Im simple man, i see daytons i press like
The flapping sound from your trunk is the rubber one-way valve to allow air to vent from the cabin.
Doublsmm Why no flex? My mom used to have a vw beetle R and it had an Fender system, it had a 10" sub that pumped the eardrums out of my ears and nothing was rattling. I went out and searched some on Google and it seems Volkswagen is one of the few car brands that use SoundSkin to reduce stuff like door panels to rattle from sound that the system is producing. So that's why there is no rattling!
I hope you dont actually believe this trash.
@@jamesstephenson2346 well two years later, no I’ve never said it was trash it is an explanation on the question he asked himself in the video.
Wow, how did I miss this video the other day, I put in the Ultimax 10" kit in my car a few weeks ago and it's amazing, I watching on my phone right now so I can't hear any bass but I bet it sounds smooth.
I'm thinking of selling the 10" even though there's nothing wrong with it and bumping up to the 12" to see if I can get any deeper, the 10" goes to 25hz easily and does 20hz quite well, but it needs a bit of a boost at 20hz, but 25 is fine.
Running a Rockford Fosgate 50w x4 amp with 2 channels on my front speakers and the other two bridged to the Ultimax so I'm under powering it with only 150 watts, but it gets as loud as I need right now, while sounding extremely smooth and digs deep.
The other day I let a few friends hear it, then we went to hear my friends husband's system, but it was all bass, could hardly hear the music, and didn't go below 40hz, sure it was very loud, but not enjoyable. (Ported kicker best buy sub I think)
Hell Ye sounds sick bro 😂😻
Good stuff, Jack. Keep it up.
man, where you been all this days??? wee need more videos from you...how is the new house? regards from UK
Always Nice a new video🔊🔊🔊
Sounds amazing such a quality made car (: can't wait for more
Great video as usual
Sure! Show the straight pipe vr6 sound.
"Do I wanna put a sub in my car ?" The answer should always be yes lol
I read in one comment that vw uses sound skin for the cars but the other reason there is no flex is though there may be a lot of bass there isnt enough pressure in the car from the single 10" if you had a larger setup such as 2 12's running even at 600watts would make a world of difference in the flex comunity because they push more air causing more pressure which in return creates lots of vibrations
Love it!
Dem Flip Flops tho 😂😂
Very rare Passat R36
D Walker112 there's one going around my way, estate/wagon version with loud aftermarket exhaust, and i had to look up what it was because i was confused by a petrol V6 engine sound coming from a Passat estate
sick mateeeee
How is it possible to connect a casual sub to your car audio system? I think a short Video about how you were able to do it would be cool!
wow I'm using headphones and damn does that sound good
how did that compare with those 2 18s, did you ever put full power to those 18s, super interested in the results
Can you show how to connect a sub like that on a car? (Including an amp etc). Thanks
Awesome!
Now you taste car audio…after a week 2 sundown pumpin the volkswagen
I'll definitely sub to your second channel
Flex depends heavily on the vehicle and the setup itself. I had a 2000 Pontiac Montana, no flex at all except the roof and the windshield a little, with 3 8” Sundown Audio SA-8’s. Sound dampening is usually heavily applied from the factory for certain vehicles, mostly luxury or high end vehicles, so they don’t have that much flex you could say because the vibrations are absorbed by the factory Mat, or in a rare case just simply the design of the vehicle doesn’t present much interference. Also, flex is more commonly seen in relatively high power applications also, it’s not very often that such a small amount of power (500 watts) flex’s a whole lot. More power and you’ll really start to notice it, and certain frequencies.
I really like the Dayton 10" sub and it look good in the car
Jackpot I like blogs and also speaker video also I just subbed to both
Some speaker brands make subs that fit into your spare wheel (pioneer)
did you change the speakers of the car? Cause I cannot believe that the passat speakers sound super incredible o.O
Me: holy shit good content!
*Hears lil peep* YES
oofig oh, that deceased drug addict...
RWL2012 oh that kid that's interested in autotuned shit, right?
RWL2012 Let Me Clear things up for you, I think you're thinking of Lil pump. Lil peep is dead
oofig no I didn't get the two mixed up. deceased = dead
okay but thats harsh to call him a drug addict, yeah he was addicted to drugs but thats not right... My friends dad just died from battling a drug addiction... not cool
Im considering 2 of these in my trailblazer😀
Indeed speakers in VW's are not bad in sound quality. They play pretty well all round
in my 2012 jetta premium (fender) oem sub made girls hair in car go up !!! (panasonic amp) and i still had use of my whole trunk ! tottaly loved that car ! what you did makes no sense
What sub is in that box? And how much power?
