  • The Stander B is the perfect commercial mower for "lower utilization" or entry level applications. Offered in both small (32", 36") and large (48", 52") frame options, the Stander B serves many needs for commercial landscapers. The Stander B gives the operator the performance that Wright Standers are known for, in a much higher value package!

Hi Ed, great overview we are completely sold on these machines - based on an extensive research of stand-on mowers we selected the Stander B as a Prosumer user...we could not be more pleased. With your present pricing strategy no one can touch the ROI that these series of mowers offer. The simplicity of operation is such that my wife now does our lawn, it has become difficult to get much time on the machine. My only frustration is with the merchandise availability, we have been waiting over 8 weeks for a couple of T shirts!

Ed thanks for all the videos you make. Your honest high quality videos are one of the big deciding factors in choosing a Wright mower. Keep up the great work :) Are there any plans to add a factory chute blocker so we can order straight from the factory specified rather than having to go aftermarket?

Hey Ed, at 16:58 you're talking about the new pulleys and I notice you don't have the original pulley guard on them - shaped like a Y over the pulley...I have the B52 and my shop replaced the pulleys (and hats off to Wright for making that easy for the consumer - Thanks!) but they put the pulley guards back on and they seem to be rubbing the pulleys. Again, at 16:58 you don't have them on. Should they stay on? Or should I just remove them? Thanks!

Love my stander b 48" so far. This is my second season on it and put about 100hrs on it so far. Just added the striping kit a couple weeks ago and it seems to strip good but I might bump the stripe kit down to the other holes and see how that looks. No problems so far with it and I'm 6'1" 250lbs and I seem to be able to handle the hills with it better than I expected.

Have run my Stander-B 48" for two seasons now and like it very much. Nimble, well-balanced, good on slopes,, consistently good cutting. The Kawa engine is a beast (wear both your ear plugs and muffs). Engine oil changes are easy-peasy though removing the deck to get to the blades is less than fun. Will be changing the transmission fluid and filters soon and that looks like it will be challenging -- Ed, how about a demo video for this task for the larger Stander-B's, one where you don't use an extraction pump? Overall very pleased and would recommend.

My guess is because of the muffler guard. Has anyone els experienced this issue? What can i do to eliminate the heat from hitting me in the face.

Wright is a top name in the lawn industry!! Why would you put your name on this product to compete with some junk names? Wouldnt buy anything but a wright but had bought a rapid height back in the day and had to junk it after a year.. Keep making products better dont loose your good reputation by making something you know is junk.. Have seen your mowers with 8-9k hours and still going good so i know you guys know quality.

@@NewVisionLCS I had a short video on my page you can look at. Within the first 10 hours the spring that connects to the tension pulley broke in the middle of a yard and had to be replaced by warranty. Right after I got my mower back I then started to hear a rattle noise and after inspecting the mower a bolt was missing from the exhaust hanger, took it to the dealer and turns out the head was stripped and they needed to helicoil it to get a new bolt in. THEN I got my mower back and still heard a horrible rattle noise when the blades were engaged, after contacting wright directly they sent a representative directly to my house and turns out the pulley that connects to the crank was bent somehow and they replaced the entire pulley under warranty. All within 16 hours of use on residential yards. Wright was very responsive to the issues after I reached out directly. Other than those issues I really do like the mower but worries me it only has a 1 year warranty
