Is bullying normal ? It might be a necessary step in growing a human being. Why do children spontaneously start bullying. it is in every school and every neighbourhood. Just like yelling at your children. Some psychologists will say you should not do this , just talk calmly. So why do people shout and scream at children when they do something wrong ? I feel that is creates an emotional response in the children and they remember it better. I know my parents and co workers at my job screamed at me. When I was yelled at , I remembered the incident much more than when I was just told something in a non confrontational manner. I worked on the railway and if you made one stupid mistake you were dead. So the screaming worked. Why do people get road rage ? Well I get very upset in my car , when other drivers break the rules and do dangerous things that could cause you to be in an accident. So it is a response to stupid dangerous things that people do. Now if we eliminate bullying in schools by using constant teaching about it and other methods to eliminate it . what will happen ? There could be a side effect that we did not know about. There could be genetic affects to the gene pool. We don't understand how the gene pool affects us in our everyday lives. In any animal population, it the gene pool that is King and in control and individuals are expendable. For example, suicide. People commit suicide generally to eliminate their genes from the gene pool. They have been rejected in society and are depressed. Everyday people are judging other people in every way. It is a feedback mechanism to keep the gene pool tuned up. The same goes for wars and fighting and killing. Chimpanzees do the same thing. They commit suicide and have wars. How can wars and suicide benefit the individual ? How can wars and suicide help an individual to pass on his own DNA.? So from the individual perspective it makes no sense but from the gene pool view point it makes perfect sense. It may happen that the negative feedback loop will eliminate perfectly good people sometimes but in general and on average it helps to keep the human gene pool in top notch shape.
