Can the replaced home button work well on iPhone 7/ 7 Plus?

Not complete locked.. Just after restoring/upgrading iOS with new home button, you can still shut down iPhone 7 and after turning on, you are in the point where iOS ask language settings, there you can go on and you can take the iPhone 7 back in use. But without home button feature offcourse . Just don't let the screen turn off after restore/upgrade.

The home button will not work because it is tied to the motherboard unless you replace the motherboard and the Home button.
