Iguazu Falls (Argentina) 1:20
We arrive into Puerto Iguazu and head down to the Argentine side of the world famous Iguazu Falls. We explore 2 thirds of the world’s largest series of waterfalls by suspended platforms above the falls including the famous Garganta del Diablo (Devils Throat) section of the Falls. We reach the upper sections by train and by foot through the jungle which is teeming with coatis, monkeys, toucans and other birdlife (including a chestnut eared Aracari), and a Red Brocket deer.
Puerto Iguazu, 3 Borders 14:26
After an amazing steak dinner at a Parrilla (grill) in Puerto Iguazu we spend the following day exploring town. Our first stop Tres Fronteras or 3 Borders on the Paraná and Iguazu Rivers. We have a fantastic riverside lunch and take a boat ride along the rivers.
Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) 18:49
We cross into Brazil and continue onto Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. Known as the busiest of the 3 cities we explore its main shopping district before heading back to Brazil.
Iguassu Falls (Brazil) 20:34
We start off with a Birds Eye view of the waterfalls from above on a helicopter adventure. Afterwards we head to the Brazilian section of the falls where the weather opens up to give us spectacular rainbows. A perfect end to such a spectacular journey!
