What do you think about lidar scanners to get AF for the Blackmagic? I think its also a good alternative, instead of buying a new cam✌🏼 but i totally get the point of buying the fx30
Could for sure work! I've just never played around with anything Lidar, so trusted the great autofocus of the sony instead! It's also just a very convenient body for UA-cam!

im curious what format you shot this video in. The over all picture is very dull and kinda soft unlike other FX30 video ive seen.
All shot in the highest quality from the FX30. I use a film emulation on a lot of my videos so perhaps that's what you're seeing that's different. Super sharp on my 4k monitor when playing in 4k resolution! Anything else will be UA-cam compression issues.
@@DanielJamesBird ahhh yeah thats what im seeing. Makes sense lol my monitor is a potato, so I was just curious as im looking to buy an fx30 myself.
