This research is so exiting to me! I'm obsessed with learning more about palmitoylethanolamide ever since PEA supplements have really been helping my wife. We just recently started taking MIRICA brand on recommendation of our doctor. It's made a difference in her pain levels as she has psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia.
I've been taking PEA every day for about two weeks, twice the dosage recommended on the bottle because I've been in so much pain, and I think it's starting to work.
I am getting mine in a couple days. Suffered most of my adult life I hope it helps with me too

Hi.. maybe I missed it, but do the researchers in the study specify the brand names of the P.E.A. and hemp extra they used? I recently bought Nootropics PEA and ReBotanicals Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Extract. Do you know the brand names of what they used in the study? Are the brands I bought appropriate? Thank you.

Great question! To our knowledge, this is the first study of its kind to demonstrate the synergistic effects of this combination, and the amplification of the effects from PEA. @@MetagenicsInstitute doctor prescribed me PEA and I bought a "levagen" version of it containing hemp oil too, i'm curious how it help/affect my chronic pain, i'm a bit skeptic, i just don't think it will be powerful enough. Now I'm taking something opiate like in Kratom.

@@LastTrump7 Typical intake for palmitoylethanolamide is more toward a total of 300-600 mg of PEA/day.
