- In this video I show you how to install an aftermarket fuel pump on a 2018 Subaru STI. This guide probably works for varies years of the car including the wrx but I am not 100% sure. This install is super easy to do and with following my guide you should be able to do it yourself as well :) If you enjoyed the video let me know what you would like to see next on my channel in the comments below. And as always have a great day!
Nice video. Actual voice instructions of what and how you're doing a step. Not music and sped up video! Off to the garage to change mine!
I appreciate that thank you! 😁
When is the a detailed injector install coming? I waiting on your video to install them. Always so detailed. I already successfully installed my AOS because of your video!
I finished that install and other things as well at the same time. But In the process of working for 3 days straight on the car and recording so much I accidentally lost a few hours of footage :( I’m still in the process of trying to see what I have to work with.
I was able to recover a good amount of the footage so I will have that video up soon!
Another great video! Getting ready to do my flex fuel system soon. I will use this as a guide. Look forward to seeing the rest of the install.
Thank you!
You actually saved my life with your note about transferring the spacer from the stock pump. I must have uninstalled and reinstalled the pump 8 times in the last two days trying to figure out why my car was running lean and misfiring.
That is good to hear! Glad you caught that 😁
mine won’t even start 😭 i completely forgot that whole step now i have to redo it all over
This is going to be my next weekend mod.👍🏼🔥🔥🔥
Quality work as always bro.
I do the best I can 😗 Let’s hope it just gets better from here on out 🙌🏼
Killer horsepower upgrade bro that’s true American muscle
Great content once again! 👍🏽
Tune needed after this?
BluPrynt78 Thank you much :) And the fuel pump is one of those parts that don’t require a tune after installation.
Love the content bro, nice mod 🔥
Jared Gines Appreciate the support 🙏
Just what I was looking for. Thanks m8!
You are very welcome glad you found the video! 😁
Can't wait for more
Late response but more is coming! 😏
Good video man so what’s the difference between the oem fuel pump and the cobb one
I’m getting my car ready for a full fuel system upgrade. Also I need this pump to run ethanol ;)
you’re doing the same mods i am. (i just have to install the fuel system upgrades like the injectors flex hoses and all that) i have everything but now i’m going to wait for your video on that because i used your aos video to install mine and it was the best thing ever
Martin Lubo I’ll try to make the best video that I can. We will see what happens ☝️
clean video!!
Thank you ! 😄
Do you need a tune?
Красава брат так держать.
Hey did your new pump come with the new wiring harness? The clip with the black and red wire?
you know how to drift.
If you are talking about drifting in my car than sure, if it's wet or snowing LOL :)
Cool man
Thank You :)
👌👌👌👌👌👌💪💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍
Do I need to install the black spacer?
Yes the black spacer must be installed for it to work properly :)
Yo! you dont have any problems with just 1 o ring on the fuel pump? alot of people are saying put 2?
Yea I had that question too because My fuel pump that I bought didn’t come with one and my stock one only used 1. But I asked my tuner and they said just 1 🤷🏼♂️ Car runs fine
Be Above Average no lost in fuel pressure at all? i guess doing two is just to make it seal “better” you also re used your oem o ring? i think the 2 orings that came with the pump are smaller
Yea I re-used it. I didn’t have a choice, after the pump was taken out is when I noticed I didn’t have new o-rings :/ Fuel pressure is solid. I’ve had the car dyno tuned since this and inspected before hand and everything was fine. I guess only time will let right 😂🤙🏼
@@BeeAboveAverageHow's it holding up years later? I'm about to put 1 or 2 in. Thanks!
@@jonathandyang I’ve had no issues so far. Still running great :)
