See, everyone take note because every other company has some super cinematic commercial with music and animation which promotes it but doesn’t explain a whole lot. This video is good because it’s the CEO explaining everything directly and in depth all while he’s the one filming.
We don't have time for that cinematic drama, and it would make our mowers more expensive than they already are. -Ed
@@WrightMowers Just for entertainment purposes though, maybe a quasi-theoretical "not a commercial" Commercial with all the bells and whistles - showing off what Wright ads might look like if they were to advertise like the competition? LOL. anyhow, good stuff - like what I see.
I am fully into this company. You said it. These other companies spare no expense on their ads.
Huge Props to Ed and his team. He not only.believes in his product.
His name and the face is synonomous with it. Taking the time to show all there is to know about the machines, doing shootouts with other mowers. No boasting during them. The unbiased side by side comparisons are informative and pure class in its simplicity. I plan to to support this co. exclusively.
"Red Mowers Are Bad Luck"
Thank you Sir for always keeping us in the loop. Quality machines at its finest 😁🤙
You are the man ed,It is my goal in my first year of business to own one of your amazing machines.I literally cannot wait.
Thanks.
Can’t wait to purchase it hopefully next year after season!
Looks great Ed, It may be on my shopping list this spring.
Thanks, Ed
I purchased a 52 today from Kollmer. Thanks for offering this model Ed.
Thanks for choosing us. -Ed
That's beautiful, love the price drop I will definitely be picking one of these for my upcoming season!
Thanks. I suggest you let your dealer know so they can put your name on one. -Ed
Ed, very nice. Excellent video. I'm looking forward to visiting your plant before the season starts.
That would be great. Let us know if we can set up a time. -Ed
Thank you Ed, I will.
Looks sharp Ed, I like it.
Great from someone getting the in game.
Ed you are so cool brother! Love Wright mowers!
This might be my saving grace! I had my mower stolen last year so instead of have to buy used I can buy new!!! Great idea!
Also awesome to see you not patent the safety wheels on the back!
Sounds like a good fit.
I’m buying one next week. 🤘🏼
How do you like it? I'm considering getting a 36 inch model
Looks awesome
Thanks. -Ed
Very sharp overview, I am currently a Scag man, but you have me reconsidering with this machine and price point.
Thanks for reconsidering, we would value your business. -Ed
You sure don't see any other manufacturer making unedited videos like this.... love it! Can you do a detailed video like this for the Wright Stander X gen 2?
Good idea. -Ed
Picking one up tomorrow, going to do a review on it
Thanks, Ed
Can't wait for my shipment to come in. Will definitely have to have 1 as a DEMO
Awesome! -Ed
Are you going to put out a 36 inch version of this mower? Kevin and Karen @ Poland's lawn care Virginia Beach Virginia
Spolier they did
Good price point and nice machine. The only thing I didn't like was the 11 guage deck. Very well thought out entry level stander. Good job.
Thanks. -Ed
I already bought mine I like it
👍 -Ed
My friend it doesn't matter which machine anybody get from Y'ALL I guarantee it's going to a fine piece of equipment made in the USA!!! Nice mower.
Thanks.
Love the mower, can’t wait to purchase, but i would recommend a 36” option. I use a 36 much less, so i want a littler cheaper machine, even if it is a little lower in quality!
I understand. This frame is for 48 and 52 and we'd make a lot of compromises if we had tried to make it carry too broad of a range of decks. -Ed
Ed I’m hearing from a few guys using the B series saying if you go below 3 1/4 on deck height belt pops off or wears it out within 2 weeks? What could fix that I usually cut down here in Tn at 3 on most yards and 3.5 on some
Where are the purge valves for the transaxles on the 48?
I do around 25 yards a week. Perfect price. Does it handle hills well? I have a few properties with larger hills.
You can tell you're in love with this business.
I enjoy what I do. -Ed
Sir nice mower, how do you adjust the stander b platform to make it firmer since a lot of guys complaint it's to bouncy, and will 2020 stander b get a bigger motor, Thks
May look into getting one next. Year
Thanks, Ed
Great price on a 48” stander. Will be looking for one on display somewhere near me.
