How I got a Japan only Tamagotchi game working on my modded North American 3DS

- I wanted to play this Japan exclusive Tamagotchi game (Cho~ricchi! Tamagotchi no Puchi Puchi Omisecchi) on my North American region 3DS, and it requires the player's name be in Japanese. This prevents the game from working, even on a modded console.
The only thing that doesn't work is inputting the player name, however, so if you already have a save going it'll play fine. So I ended up making a save on one of my other 3DS's, and I figured I'd post it in case anyone else actually wants to play this game for some reason.
I checked the other two Corner Shop games on 3DS after filming and they do have the same issue. I'll do the same thing as I did for this one, and perhaps make saves with the other characters, sometime soon.

i forgot to mention my 3ds was hacked - the 3ds *is* normally region locked and cfw bypasses it.
This also happened to some other Japanese 3ds tamagotchi games.
yep! I was gonna upload saves for those too but haven't gotten to it yet
@@ianrises It kinda bothered me when you tried to put an Japanese exclusive tamagotchi 3ds games into a modded 3ds or a 2ds and not to mention it does have a region lock in it….
