We need the butter to be melted before adding it to the mixture we obviously cant add it solid!!! 8. Next, add your eggs, lemon juice, salmon juice, and melted margarine or butter to a bowl. 9. Add the seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, parsley, and breadcrumbs, then stir in well. 10. Add the salmon, onions, and peppers, then stir in well again. 11. With your hands and a large spoon, shape the salmon into salmon patties shapes. 12. Place your skillet over medium-high heat. 13. Preheat the oil for 3 minutes. Once hot, add 3 salmon patties at a time, and fry for 3 to 3-1/2 minutes per side. Flip them over using 2 spatulas or else you might burn yourself and that ain’t cool!!!! You will see them begin to brown on the edges when it’s time to flip them over. 14. Once done, place patties on a paper toweled plate to drain excess oil. Enjoy! may I suggest that u can put the salmon on the bowl first then add the vegetables then add eggs..mix well.. then add the bread crumbs.. and a little fish fry corn meal

Actually, you can completely crush the bones (they are soft) without changing the flavor or texture of the salmon dish. The calcium in salmon bones benefit the human body. And if you have a cat use the juices to pour over dry food or even just let them lap up the juices. What a treat for you fur baby!

You can also use Stove Top chicken stuffing mix cornbread, herb mix or any stuffing mix cornbread instead of bread crumbs.

The best thing that I got out of this was the 2 spatula trick to reduce oil/grease splashing. That's such a great, simple idea, but I never thought of it. THANK YOU !

you taught me a few new tricks but I like to use a mixture of flour and cornmeal, and I like mine thin as well. I like to eat it with cranberry sauce or mustard and for breakfast jelly.

They look delicious 😋. But I also was brought up having these for breakfast . Mom used flour instead of bread crumbs. Serve with rice. & eggs. We used JACK Mack in the red CAN. I think I'm going to have some for breakfast. 😂
