Just wondering. In the UK we tend to have hot custard with many of our dryish looking cakes or dessert pies. Is that something you have tried and not really taken to, or not wanted to do in case it alters the taste of the dessert you are actually reviewing ? 🙂
They both love custard, but they try the item as intended to get the full flavour and texture, it’s then down to anyone’s preferences if they add, custard, cream or ice cream.
Years ago Marie Callender's came out with a apple crumb pie with frosting and it was really good.. I tried to find it the next year around Thanksgiving and it was out which was a shame cause it was really good.
My sister loves the chocolate cakes from IKEA. I personally like the one better that’s served in the restaurant (it’s different then the one you reviewed), but the restaurant is unfortunately closed at my location.
Those would be huge servings of both desserts. I can’t imagine eating 1/5 of that pie at a setting. IKEA foods are so hit and miss. Their chocolate bars and varieties are what I generally get.
Hi Folks. Thanks for taste testing these and giving your honest opinion. I haven't been to a IKEA in decades. Didn't know they sold food there. Tfs and sending Cali love. XOXO :)
I love it when u & Kevin do the taste testing. We don't have a ikea store here. And I haven't seen them at walmart , hy-vee , or Fareway
These look delicious, not seen them in the 🇬🇧, but will look out for them when next at IKEA. Thanks for the review.
Our pleasure!
They look delicious!
I appreciate your vdeos ❤️.
Your videos are awsome
Thank you so much 😀
I'm surprised the chocolate one didn't have some kind of covering on it in the box to keep it fresher.
The chocolate one looks delicious and would be my choice.

The all time best dessert at Ikea is the Daim Chocolate Almondy Swedish Almond Cake. nothing else even comes close. 😂

They both look delicious to me but the chocolate one REALLY looked delicious.
Did you heat it up before eating? I know alot of frozen desserts like that need to be heated up after defrosting
No, this one is not supposed to be heated.
Mmm, the chocolate one looks gooey and good! But good point, you could just make brownies.
