Hi, that was really nice, you hangin loose and kickin back and enjoying some prime time, and we are lucky to come along, big thanks,, I feel spoilt Mako is one cool entertaining dude
Getting close to 100K Lauren. That's a sign of how much hard work you have put in and how much that is appreciated by the people that discover your channel. Great job. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Once again, the wonderful princess of the Caribbean envelops us with her delicious adventures. If the beaches had a treasure,...she would be the true treasure of the beach (with permission and respect). Thanks Lauren.
Watching Laura from day one on UA-cam leaves me asking what is the end of the story? Every good book leaves the reader asking the same question. My guess is that she becomes a yacht broker. What ever she decides to do it will be a huge success. Myself and other experienced sailors are concerned about her sailing around the world alone. After the first passage, if she survives her plans will change. Cross an ocean first before you plan to sail around the world, everyone says.
Love that you have a "fetch kitty." We'd owned (or been staff to) many cats in our lives, but we'd never known a fetch kitty before our current cat. Throw a toy and have her bring it back to throw again? She had to train us, but we're now her favorite toy throwers. Properly trained staff....
Hi Lauren. I wish I could learn to sail and do exactly what you are doing. The ability to move with the wind to different destinations seems incredible. As usual, your video is a lot of fun to watch. Please give Mako a hug and kiss from someone who has rescued a lot of cats and loves them dearly. He's got a great temperament and I love watching him play. Stay safe out there.
just started watching your channel- so for enjoying it a lot. I have been with all types of boats for 75 years ( I am 86) Lived on the Connecticut coast for 45 years. Worked in a Wood Boat yard in Ct. in the 1940s and 50s when in school. Owned a 40-foot yaul when I was 14. Brought for 400 comics and $ 20.00. Built a 17-foot Pacific Dorey Last year. Best. Don
Those washers are a total game changer! I picked one up for my van conversion. Water is a precious commodity in the southwest. But they don't use much. And not having to schedule a laundry day ,(two) mainly because of travel time, opened up a new chapter. A little convenience to some of us makes all the difference. If you are sailing the turquoise blue or desert. Having to stow and go, just for clean sheets and gatchies is always a bump in the road. And I love how the clothes are almost dry when the spin cycle is done. Yeah it does sound kinda goofy getting excited over a washer. But two days away from absolute beauty and tranquility really does flatline the mojo! Still havent found my sailing partner yet. Ive looked at a lot of boats. None of them has spoken too me yet. But when she whispers , i know of a little cove, I'll be empting out the land yacht and setting the main for the southern cross. Mako reminds me of my cat. Ducky, yeah, its a weird name, but I let them name themselves. He just so happens to love water. But plays like a dog. I never had a cat before him. Ive always had dogs. But they have amazing personalities! Im watching this video because i was woken up with sandpaper kisses at 5:30. But a cup of coffee and doing some catching up made for a pretty good start to my day off. I hope you are enjoying your break and feeling rejuvenated. Happy travels Lauren.
Hey Lauren, great episode as always. It was interesting discovering a different chapter of your life. Not like when you were taking charters, a slower pace, more guided by the weather. It was impossible not to feel the new freedom you now have. Thank you for sharing it all with us. I could be wrong but I think Mako likes your boat with less people on board. He has you all to himself.😻😼 I am sure these small steps are good prep for when the bigger ones come down the road. I am looking forward to the livestream on Saturday, so for now I just wanted to tell you what a great job you are doing, telling your story. Until the next video comes out, please be safe, be happy, and trust your skills and knowledge to tell you when to move on. I know leaving is never easy, but life without new discoveries is not living. 💙😊💙😊💙😊💙
Good morning Miss Landers, Doug here sweetheart . Mainly just wanted to say .. Thank you dear for sharing your adventures with all of us . Love ya Doug
Sometimes I wish that there was more than just a "like" button. I love all of Louren's videos, and I dont know that just hitting the like button tells Lauren how much we really like her videos. 💘
Hi Lauren ... I wish you all the best in your journey sailing alone ... Thank's for your videos that make us dreaming about same life as yours ... many thanks for that ... God bless you.
I play in the rain, love the yearly tropical rain storms that come down along Florida's west coast each year at the same time s, i plan my trips aroubd those times , just before they turn on the hurricane machines, but my first father in law, 50 yrs ago or so,i was 16, was deadly afraid of any storm, used them to terror his family and abuse them, i m pretty sure you need a place to put your boat in those times, way way far away
I just started watching your videos, and love everyone of them. As a young kid, I spent 30 days doing the Bahamas I loved every bit of that I haven’t been back scents. Just wanted to thank you for your videos. Would you allow us to live our dreams through you. Keep the journey going. Stay safe and enjoy. Thank you again.
Great to see that that big smile on your face. You are in a beautiful place . So when you leave where are you headed. Keep filming love the videos. Papajack
Hello Lauren!! Finally waiting for the video! Thank you!!! It's already difficult to live without your video))) Miko is the highlight of the program as always))))) Well, you are simply gorgeous!!
What a beautiful location that was and it's so nice to see that wonderful healthy happy glow on your face again 😁 I'm so happy you bought a washer I saw the 2 day laundry vlog 😉
Hi, very nice time and places with you, thanks, looking around on the paddle board was fun, such a beautiful area to kickback and enjoy and a social drink with a meal, primo times 🦈
I think u just made a good decision to have a washer and dryer because it is really expensive to go out to the laundry shop It's time consuming, parking space, even ur dingi gas. Maybe you can ask for help with your good freinds Ralf n Sascha for a little renovation, co'z I've seen their amazing kitchen and it has really huge space and comfort for your laundry space, but this is just a suggestion, and somehow I know it will cost a lot of time in your blog and privacy, but comfort is gonna be there ahead of your journey😊, pls don't get mad it just a suggestion😍 because I love u'r channel specially macko🙀 9:53
Love your lifestyle. Started sailing after I retired and moved to the Caribbean. After Irma and Maria, moved back to the states. I live vicariously through your channel. ✌️❤️
I have the same washer too. My clothes have never been so clean. And he spin dry works very well. It shakes and you have to hold it down. But it's powerful.
As for your plans: Cross an ocean maybe one of them. Mako, although being a cat, is an open ocean-shark. And you are loving it to be solo. Go for it: Atlantic west to east.
Love the washer! We are looking at different types also so happy to hear you like it. Just finished the passage your doing and it was amazing! All the best!
Leaving some place you love is never easy but remember that you will be back some year. The nice part of your travels is that you get to decide how fast or slow you want to go. Re member to always take a break if you are feeling stressed so you can enjoy your trip better. We will follow you when you go.
Beautiful video, Lauren! Love, Meiko, playing fetch with the zucchini. I noticed the different various veggies on the deck that was pretty cute. Thank you so much. Sending love from California.💜⛵️🤗😎🫶🇺🇸
Very enjoyable, relaxing video, Lauren! It’s fun when you’re surrounded by lots of people and doing all kinds of stuff, but it’s nice to have you all to ourselves also!😊. Have fun, be safe.❤
Really nice video! You seem much more relaxed and seem to have shifted into a great headspace. Congrats on the washing machine. I imagine with swimwear and light summer clothes it's easy to keep up now. I have a cat (Sable) that looks very similar to Mako. She watches with me and likes to jump up on the TV or computer screen and interact with Mako when he is in the shot. Cats are such a joy and amazing creatures.

Lauren, you need to get a high output alternator for your engine. They do something like 400 amps. It would charge your batteries in no time. You might have to upgrade your dc/DC converter though. Food for thought.
My solar keeps my batteries charged 90% of the time😊
