Being a logger & road builder in Oregon, I Love That Shirt!! Ohhh gonna get a few of them 👍👍👍your family rocks the wood industry! Much Love to you in the East from us PNW loggers here! Keep up the honesty and hard work💯😁
I have been watching a few other milling channels and let me tell you nothing comes even close to the camera work, presentation and all-around class of this channel!
I bet you two would beat-up each other when you were kid's. Now, you work together like gears in a watch. Bravo-Zulu as we use to say, and have a good day!
Great video, like the explanation concerning extra length and straightness of log required for producing long beams. My experience with cant hooks has led to pushing away instead of pulling in case the hook slips off and whacks me. Enjoy watching.
Wow, that is massive! Have you ever milled any Spruce logs? The highest grade of Spruce is prized for building musical instruments, otherwise it is mostly used as interior dimensional lumber. I am looking to "clear-cut" about an acre or estimated 30k board feet. These are 65 year old "Christmas Trees". I helped plant them back in the mid 60's. Time goes fast Emerald. Your doing a great job and you and Jade are an encouragement to all those endeavoring to succeed in life if you were wondering.
I’m not sure it’s millable on a small band mill, I’d like to know if they have a way because everyone I’ve talked to won’t cut it, I tried to cut some myself and the blades walk all over. I think it’s the high density of the knots and low density surrounding wood that causes the issues. I’ve also had trouble with it breaking as it dries but I know it has to have its uses! I have about half a dozen more spruce logs and I’m torn on what to do with them
Wow God bless America !! These two hard working girls are what demonstrates the old school work ethic !! Awesome job girls im a fan keep up the great work 🙂
You and Jade are certainly unique Em. I don't think there's anyone else in America that can compare. Every video is a marvel of you two showing your ingenuity, cooperation and maturity on the job.
This is a bizarrely high level of production; very cinematic for such a genre. Kudos on the camera work, audio and editing. I'm just bummed I can't find better lumber around where I live... not that any of my carpentry is worthy of it yet.
Hi Ken👋 Your girls are having a tough time turning that log. Gonna have to get some bacon on that grill. 😅 Love the LT15. My son is working about 5 miles from your yard. I hope he stops by sometime to say hello. 👋
First time viewing this... wonderful to see women do this sort of work - and do it fantastically well. Great inspiration for women all over the world... These sorts of careers need more ladies.
Hi Emerald Ernie from Niagara Falls. Thank you for providing us with such informative videos of your lumber mill business. You and Jade are amazing at cutting all types and sizes of logs into finished lumber. Love your videos.
lovely! it is fun milling long logs isn't it. i worked at a mill for 30 year. just me and the boss. we once sawed out a 27 foot oak 8x8. that was a challenge. old school circular saw. i hope you continue to enjoy milling. i sure do miss it. best job i ever had.
I would have to say, long flowing hair is very appealing, but is it the safest thing to have it flowing around open working machinery like that? Simply asking from a safety perspective. Great video as always
I can't say I'm happy about the long hair, leaning over that machine. I know you've done it for years, but the day it goes bad is a day you'll not forget.
I've missed watching your videos and I'm trying to get caught up but one thing is for sure you both get your exercise turning the logs by hand just don't hurt your back
Hey y'all, that was just outstanding to watch. I like watching sisters working together on videos. You are the 2nd set of sisters Ive watched. But your videos are on another level. But being able to watch 2 beautiful young ladies womanhandle those logs and explaining the dynamics of milling logs is pretty cool in my book. I like your families whole operation and they are all on the ball. You both sure know how to a mill, thats for sure! I only have one concern and that is y'all's beautiful long hair. I have seen people get their hair in equipment. I once caught my long hair in a high speed oil pump I was testing. It can happen very fast. So please, think about it and consider y'all's options. Im sure a few others have mentioned this to y'all. You are both very nice hard working young ladies and we don't want anything to happen to either of you. Otherwise, things look great and thanks for the enjoyment. Take care now and God bless.
Emerald mentioned straightness or the lack of it in taller trees.. Is it possible to straighten them by holding a bent tree in a set of braces, or some sort of jig for several days in warm weather etc so it can settle and become truer for better results ?
So nice to see two capable young ladies get the job done.
So sexy yto see them now needing help
Amazing job young hardworking young ladies, Keep the great videos coming...

Always a joy to watch two industrious and gorgeous young ladies. I can almost smell the sawdust!
Mom and Dad raised you gals right.
Excellent job.
Emerald, all people have in life is there integrity , Give it your best, and be proud
Great teamwork Jade and Emerald. Both very hard working girls
Nice job, ladies! Thumbs up! Jim in Phoenix.
Two beautiful hard working young ladies!
Whew! That was some work in that big log. Awesome video 👍 Thanks
Nice to see the pride in the product you produce.😎
Customer service is key, Good job girls. 👍🙏
I bet you two would beat-up each other when you were kid's.
Now, you work together like gears in a watch. Bravo-Zulu as we use to say, and have a good day!
The plural of kid is kids, not kid’s which is possessive.😉
@@thierrytalon8600 You are kidding me, right?!. I would rather be "possessive" than "anal" like some people around here.
I love the team work and is very efficient. I'm learning every time I watch. Thanks!
You girls womanhandled that huge log marvellously! Great job. Have a great weekend LCLY! THUMBS UP EVERYONE! 👍👍
Thank you ladies for your hard work and explaining about the tree
Have a Great Weekend!
Great video, like the explanation concerning extra length and straightness of log required for producing long beams. My experience with cant hooks has led to pushing away instead of pulling in case the hook slips off and whacks me. Enjoy watching.
I'm so impressed with you both, one thing is for sure - you are not afraid of hard work and making sure you mill a great product.
Great Job
I had about givin up on this generation, but it's great to know there are still some who are very hard working! I love this channel.
Thanks! Interesting technical aspects of the biz. Enjoyed it.
I respect you young ladies so much for what you have going on there. Truly inspirational ❤
💛Thank you💙
💛For the enthusiasm💙
💛Including the lesson on mathematics💙
The dynamic duo is back working hard as usual Have a wonderful day everyone ❤📹👍👌😉
You are so on top of the game. You constantly show amazing knowledge and professionalism. Thank your parents. They are amazing! Big respect.👍

