iBluairJgR I just wanted to say that u were the person that got me to use north star
iBluairJgR so i remember seeing a hint on my screen saying the L-Star is Dual wieldable.
its weird..never tried it but im curious.
iBluairJgR I got a gen 6 Thunderbolt that's my go to the main reason the Thunderbolt is so good is cause when you have 3 or 4 Titans next to each other your damaging all of the witch adds to a greater amount of damage compared to taking on one Titan at a time. it's my favorite anti Titan weapon hands down!

I love the l-star. I'm loving the niche it fills for me.
I mostly use EPG-1 and R6-P Saltball, but recently I came back to L-Star...and it clicked... It feels better than any SMG, and I like the greater margin for error and response time on longer range engagements. Loving it all the way.

Yeah! I've gotten heat for using the Double Take instead of a Kraber or Hemlok, but it's just got this...kick to it, not to mention the sound that it makes, that makes it way more satisfying for me. Plus it looks slick as hell.
I got the L-star to gen 3 before its buff and the thunderbolt is my third most used secondary. where's my cake and 5 bucks? Nah, jk. you should really spend more time with those two they're super fun, and when you learn how to use em' you can become a god
After making this video I definitely will be. I always found them fun but they are satisfying to use as well (and effective).
1'm K1nda 0k? The L star is by far the most underrated gun. It's so fun and really good when you learn how to use it. I recommend using hover with it. Since the projectile time is so slow, the few seconds of stableness in the air let you get all your rounds on target. It shreds.
The Big Boi and the SMR is also underrated

The Thunderbolt is sweet for frontier defense. Just spam the hoards with it and you pretty much always have a titan available

the L-star is one of my favourite weapons
I didn't want to give the LSTAR a chance, but once I tried it, I loved it. Projectile weapons are so fun and rewarding! The rush you get when you successfully track a fast moving pilot! Lovely video, beautiful writing as always, keep it up! I'd love to hear these types of descriptions about weapons in more games.

Thanks m8! Yeah I haven't done one of those for a while now! It's been a nightmare getting matches of LTS (and most of my attrition etc. games aren't spectacular) but when Live Fire drops, I might give it a shot again.
coming back and watching these, i can definitely say, i went above and beyond using the L-Star for a week. it was my primary weapon for the majority of my playtime, i love that gun. i have like just over 2000 kills before i left titanfall 2, love it.
thunderbolt is my most used anti-titan. I love launching it into a cluster of enemy titans and zapping all of them at once. super satisfying. Mine's at Gen 4 already and ive been playing for only a few months

I personally love the l-star. it got the perfect spread and if you are able to work with the slow bulletspeed you can even do sniperjobs from the hip! had my best games with it!
Yeah I do enjoy the Hipfire with it. It feels a lot like an SMG

L-star is a great cqc lmg and I love the Thunderbolt. Peek, take a shot, go into cover. A lower skill ceiling than the charge rifle, but many Titans will actively try to dodge Thunderbolts.

I love the LMGs in TF2. They're the weapon class that I mostly use, the L-Star being in first place. Also the Spitfire and L-Star melt now thanks to the much needed buff.
Yeah the buffs for those two weapons were really well done (and much needed). They put them in a competitive spot.

The charge rifle with the charge hack has a glitch. If you fire, double tap swap weapons so you put it away and take it out right away, you can fire without a delay between shots. This lets you shoot at least 3 times as fast once mastered.

Kinda, I feel like a lot of people just kinda stopped using guns like the devotion or spitfire for more fun guns like the Kraber or softball
Already Gen'd both my Thunderbolt and L-Star... and I'm really tempted, once I gen all the rest of the weapons, to make a loadout that uses both of em so I can be the classiest Pilot in the Frontier! Slinging energy like it's going out of style!

The L-star used to be my go to. I have like 5 thousand kills with it. It was before I even started using other weapons and I’m like surprised I was Ben able to get a kill with it now that I look back.
I find the MGL to be the most "Daring" AT Weapon as whenever I pick it up I find myself dumping a mag into a titan as I rush them for a rodeo, with the MGL the most effective strategy is usually the most risky close range one.
ive use the L-Star, ended up on top many times, for allmost a year... This is going to be expensive iBluairJgR! :D
I've actually already used the L star and thunderbolt is my 2nd best AT weapon lol. L Star isn't bad but it's more of a SMG. It does some great damage tho lol
Use the l-star with extended mag and quick reload so you can fire longer and reload much faster

After the buff, the L-STAR is currently my favorite gun in the game. May not have the best stats, but god-damn is it fun to use. Like something out of old Quake or Tribes games.
Yeah I'm glad they did right by the L-STAR. I liked it for all those same reason but before the changes it was so far out classed that it didn't feel good at all.

How does Extra ammo work with the L-Star? Does it just increase the duration you can fire before overheating?

unfortunatly, they Change the stats of the weapons so often, that you cannot really stay wth your statistics

I recently found this video, you owe me a cake mister, i played l star for a good part of t2 multiplayer and was really good with it, i hated the spitfire for being so weak compared to spitfire from t1.

The L-Star and the Thunderbolt are my favorite guns to use. Not gonna lie, I hated the L-Star before the buff, but I've loved the Thunderbolt since the beginning.

honestly if i could get this game, id probably use the L-Star and Wingman. (or at least try to, since the Wingman looks like its pretty hard to use.)

Go ahead, try the Wingman! Try both of them, even. Don't be put off by the Wingman Elite's lack of velocity or fire rate, it's really fun when you get the hang of it. Besides, it has a red dot sight.

Not sure I'd say the Devotion doesn't have a soul. Its gimmick at least makes it more distinctive than the Volt - the Volt is the thing that's good at everything, the Devotion is that thing that can spin up.
Though you're right. It's... almost too good, and it's a goddamn monster with the threat scope.

Yeah you're right about the gimmick. I should have given it like. . . a 50% soul for that lol. Besides the gimmick though, it feels pretty lifeless.

I use the L Star already for an hour and it's Amazing,I go on a 45 kill run and Kill 9 Titan with the thunderbolt in 1 round

I feel like a charge hacked rifle suffers the same lack of soul as the devotion and volt, even more so actually. Something about it just feels bad.
You're right. I didn't want to include two soulless weapons but I do enjoy using the Charge Rifle A LOT more without charge hack.