Thanks. -Ed
I wish they where still the price mentioned in this video!!
My 52 standard B stalls out only with 7 and 1/2 hours on it and it was shooting flames out of the exhaust when it stalled out
What kind of add ins are available for the Stander B?
What is the blade tip speed on the 48" model?
Thanks Ed.. The 48" deck was always a bit too big for me... and 36" a bit to small. Will this baby come in 42" with two blades (less sharpening)??.. I know you offer this in a 42" in the Intensity.. Thanks so much..
Sorry, not anytime soon. The B is really a larger frame machine and overkill for a 2 bladed mower. I understand what you are looking for tho. -Ed
You used to have one of these that one could sit or stand on, do you still have that?
can you add striping kits to these? I am about to trade in a mint Simplicity Conquest after I moved down to the south and can't get the deck high enough to cut tall fescue properly
Can you get tweels with the stander b?
Team , great video but can we see budget mowers like the wright stander b in action for the poor man budget guys just starting out👍👍👍👍👍
Sir , great video but can we see this budget mower in action for us average guys with small pocket books , 👍👍👍👍
Could you tell me how wide the area you stand on is? Super excited to get one of the 52"s on order.
Not in front of one now, but it's somewhere around 2ft wide. -Ed
I was just wondering I didn't see a stripe and kit on the standard b are you offer a striping kit for it
Yes, as a kit. -Ed
These only come in 48 and 52 inch decks?
any plan to make a residential mower?
32” or 36” on this one? I was looking at a stander small but don’t like how there fixed decks. I Like the floating deck. If so what’s the price tag on a 32/36”?
The price is right. Check our website for current prices. -Ed
Ed. Are these coming to Canada? Also do you have plans for a 36"?
Absolutely. Perfect fit for CA considering skyrocketing prices and import fees. No 36 yet. -Ed
I just put my $200 deposit on a standard b48.. My B should be delivered next week... It's an awesome mower
Super, thanks. -Ed
Love were the price is at defiantly have to look at price for flat free tiers on the front
Yup. -Ed
What zise is blades belt
i was just online comparing the I,X, for the 52" But that price tag then i see this and say yeah. I think im going to buy the more expensive model due to the build. Its a Wright mower im sure the B model is just as strong as the others.
Yes, if you are cutting daily than you should look at the X. -Ed
Ed was that a fs541 or fs651 engine. You said the first but the machine had the later on it?
Sorry, that's what I get for shooting on the fly. it's the FS651. -Ed
You said the 52 inch is about 5200 dollars.... Where can I get one for that? The local dealers are about 700 to 900 higher than that.
I currently run another brand of yellow and sit down only thus far. I have been interested in stand on's for a while now but i didn't have any customers at that point that i felt it would benefit enough to have a stand on. Enough of that but I am curious on what these weigh, more specifically the 52".
Most are around 700lbs. -Ed
@@WrightMowers thanks Ed, from Ed.
great looking mower. problem I see is clear fuel tank turns yellow and gets dirty. Then you 're stuck opening cap to see level.
Yes, that can happen but newer UV additives are better at resisting that and it lives most of its life "in the shade" of the console. -Ed
@@WrightMowers thank you.
We purchased a Wright Stander B for our small landscaping company this year and it's been a wonderful addition, but I haven't been able to find any add-on items for it? Is there a seat available? Grass catchment add-on? Some type of trashcan/bag to hook to mower? If there are items such as these that are available for purchase, where in the Carolinas?
Hi, Yes, there is a debris bag, stripe kit, mulch kit, grass catcher, and flat-free tire option. -Ed
@@WrightMowers is the flat free tire on the 48’’ standard now or still just an option if so what’s the cost
Once I see one in my dealer I’m going to buy a 48 inch wright stander b
Best pre-order it. Because it's a mid-Winter launch, there won't be enough to go around.
Would buy a 36 if available. Traded in my 36 I for a 52 ZK, still need a small mower
The Stander B is just 48 and 52. You have to move over to the Intensity for 36". -Ed
Hey Ed I have a 2010 WVP5217KAWRE owned since new. lower hours still running strong. would this be a upgrade?
