The Position of Spoons: And Other Intimacies by Deborah Levy out later by FSG. via NetGalley.
Life updates and a hug from New York.
I am adoring this format & vibe!
The simplicity of this new video style is refreshing and very calming.
omg had no idea there was a new Levy. thanks for puttin me on! always love these chatty sit-downs. feels like catching up with a really good friends
lucky to have you as a friend to chat with ;) yes, this Levy seems to be slipping under the radar!!! I'm enjoying it a lot.
It’s so nice to see you. 😊. Im excited about the Strout. When I read My Name Is Lucy Barton, the writing style blew my mind. What a touching book that was. I’m so happy about your move to an apt in Richmond. ❤❤❤
i like this chill photo booth vid, a nice relaxing vibe. excited to see how you decorate and make the apt yours
me too! A lot more stress free and keeps my judgment monster more at bay!
here you have a supporter for these rambling videos! btw, @AnaWallaceJohnson and you: such a lovely combo, love both of you
oh I am happy to hear, thank you! I hung out with Ana a while back in nyc and she is just the best. What a star. big hugs from here to Spain!
so enjoyable to join for a relaxed chat about books and a little life catch up. sending love to you and ohad x
thank you Katie xx sending love back
This gave me life on a rainy Tuesday morning in Australia. Love you always ❤
oh I'm so happy to hear. big love for you.
This is exactly what I needed to see. Thank you ❤
I love videos like this! I’ve been craving authentic UA-cam videos that remind me of old UA-cam. Just people taking chatting not trying to sell me something
the Photo Booth recording really reminded me of when I was making UA-cam videos at age 12. glad you enjoyed it :-) sending hugs!!
oh, ben, now i want to read thaaaaat book😂
all the best for your move😊
you should! thank you so much!
Love the way you described this book. I find different comforts in books with larger casts versus lone protagonists, namely the feeling of entering an established community and making new friends with everyone. Like the feeling of going to a group hangout over a solo date with one friend. :)
Congrats on the move! Hope all transitions smoothly.
that is such an amazing way to put it! And if we are on the theme of group hangout, sometimes with books my "social battery" can get depleted lol but this one was so easy to be with so many people. :-) Thank you dear!
loooove strout!! can’t wait for this!
me too!! I hope you love this one.
love this style of video 🫶🏻 i also cannot wait to pick up the new deborah levy!!
oh yay so glad you enjoy it! I've been loving watching your videos this past week. Now because of you I must read The Man Who Saw Everything!
I enjoyed so much dis catch up ahh! Feels intimate & calming and your voice is so soothing
“our sweet little puddle” love this
@@emiliagabriela2219 he just melts into a pile of skin!
Thank you for your kind words! I enjoy the intimate feeling as well xx
looove this video set up!
so happy to hear!!!!!!!
I'm not into crime but one series i do love are the Wallander books by Henning Mankell. I got into those after watching some of the tv series.Have you tried those?
I haven't read those or seen the series (possibly one episode) ... thank you!!! I'll look into it.
Hi! I discovered your channel a good while ago, but only recently watched your qua and realized you're a dancer/choreographer. I'm a very fresh choreographer myself working on shaping my artistic practice and I was wondering if your reading has any link to your own artistic practice and work? I'm imagining it would be amazing to hear you talk about if it is the case
oh I looooooove this suggestion and topic of thinking/chatting about! So nice to e-meet you. Maybe I'll record something about this after I have a think over it. Or we can have a personal chat over on IG or something. Big hugs xx
@@benjaminjournal Would love either/both!
