Dude. Great video. First off your set up is awesome. Really enjoyed the run through and I love the stop to explain how professional it is to have a "uniform" for your team. That's big. Shawn, keep up the good work. #showercurtain
I can't wait to get an ursa, as soon as i can build my clientele and crew. But for now i have a 6k pro and love it. I'm thinking of picking up a fx30, is it good enough as a B cam?
nice contain and I'm going through your Bts, just an add-on, Is it possible to create a PVC frame for that shower curtain? hahaha I know u don't mind a bout the look as long as it works better or as magic on the camera
Great video as always. Could you please let me know which first light can I get for outdoor/indoor interview setups and other needs? I have a budget constraint and just trying to get my first light? Which one would you recommend? I can stretch my budget upto 250-300 USD
So I would say a godox vl150 and use the shower curtain technique to maximize your output for these very bright backlit days. With the cone it doubles your output basically making it closer to a 300 w light
@@Brookssmedia thanks for recommendation. Is that going to allow me to have somewhat close to perfect window exposure with 40-55 IRE skin? Also, do you believe it would allow me to expose for skin while on midday or high sun? I am not expecting a magic othetwise 1200w lights wouldnt exist, I just want to know if its going to give me acceptable image considering my clients if any will not be educated about lighting and as picky.
So I mean that really depends on a lot of things. For most interview set ups yes. However if you're filming something at like noon-2pm when the sun is really out and it's brightest you may need something brighter. I say test it out in the brightest conditions and if doesn't work for you return it.
8:00 | BROOO. I saw the DJI Mic Glitch and it has happened to me in the worst way. When you record with the transmitter and receiver it works fine but if you record the audio with JUST the transmitter, it will glitch every 60-90 seconds. Have you had this issue? I wonder if the DJI mic 2 has the same problem.
Bro....bro....listen....idk wtf was going on but I was heated that's never happened to me this bad. So I had to pretty much sync up the video manually because it kept losing sync or my words. And I want to say because of all the wifi connection stuff going on but the problem is it never messed with the audio going direct to camera. I have no idea why it was doing that
Bingo. One time I had to manually sync six hour long videos. It’s nuts. I have looked online and have not found one single fix for this, and it makes me skeptical to buy the mic 2.
So out the gate I would not buy the dji mic2 simply off the fact it doesn't have a locking lav. I've had the lav disconnect on me before using them and that's why I got the rode pros. I say get the rode pros over the dji mics or wait to see if they drop a dji mic pro

@@qvisionmedia7195 Most definitely big dog. Follow me on IG let's stay connected!
I personally like the sennheiser g4 lavs over anything rode just more pro level audio but I'm feeling your set-up shots look great.
I wanna say the g4s is what my Gaffer was using for back up. Appreciate it big dog
2:11 - I find 18:1 (from firmware 7.7 and later) to be more than adequate.

The Fx30 can be used as an A cam it’s a solid camera and I have no issues with it
Dope set up
Appreciate it man!

Thanks for watching. Truthfully the pvc frame sounds like more work and more of a hassle vs just clipping it on to a boom arm