He has a well built car that’s why 😂😂
To make it portable you should buy a backup battery that has 120 volts which chargers and turns on when the power goes out
i put 2 10 " jbl 1000 rms in mine love it
How to be a simple man:
You hear lil peep, You hit the like button.
Rydex and Dayton audio
dead drug addict...
Rydex damn right
You shoul buy a Sundown audio 12 inch
Hi I have a Acura TL 2005 with one subwoofer and one amplifier Bridge why do my power cable keep burning out even though I'm using a high gauge wire
treztracks because you're using high gauge wire. use lower gauge (thicker) power cable. also make sure the system isn't clipping
1 10 inch sub isn't really suppose to flex, i think. it would make sense that it couldn't because its a small sub in a better enclosure makes it louder. but like i have 4 12 inch subs in a ranger its going to shake everything because its moving more air and has more bounce from them all moving at once. if that makes sense to any one else correct me if im wrong.
Hey you us poweramp app for the music player ? (Sorry my english is bad i'm french btw)
Nice car I love vws
do car bass reaction video! open windows and put to 100% vol at public place
username taken he get arrested for breaching the peace haha
Most 12v installers don't know what their doing. If you want it done right gotta do it yourself. If you don't have time or aren't confident in your install skills, find a true reputable shop but do your research! Look at forums, join car audio groups on FB and ask about shops in your area then ask that shop for pics of previous installs. Find as much info as you possibly can before taking a chance with a shop. If your not 100% sure about the quality of their work, walk away and find a new one... So many amateurs in this industry be careful man.
Full truth
You should use a this song call White walls for speaker blowouts
Bro seel the box.
After that experience the riding!
Lol i wanted to put my sony sa wms225 sub in my car today and then this came up :)
Dem sandals tho 😅😅
Also your deck settings should stay flatand gains set before clipping and also should look in to what clipping is
Your neighbours must love you
It won't flex, it's so well built
I have my U10s in 1.00 sealed boxes. They require more power than vents but the investment is well worth it.
dude how is the house going?
You should do an car audio build
What car is it
you should put that in a t line
All you need is a ave sub but run it of of a car amp
I have a 15 ultimax for my desktop computer and I put it in my tahoe. and I have a 1000 watt amp it shoot my Tahoe like crazy
R36 ❤
Nice
Let it there
I stuck to the JBL design proposal for the sealed bandpass woofer because the frequency accuracy of a sealed bandpass woofer is the most linear of all subwoofer variants, and the GT4-12 Woofers can only be fully loaded with 250W in this design. The membranes can swing more controlled.
This homemade construction was driven by a MacAudio ZX 4500 Black Edition power amp (4 x 125W sinewave).
I have used two channels of the power amplifier for two 250W PA tweeters on the rear shelf. The other two channels were for the two subwoofers.
In a dB-Drag Event 138 dB were measured. Various Displays could only be seen blurry, lighters were blown out in the middle of the car. It was an OPEL Astra G-CC with 84HP, construction year 2003, 120Amp alternator, 95 Ah Battery, two 1F Powercaps in parallel.
A sealed bandpass Subwoofer has no sound holes. The Laudspeaker chassis is built into the housing from the outside. The membrane shows outside the housing.
I had a crystal clear sound in this car thanks wo the PA tweeters and, thanks to the JBL Woofer, breathtaking bass.
I had adjusted the system so maticulously that even with unpleasant volumes no clipping could be noticed.
When breathing, even the larynx vibrated.
The only downside: the trunk could be used for the most necessary. Small tool box, replacement bulbs, warning trinagle, first aid Kit, etc.
The car radio was a Kenwood with CD, USB, Aux, an a 10-CD Changer, wich i had taken from my second car radio.
Unbelievable, but true: I had screwed the CD-Changer on top of the Subwoofer. The Changer was completely unimpressed by the vibrations. He really played music without a dropout.
Note: In my current Kia Ceed GT, i do not need a subwoofer to shake the rearview mirror...
Another guest had a system with 5 power amplifiers, each of wich could deliver 4kW sinewave. He was measured with something over 160dB.
Unbelievable: Although his tailgate and the front two doors were open, the rear two dors though the bass came out a good 2 to 3 Inches from the door frame...