Yes! -Ed
Try buying one of these in Kansas City. None of the dealers even give you the time of day. I've left two dealers with $10,000 in my pocket. Oh well.
Hi Ed -- I'm a homeowner who will be purchasing a standing-type mower before the 2020 cutting season, and I am waist deep in researching these machines, especially the Wright brand. Dealer visits will be happening soon. I would like to know your opinion on transmission vs. pump and motor (Stander B vs. Stander Intensity). For non-commercial use on small acreage (
What did you end up buying? Happy?
@@eshott2935 Bought a Stander B with the 48" deck. Never did resolve the question about transmission vs. pump and motor, though. Controls took some practice, and the Kawa 651 engine requires both ear plugs and muffs, otherwise a completely awesome machine. Thoughtful engineering. Definitely recommend.
Will they be coming to the uk 🇬🇧 Edd waiting for demo
Not yet, but I'd love to see it there. -Ed
Ed what about the idea something like a fixed deck but with that deck adjustment like this machine still a commercial grade but maybe able to make it at a lower price then a X? Maybe give your engineering mind something to look at
I think this machine is pretty much what you describe. It's still commercial, just not ridiculously beefy like our other models. -Ed
I thought the stander b was going to come in the 32 or 36 as well?
Just a large frame, 48 and 52
Not sure about it. Rather have an zk I will keep saving for my first zk.
Nice!
Hey buddy are these available now?
Yes! Get em while the're hot. -Ed
How is the cut quality on this compared to the zks
Same airflow inside the deck. The ZK will always do a little better because of the ridiculous amount of power it has. -Ed
I was thinking of going with a Bradley mower because it was cheaper. But I would rather get a wright. For $500 more it sounds like this one would be a good fit. Are you guys doing a 36 in as well?
The Bradley has the better transmission though
@@andrewstratton7095 and engine from the looks of it..I am just worried about the build quality of the Bradley . I just don't want to walk this year.
when will this model of mower be available?
There are some out there but not enough. You will have to pre-order one. -Ed
They should have a 36inches stander B
Good idea. -Ed
Hey Ed you mentioned the belt gets angled down causing more wear. I assume there is a sweet spot where the belt runs as flat as possible. What cutting position would that be?
How does it strip? If it strips good ill go buy over a V-ride 2.
You can buy a stripe kit for the scag and most of these other companies offer them too.
Great mower! Do you think you might build a 32 walk behind floating deck or stand on? Exmark has a 32 stand on mower. I’m definitely interested in 32 floating deck. I like to hear your feedback. Thank you very much
This machine is really a full frame 48" and 52". I hear your input, and thank you for it. -Ed
What's the weight on 48 in?
About 750lbs. Still a sturdy unit. -Ed

Where is a Wright dealership in Fort Myers/Cape Coral, Florida?
Schaefer Lawn Care and Property Maintenance LLC thank you.
@@davidarevalo5413 i saw other places kinda in the area if those aren't great. Go to Wright's website and locate a dealer by zip code.
Schaefer Lawn Care and Property Maintenance LLC , will do. Thanks again. Looking to buy one or two.
36 inch
And price?
Just 48 and 52 for now.
Hey buddy how can I get a demo?
Prolly wont be demos until next year when he has stock on hand.
Check with your dealer. I can't guarantee it because there are none in inventory and most will sell when they get in.
What is the price for it
Around $6k
Awesome simple machine put 20 hours on mine no problems. Just blow off every use and your set
Thanks! We try to make everything low maintenance. Once you get home at the end of the day you don't want to fuss with it. -Ed
Whats the price point?
I can feel the days are getting longer again! I can't wait either. -Ed
@@WrightMowers you said mowers come with Kawasaki fs541,video shows bigger engine
Price?

5000-5500
Your dealer will have to quote you. Introductory price for 2019 is about $5200 for 52" deck. -Ed
I do around 25 yards a week. Perfect price. Does it handle hills well? I have a few properties with larger hills.
Yes, handles slopes great. -Ed
