I have a really weird tip for getting golden rule. If you take Ocean's Bounty *from a miniboss room* you can use The Artificer on the ash/psyche it drops to guarantee a second poseidon boon from the miniboss chamber.
I knew my eyes didn't deceive me. I commented in chat about the Hecate clones having different torches, making the real one easier to see. I don't know if it was a bug, but Hecate's torches didn't have flames during the entire fight. This is the only time I've ever noticed this happening. This bothered me the rest of the day and made me wonder if I was just seeing things and making up nonsense. lol
@@chsr357 yeah, there's some pretty useful audio cues you can get with headphones, you can hear where Cerberus emerges before using his area attack, where enemies are hidden in big rooms and above all else where the golden tree is located in mourning fields.

Plus I'm a fan of "flawed" runs like these where it's easier to know what parts you can get creative with without it being peak So, thanks for the time!!
My favorite weapon in the first game was the bow and the whole thing of multiple honing arrows really impacted how I approach a fight, so the blades in this game are the closest I’ve gotten to being able to use the bow again which is fun
If I remember correctly, Lim and Oros is a bit weird in that the omega part of the omega special is only summoning the knives and each knife damage is considered a normal special no matter where the knives came from. You can kinda see that in the damage charts. Also think flick knives count as a normal special I think in this case Hearth gain would have also been really good here. Edit: Oh I guess they fixed it? It was definitely like that in patch 2
maybe you're going to get to it in this, but i noticed for aspect of pan on thedaggers, if you get a special boon that increases the omega magick spent to do the omega, you also get more daggers thrown

İ have a build that two-shots and even one shots chronos. İt uses aspect of artemis, flutter strike ( heroic preferably), explosive ambush, escalating ambush, riposte and any decent magic regen. The only thing you need to do is to level flutter strike to 200% percent which is level 4 or 5. You can get reduced magic with chaos or plus attack damage, doesnt really matter.

This build with the old scorch boon that explodes at 300 and scorch special was my favorite. But they removed it recently I think. Daggers are my favorite anyways 😍 great run!
43:02 since you have aimed the video at people who are in need of help it is safe to assume that they don't have as many rolls as you, so not getting everything is actually helpful to see that it isn't the end of the word and the damage is still there if just one thing doesn't work out. How important is it to have the aspect upgraded for the build? (Again, because players who need theese videos probably don't have the aspects at a high level if they haven't downloaded a save file where everything is maxed out)
01:00 That's something that's always Irritated me in Hades 1 and I was hoping it would Change in Hades II. 😤 Boons should Adapt to your Weapon's DPS. 🤔
27:32 Actually Eco can Double your Hammer in the 3rd Chamber if you picked it up in the 1st Chamber... How ? Easy... Just pick up an *Onion* in the 2nd Chamber 😂 Echo can't double Onions so she goes back to whatever you had before the Onion. 🤓
There's nothing wrong with *Double Up* ... The problem with *Concave Stone* here is one of the Boon's from Poseidon was going to Replace *Smolder Ring* which was a Duo Requirement.... Having the Keep Sake on had a 50/50 Chance of taking that Boon instead of something harmless. I've had my Builds ruined like this numerous times before. 🥺
unrelated but i hope they change death back, it sucks. nearly no build goes for more than 1 omega/or even dmg type, maybe momus could use it but even with momus i find myself just putting most of my focus on omega attack + something like smolder ring+gale force for origination. anyway bring the crit chance back ;-;
but why, tho? old Death meant you dealt 10% more dmg, on average, sure it's for basically everything but that meant small hits were also taken into account which could average on even less dmg gained... and even then, there often were better card options, imo. oh, you forgot aspect of Persephone, btw, Death is almost perfect for it and sure, not every other aspect directly benefit from using 2 different omegas, but there are always omega casts as a last resort, they do quite a good chunk of damage even if you don't build heavily into them and the possibility to crit makes them worth it. if you use it perfectly it's a 30% dmg increase, on average, but it's still kinda situational, I'd say there are still better cards depending on your build goal
@@ruxbon with old death, you would generally want it on when doing omega focused builds, rn im swapping for artificer because its just better imo. and your point about omega casts i already kinda adressed, i personally like using non omega casts such as smolder ring+gale force because its insane dps, utility, furies and origination all in one. and ignoring furies is losing 30% dmg so its not worth to do i feel again, its just my opinion. i also say that because apart from demeter, on all aspects it makes you think about an extra thing, which imo arcana cards generally dont. apart from origination and furies (which can be solved by a single normal cast both at once)
@@stitchfruit3538 I don't understand the argument about the old card being desirable for omega focused builds if the current one works exclusively for omegas, except that now it incentivizes you to use more than just one type of them you can still use the omega cast when using smolder ring + gale force, they're not mutually exclusive, you still get their dps, the furies, origination, with the addition of damage in the end of it, at the cost of 15 magick and maybe a second or so of channeling. sure, you might not be able to use it between every omega attack or special, so your omegas might not benefit all the time, but the odds are technically better and more impactful and I'm almost sure you can crit more than once if the ability you're using hits multiple times, but I don't rly pay attention to that so I might be wrong about it I get that it's not as "free" as before, but I don't think that card was that strong, it was barely ever worth it, tho that's just my opinion, as well. and I'm only discussing bc it's good to talk abt the game, it's okay if you disagree with me
Unfortunately, Blast doesn't activate with every hit count like Poseidon. 2 sec Blast (plus Hestia duo) works better with Heartthrob proc/Room Temperature builds.
