder is melting to drop the charging port, that way you won’t have the same issue you had in this video, meaning the new port won’t melt inside and give you a false negative.