A car alarm system has complained about 200 meters away from the noise...
Under the power amplifiers was a huge drawer full of batteries and power caps.
the positioning is terrible too and the box is way too small. Aim the port to the rear of the car or put it closer to the right near a loading wall, if possible fire it at a corner of the car. The bass only sounds loud in a car because of the enclosed space vs in a giant room which is harder to build up spl.
Pounding on the streets
Do the doors amd put some dash pods in
I'm one of the first 200 to sub to your second channel.
500w?
i am using soundcloud too doublsmm. its a great app
carwashgaming big whoop i've been using SoundCloud since early 2014
2500 watts on 2 Dayton 10 ultimax in a custom build Mustangs rear seat delete box tuned to 20hz. I can lightly hair trick w 2 10s. Its pretty wild. I love Dayton and will be a fan as long as they're around. It gets nasty. I can post a video of the flex. Those ultis take tonnnnnns of power clean.
Side bar straight pipe on a mustang sounds like gravel in a blender. Tried that to. Whipple 10lbs on v6. For lols. Straight piped it. Sounded like a farm truck 😂 100% would not recommend.
If you put two 10" subs in it, it would move a lot more. Plus it would sound better.
How much can I pay you to design me the exact subwoofer in this video ?
Is that a European registration on your car?
Now we need to see the Ultimax together with the Dayton playing together in your system
But the Ultimax is made by Dayton.
DubHead different models of sub though
How? The Ultimax is a model from Dayton.
But if you mean that he got different models, then yes.
Phase issues...
Adolf Hitler mixing subs in the same enclosure is a bad idea, different subs in different enclosures is gucci fam
good music rip peep
TNGclips1 music is an opinion, i personally dislike the drug addict's music, why do you think he's dead...
i know whys hes dead but its still a shame cause he could have made more music. and i like it
RWL2012 narcissistic.
is not recomended to use a splitter on galaxy s7. my galaxy s7 has a blown audio chip because of audio splitter
i just plug my audio splitter from my car to my phone, and my phone is over heating. and then i restart my phone but it won't turn on any more, after disassembled my phone i saw burn mark around audio chip
unless you were driving too low an impedance, its fine, this looked to be driving an amp and the head unit, so should be above 10k still, splitter musn't have been in properly, could've been shorting out the outputs
reason the car isnt flexing harder is just because it's just a 10''
i used to have a single 10'', flexed a little bit more than yours
changed it out to 2*12''
holy fucking flexing of holy mother god
You should hear the difference when you fold down your back seats!
What is the song name?
How do you send only bass to the subwoofer. What do i need to buy to cut of high notes. Where can i buy this
David Šeruga crossovers bro
isn't that the thing that splits up the frequency and u get low and high output.
David Šeruga there are subwoofer crossovers that cut frequency s above like 120 or whatever you want to
jose guzman where can i buy an external low pass filter
dont buy exactly this, any car amp should have a built in low pass filter, in this he just uses a domestic (wall powered) amplifier
to me, Dayton sounds great
go to a 12" sealed, small enclosure
Loudness and SPL are not the same. You'll learn that when designing a car sub woofer cabinet. ;)
I miss you bro
There is a lot of port noise tho
The reason your car is hardly flexing is simple, Its a German Car. These cars are just built very tough as compared to American or Japanese cars. I have 2 12" Alpine Type R's in my BMW 5 series clamped at 1500W RMS. The roof of the car is shaking, the rearview mirror is shaking with the windshield but its not shaking like other cars where it just twists and falls off. This shakes with the windshield as if its one piece with the windshield. There is a big difference in built quality with these cars as compared to others.
Do vlogs on your second channel
That's cute :) Inform yourself before starting with car audio.
Maybe this box is not for car
Ok, this is what u need for subs... 2 12' American Bass subwoofers, a 1600w amplifier, 2 more alternators, and 3 batterys, my dad has 3 12' and hit 146.4 dbs in a 4door f150 king ranch... if you want to see his truck look up this name... kandyman mike
Yes yes
wow.
bro come back
Ultimax and High end subwoofer are far better than car subwoofer tbh
put 2 10s in your car.
Or something like sundown sa 12 + a be ^^ i guess that would be much better considering of how much space his trunk has..
Less flex means more bass so technically speaking your car acts like a well braced subwoofer box
i'm #580 on your second channel!
thanks for the great content so far bro!
50k by the end of the year!!
Yu med a cap doooo
Tty a bigger sub box
Witchblades
