Most people go to IKEA occasionally, mainly to buy furniture, while Chili's is more of an after work/weekend place to chill with family and friends without the need for cooking and washing dishes. Also, America's food culture is an amalgamation of the various cultures of those who live here: pizza, BBQ, tex-mex, Chinese food, shawarma, etc. BTW, IKEA makes the best cinnamon rolls in the world, but I still will buy them from HEB, lol.
