All songs gave different ❤️vibes..but I do missed their cultural musical instruments..as they were playing jerrycan..but my heart felt thanks to you for bringing such beautiful culture to us..🙏🏻
@@ashistamang8029 Jerrycan is very common in Zanskar.. most of the parties use them. But ya, a more traditional instrument would be better. I'am planning to donate a set of drums to the village when i go there this summer.
Wow..🙏🙏❤️ Really Appreciate what you are already doing(Solar Projects etc)..but you are unstoppable.. @India In Motion you have a compassionate heart ❤️..Thank you my Salute 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I feel like I am watching Netflix series of documentary on unique culture which is still untouched and unstained by the fast moving lifestyle of 21st century ..." Pure as water and old as early human civilization " ...Thank you so much for uploading such remarkable video....
Thanks for showing the true life of Ladakh people to the whole world. I am following since beginning what an amazing content you are giving. thanks to u
Being from the valley(zanskar) itself but haven't got an opportunity to visit Shadey village. Thanks for bringing it out to the world. This is so motivating and beautiful ❤
U showed what my eye missed, even standing there. Someone truly said sometimes our eyes are not sufficient to see or feel the thing , we need vision , and i always wonder how things look when u see through vision . And today i got to know the real meaning. Thank u sir ,much respect from zanskar
In the era of modernisation people have no time to spend a few minutes with their loved ones, but this video marked as a museum of memories to my heart ❤️ , thank you for this much effort, the milky way was also awesome, even though i am also from Ladakh still unaware about such beautiful culture which they still preserved , love for each other still exist . Much love God bless
The Himalayas are such a diverse and interesting place! I never thought I'd be interested in anthropology, but your videos have awakened something in me
I was continuously smiling ... it's so pure.. when people literally force you to eat.. 😄.. wish life is this simple and pure.. I think it was a long ago.. centuries ago.. thank u Anna for this great efforts
I was looking for travel vlog and not just yet another vlog but something which can satisfy my soul and then I found your channel, just just loving it. Thanks for making such video for everyone not possible to be there and experience the life. Thank you so much and lot of respect.
The life which is devoid of material pursuits seems most fulfilling one. Thank you for bringing out these unfiltered stories of humankind. May peace and happiness always come your way.
Sheer happiness on each and every face in this video ♥️ Its true that money can’t buy happiness 🙏 living in such harsh and remote place, we cannot even imagine what problems these people go through. But they drive power from their roots, rituals and unity and spreads nothing but positivity ♥️ Saravana, thank you for bringing this side of Zanskar in light 🙏
You are welcome Akash.. Yeah, these people have gone through a lot of trouble to survive in such a remote place. Infact, 2 or 3 of their neighboring villages are abandoned and its people have moved on to different locations. However the people of Shade are determined to stay there and continue their way of life. Well, atleast this generation will stay put, I do not know about the next one.
Wonderful, amazing, there is no words to express my feelings after watching this beautiful documentary, what an amazing culture, full of life, especially their festival and gathering with their families, neighbours and friends. The best content you share ever. Keep it up and keep sharing such a beautiful videos.
The first song is actually about the 14th Dalai Lama. It includes words like, 'rTsa-vey lama' and 'Tenzin Gyatso' - His Holiness real name.😊Yet beautiful video sir🙏👍

Another classic presentation of visual delight.... I have watched lots of documentaries in the past and most of them have trouble explaining the local names and expressions. Your videos have the exact pronunciation and minimum spelling mistakes. This results in a perfect output and wherever this video reaches it explains the correct knowledge about the place, people and the culture of Zanskar. Hats off to the research and editing. Considering the fact that it's a one man's work, it's indeed a great work done. Mashallah. May God bless you sire. May you keep on creating wonderful videos which I observe that you enjoy making and for us, we also as viewers enjoy a lot watching your videos. Thanks a ton for the visual delight of Zanskar.
It is a great feeling to watch my village losar celebration on UA-cam, great video sir..it remain cut off from the outer world in winter and you give a chance to get a glimpse of my beautiful village..it is heart touching ....

It's simply a masterpiece sir.......... No one can do it better than you. Huge fan and great respect for your work sir. Its simply mesmerising and breathtaking. 🙏💯❤️👌☮️
Such a soul touching....few of the rituals and traditions were just similar to Hindu New year "Diwali" like meeting and greeting eachother except drinking Chang. Enjoying food and chit-chat together. Another similarity was of ChotChang which was sung however, we in Gujjus sing in marriage functions just to tease inlaws a bit in a sarcastic way. Thank you for taking us virtually to this other part of India 🙏☺️
Your videos are not only documentaries but also engravings of past & present of rich Indian cultural heritage charished since centuries to be preserved for future. I would like to request you to document the cultural heritage of North - Eastern India that has long been over looked by mainland. Wish you the best.
Fantastic. I have a few questions. The indigenous narrator with you speaks - I guess - Ladakhi, but I could understand an English word twice (one was 'for example'). Is their language getting diluted with English? Does this New Year celebration coincide with 'our' January 1? Do these four families intermarry, do they also marry people from other villages? Do they still practice polyandry? The people are very warmly dressed, is there any heat in these homes at all? I could go on, but I'll stop here
I will try to answer your questions as best as I can... 1) The part of the narration you are referring to is in Hindi. The original interview was in Ladakhi and my friend at the village was explaining it to me in Hindi. His explanation was actually more interesting to me than the original interview, so i used it in the video. 2) They follow the Lunar Calendar and this year their New Year was on January 3'rd. 3) The marriages usually happen between villages. Shade traditionally has close relations with the Stongde village across a 5000m pass. So most of the brides and grooms at Shade as from Stongde. 4) The new generation (i.e people marrying now) do not practice polyandry. 5) It is around -20C outside and the rooms are heated by a single stove in the middle of the room. So the people sitting away from it need to wear warm clothes to be comfortable.
enjoying watching your videos since long, great to see the remote century old culture.. in recent videos of your's saw few of village people are wearing Black glasses why so