Interesting process, your end product came out smoother than I anticipated, one thing: Long hair and machinery don't mix but I'm sure you know this..
Wow God bless America !! These two hard working girls are what demonstrates the old school work ethic !! Awesome job girls im a fan keep up the great work 🙂
Emerald
You and you family show that hard work and rewards from that hard work are well worth it.
You and Jade are certainly unique Em. I don't think there's anyone else in America that can compare. Every video is a marvel of you two showing your ingenuity, cooperation and maturity on the job.
Not only that, but I love you and your whole family including Roxy to pieces. There's no one like you.♥♥♥
@Breon Family happy Belated, gotta love how the Queen of the LT15 makes cutting any Log like a dance, damn fine video. Thank you.
Hi from the uk that looks some very hard work turning it round but no mach for you 2 be safe 👍
Good job girls that's doing it the old-fashioned 👍🐝
Happy Friday guys 🎊
2 hard working and gorgeous young ladies
You girls are hard workers
You girls are awesome your parents must be proud 👏 😊
Wow the summer weather there is really nice…. thanks for your video I love it, and to hear you and seeing you is just wonderful 🌹❤️
Great video. Most don't understand the detail involved in processing logs, especially to customer requests. Thanks!
I'm impressed with the array of safety equipment you gals use.
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed! Cringe!!!
Roughly the equivalent of a chain mail bikini. I mean, I totally get why they're doing it, but it's still an accident waiting to happen.
They don’t work there it’s just for likes , no gloves long hair no glasses cringe
And in shorts all the time, really!!!
Love da Boss's clearing slabs, the exp millers doing theirs
Y'all are absolutely gorgeous. And your work is amazing. A fantastic family!
Working hard to please the customer is a rare thing these days. Thank you for running your business that way.
it's not that rare, actually.
I'm not a woodworker. I just enjoy watching her videos!

Beautiful love from Cambodia 😍😍😘
Emerald's thoughts are well organized
💛Ladiez got skillz💙
💙Every cut can be well utilized, havent seen, these skillz in a while, nice to see💛
💛Inspiring actually💙
💙Thank you Ladiez💛
Great work. I think you squeezed 180bf from the scaled 159bf, well done especially to get beams of that dimension.
Team work makes the dream work ,missed a few videos I’ll get caught up on ,great work ethic’s instilled in this family
Love the work you do and letting the world know.
great work young ladies

Got to hand it to you two: you really know how to run a mill.
Thanks!
Great video!! 👍🏼💜
Wow 😳,what an amazing piece of equipment! Amen!!!

Good information and great examples
wonderful and informative

I was thinking the same thing. I get it. UA-cam eye candy gets clicks, but their attire and dangling hair is an accident waiting to happen on that LT.
@@dukebeach1 yep.
Safety glasses and hair ties make me feel better. Great vid.
Good job ladies!!!👍👍
Hard work, great job on that log!
📼 3 📹 yes now yes
Most guys would love your depth of knowledge
Great Artisans. There, I said it! Trades. Work and fulfillment.
You two girls did a great job cutting that log for that special order
Always amazing you girls are great
Fluffed your time ⌚ thanks girls.
I'm not a logger but used Peevees plenty as a pile buck. Watching your ladies rolling those logs was fun for me, also what was dad doing??
Who needs to go to a gym when your hand milling timber, like how you both work together. 👍🤗
You girls sure work good together. Nice job !
well done nice big chunks of wood
I kind of wonder about the long hair around all the spinning machinery, so maybe add a band at the middle to keep the hair in the middle of the back ?
Hard-working people
Love the music! 😎
The Lumber Capital Log Yard Band sure was sounding good! 🎸🎻
That is one big stick!!!
Great job ladies!!
👍🐺🧙♂️🦊🤙
What do you do with the Bark slabs? It looked like your Dad was cutting them into a different length.
So you have to hand crank to feed the cutting head through the wood?
Tough girls. So pretty. Reminds me when people used to do hard work. So impressed with you girls. Thank you. And the reason is always 'that). ❤
I can't say I'm happy about the long hair, leaning over that machine. I know you've done it for years, but the day it goes bad is a day you'll not forget.
Best one yet !!

No
I am surprised you don't have power feed on LT 15. Love your channel ❤
They handle that wood like a pro..Great job
Do you guys save the sawdust? Could be turned into dustcrete mix.
Good job, girls!
