if u have the amped weapons boost and use it for any of these launchers it automatically becomes an anti titan weapon that's what I like about the grenadier weapons

I always loved the Sidewinder. Micro-rocket launchers are just so appealing.
Please don't take his advice on softball. I have already regenerated with it and have over 350 kills with it. I can confidently say that the best way to get kills with it is to stay on the move and always hip fire. Best used with grapple hook to launch yourself into the air. Height is key.

I think you have to realize you're less shooting the enemy so much as bombarding them with artillery
it's more a weapon that has hit and run tactics. you go in to action, blast every enemy in the area then retreat and reload.
The content is so good! Not only I learn about the weapons in Titanfall 2 its also very interesting. I like how u give the weapons it's own personality.

What the Sidewinder lacks in splash damage, it makes up for in armor penetration (according to one of the tips the game gives you about this weapon)

love the em4 cold war. it definitely takes time and some adjustments (delay of fire after pulling trigger) but once you get it down, it is very fun and rewarding to use. definitely takes skill to use it as it was meant.
Yeah the delay messed with me a lot when I first started with it but it quickly becomes part of the package.

i have used the coldwar since i bought the game and as a gen 4 pilot and a gen 8 coldwar user im glad it finally gets some of the recognition it deserves it always gets thrown aside by people who dont know how to use it but when you actually put in time in the movement system and learn how to use it you can absolutely decimate lobbies with your handheld bombing run

Ha nice. I've been using ONLY grenadier weapons for the last week and I've got to say, they're a lot of fun and they make the game feel a bit different. And they can be pretty damn powerful sometimes ;p

I've only just started using heavy weapons and the first one I picked up was the softball and I never understood why but you changed that and I realized I'm exactly the same way I like the sidewinder and the EPG 1 thank you for the help can't wait to get the cold war

I've got over 3,000 kills with the softball. Hands down one of the best guns in the game. Takes a truly skilled pilot to use it effectively. I've had kills across maps against snipers with it.

At close range the sidewinder has epic hipfire action. Also, all the grenadier weapons are a lot of fun. I really really really like playing with the soft ball and Epg for the fun factor.
I also, got very lucky with a random epg missile making a gooser. One of those random "fuck it" shots that u assume won't merit the kill but as u look away their name shows up in the kill feed
Yeah the sidewinder is a monster at close range. Two shot kill. I hardly ever get goosers so if I ever get one with the EPG I'll jump for joy (and you can bet I won't be recording lol)

I MAIN the EPG-1. I LOVE it!!!! EPG, stim and high wallriding skills will keep you at the top of the list in every match. AND its realy fun and satisfying to get em mid air kills

I like running the softball with stim. A sort of run and boom play style. Maybe not the best, but I have fun with it.

I don't know if I ever told you but your profile pic is awesome. The specialty weapon classes (Grenadier & Sniper) are the hardest to use so no surprise you're having a tough time. The hardest thing for me to get used to was maintaining a height advantage. I find it almost impossible to land shots with any of the grenadier weapons unless I'm above my target.

I'm happy that you say Cold War is the best, I really love Cold War and i'ts pretty perfect for a parkour nerd like me. It's really satisfying to kill other pilots while wallrunning with Cold War. Even tho it lacks abit of reload speed it's a really good grenadier but the other grenadiers are pretty good too but it's perfect for a few certain playstyles, for people who suck at wallrunning and camp more than roaming around then Softball is the perfect weapon for you. People who has bad aim but can handle recoil alittle bit then I guess SMR is the perfect weapon for you. And people who's really good at caculating where the projectile will hit (What I mean is like Battlefield where you have to aim higher to hit a enemy from a long distant) and keep their distant far away from their explosives (including keeping away from your own grenade launcher shots) then EPG is the perfect weapon for you.
Man, I love the Cold War with phasing. Get up high, keep moving and keep squeezing the trigger.

I used the sidewinder smr yesterday and for some reason I just can't let go of it, even when my KD ratio is embarrassingly bad with it. I guess there's just an incredible amount of satisfaction in firing those rockets.
You're right-it feels good to shoot. I'm almost sad that I don't have to record any more grenadier footage so I'll be playing with "normal" guns again lol.
p.s. it kills pilots in 2 direct hits so if you do manage to git gud with it, you'll have a TTK similar to the AR's and SMG's.
iBluairJgR another thing you forgot to mention is that all of the grenadier projectiles have significantly higher travel time than assault rifles and most other weapons so you have to predict you enemy positions on long ranges, making them pretty hard to use.
They need something like a m79 of China lake as a grenadier option. Imagine a grenade launcher that could stick thermite on to enemies but being a pump action or break open action it takes longer to reload and more Accuracy. The pump action I could imagine shooting thermite shells that leave a large mess.

Cold War looks like something I should try
yony reicher indeed, it is Almost impossible to hit an airborne target with it but it is superb to remove the remenant fleet drop pods in bounty hunt, so you Almost alway are the first to fall and you can then try to snowball out of control

I don't know man, I find the Cold War to be the weakest of the class, simply because it makes direct encounters so difficult with its delayed fire. You're either sneaky and surprise people from behind, or you're dead. It's also not very accurate.
The EPG only requires you to be accurate. The way I see it, it's a classic rocket launcher, like the on in Unreal Tournament. Kills on direct hits. Probably the most balanced rocket launcher these devs ever put in their games.
The Softball is like a faster shooting EPG, with a very short fuse time, so I'd say it's more forgiving. Direct hits are still one-shot kills.
Sidewinder is basically a better L-Star. It's a 2-shot kill and requires only a little bit of tracking and prediction, because the projectiles are kinda big. It's like the plasma rifle from Quake, but much stronger. Take it with extended mag and you'll kill everything. Imho, this is the best in class.. Only downside is the obscuring rocket smoke trail.
The soft ball is great when riding a friendly Titan

Eyy thanks for the compliment on the writing! It varies between videos but for these weapon overviews it amounts to about 1 ~2hrs of writing and rewriting. It's only about a page to two pages per video but there are usually multiple versions of each section before its done.
Whether it's 1 page or 3, I still love your style and your voice. Keep it up my friend.

Everyone else I've talked to thinks the softball is by far the best and you rate it lowest XD it's like an epg with six spammy shots at a time instead of one, but you're right about the slight delay being a big deal
Ha I was worried I was making the Softball seem like a bad gun. It's not but on paper it does have a lot of drawbacks and those drawbacks can be a bitch in combat too. Also, I didn't mention this but I find the Softball to be the best at killing titans out of the grenadier weapons. It does nearly the same damage per shot as the MGL.
saw this video so and I came back to it, since I'm not good at all at, a.d.s so I tried the softball but never behind a amped wall still get killed but I'm having a blast, blasting the chits out of pilots and titan's alike got over pilot 500 kills since, thank dude good videos
