This was an awesome video. Thanks so much for sharing. I've been a loyal Wright owner since 2013. Still have every one I've ever bought. They all serve me well. Anybody that thinks a Wright mower costs too much should have to watch this video.
Thanks for taking the time to watch! It was really a fun time going through right headquarters and checking everything out. So much to see. Only saw a glimpse of what goes on. But very thankful they took the time to show me.
@Micahslawnmaintenance I would love to try out the LG! Looks like a nice solid mower. I like the engine option too. Ran it for a little bit at Equip Expo. Platform and Pad is a lot nicer than the ZK.
You know your getting old when you started your landscape company the same time Bill Wright did 🤪🤪 Ed Wright sure is a smart young man and runs a great company God bless our industry 👍🙏
Absolutely! Ed has a wealth of knowledge and is always a pleasure to visit with and learn from. Definitely appreciate Ed and Jeremiah taking the time to share their stories and really show how much goes in to making a really incredible product!
what a nice pair of brothers to take a tour with. No wonder the Wright brand is well thought of today. I might consider looking at one of their mowers for this coming season. good tour. Thanks...
Yeah, they are definitely great guys to give a tour of the facility. They’ve been around the Wright brand for a long time now. Definitely would recommend checking out the Wright mowers next time you’re in the market for a zero turn. Can’t go wrong with a company when their CEO takes time to answer questions and connect with the lawn care community. No other company is doing that right now.
Oh wow! That is awesome! Every time you watch it, you’ll probably pick up even more. Ed and Jeremiah had so much information to share. What an awesome tour of the factory!
Absolutely amazing to see the building. Fun fact... When Jeremiah was 15 he worked for me at Wright Mfg one summer. So he wasn't always mowing. Hopefully he sees this message and says Hi. In fact I need to reach out to them and get my own tour hopefully. He (and Ed) have turned out to be absolutely amazing young and talented men. Proud of them!
On my new ( purchased on 28 August 2023 / now 15.6 hours ) ZXT 72 61G8 / sn: 161469LF : I just had my dealership: D & J Equipment, Inc in Longwood, FL, upgrade my mower to the Wright part #72410104 " Tweel Wheel Rear Tires." 🤠 OH YEA !
Thanks for watching! Yeah, they have a nice place there in MD. Unbelievable to see in person. It was neat to hear about the process that goes into building a mower. Definitely respect these companies that are making great products so that we can make a comfortable living.
For me absolutely the best video you've put out so far.. Awesome.. I hate to say this but I now have a better understanding why they are so expensive. Like yourself I'm a Ferris guy.. The nearest Wright dealer is 90 minutes from me. We are doing exactly what you mentioned at the end of the video. Buying a new Ferris 2200 ISX and rotating out one of the older machines into a backup role.. One other thing... I love the Ventrac videos and one day I'll have one..
Thanks for watching! I would definitely run a Wright mower. Our closest dealer is about 2.5 hrs away. Maybe we’ll get a local Wright dealer someday. That would be pretty sweet! Thanks for watching the Ventrac vids. 👍
Great video! I have wanted to go through the Wright plant for a long time but haven’t made it yet. I have a son that lives 2 ½ hours southwest of the plant. Here in central Illinois, I have used one Wright Stander in my fleet since 2013. My dealer now has 4 locations. The latest and closest is now only 11 miles from me. I purchased the last Stander X-52 they had in stock last December just before a $500 price increase. By the way, I enjoyed talking with you at the Ventrac outdoor display at GIE-EXPO last October.
Hey Larry! You should definitely check out the Wright headquarters when you go to see your son. Definitely worth the trip. Very friendly ppl there at Wright. And the factory is really something amazing to see. Sounds like you are staying ahead of the game with the Stander X-52 that you purchased. Probably not going to be a lot of options in the next couple of years. Enjoyed visiting with you at the GIE as well! Hope all is well and thanks for checking out the video!
Definitely give you a little break from time to time. I like to switch from standing to sitting just to break up the mundane sometime. Especially after mowing all day everyday. Appreciate you taking the time to watch. 👍
Awesome video. Real nice factory. I wish you would’ve had a q&a session for Ed, I’d like to know why they don’t put a bigger Kawasaki on the ZK than the 27hp?
I can definitely do a follow up with Ed and Jeremiah and try to answer as many questions as possible. I’ll check with them and let you know their thoughts
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri I read spartan was bought for 400 million and hustler and big dog for 375 million I think stanley got the better product and price they have the dewalt mower so I hope they keep innovative in commercial industry
Didn’t want to show very much in the plant. Big turn off for me, just looked at a ZXT today, but after seeing this video it’s all about production and how fast you get them out the door. Don’t thing I’ll go with your company!!!!
They did a great job showing a tour of the factory. Most companies won’t even let outsiders in to check things out. Thankful that they took the time to show me around Wright Headquarters. They are doing their very best to get quality products into the hands of business owners all over the USA 🇺🇸. #MadeInTheUSA
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri - the previous comment tells me this person doesn’t understand how a manufacturer stays in business. The cost of running a factory is mind boggling, plus you wouldn’t allow proprietary information get out there for everyone to see, especially your competition. I recently retired from a very larger manufacturer after 41 years of service so seeing a portion of the Wright facility reminds me of where I worked. Great video tour and interview with Ed Wright. 👍 I just got my ZXT 72 after waiting 4 ½ months for it to arrive due to the production limitations that Ed spoke about in this video. It is a beast…

You’ve been talking about Wright mowers for years! Time for you to get the ZK!
Great video. I want that hat. Didn’t see it on Wright’s website
Thanks, Eric! Appreciate you taking the time to watch. A Wright dealer gave this hat to me last year. Love it! 💯
Great video love manufacturing in America 👍
Thanks so much for watching! Yeah, it’s awesome to see all of this take place right here in the USA! 🇺🇸

The stander with seat seems like a great paring for long day production. Keeps those tired legs working longer even if it isn't ideally perfect.

Is this powder coat paint or enamel?

Both great mowers if you ask me. How’s the Ferris holding up for you?
