Must-Try Blueberry Oat Scones Recipe!

  • These scones are great for breakfast or brunch. Serve them with tea or coffee and some more almond butter and blueberry chia jam!
    Ingredients:
    - 2 1/2 cups oat flour (oats pulverized into flour, you can process rolled oats in your blender)
    - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    - 1/2 cup monk fruit sweetener or any sweetener of choice (1/4 cup maple syrup would work too)
    - Zest of 1 lemon
    - 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (I used frozen)
    - 3 tablespoons almond butter
    - 1/3 cup applesauce
    - (not filmed!) 2/3 cup unsweetened plant milk, preferably soy milk (high in protein), plus 2 tablespoons for glazing
    - 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves
    - 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
    Bake at 375 F for 15 minutes.

    I used to suffer from depression and cut grains out and my depression and anxiety decreased tto almost non existant
    There is defineitly something to the keto diet and brain functioning - and I am a vegetarian.

      It depends on the kind of grain you're consuming..
      Good grains most experts would recommend are-
      Millets (a plethora of millets actually), oats, Rye, Farro, Buckwheat, Teff, Bulgur Wheat, Amaranth(pseudograin), Quinoa(pseudograin),Barley,etc...
      But your experience can be different with grains.. there's channel called heavenly fan (fan being her name . She's a keto vegan..).
