    Thank you for such a thorough review! I love oils too, but I have to have a very light hand because I have fine hair. My favorites are jojoba and coconut oil. I am very interested in the Keratasse oil, I am going to try to get a sample to try it out.

      It’s so nice to hear from you! With your finer texture do you use it before shampooing or do you use it after? I’m curious because coconut oil can be a little heavy but it’s so nourishing.

    • @tiffdunh
      @tiffdunh 3 роки тому +1

      @@InfinitegardenbyBethK I indeed do coconut as more of a pre-wash mask or treatment, it’s a bit heavy for my hair otherwise. Jojoba oil is great, it’s light enough that I can use it after a wash or even after blow drying.

    To reduce hair fall, eat a balanced diet rich in protein. Use a gentle shampoo for your scalp. I changed my shampoo, hair conditioner and hair oil to liittleextra cocooniooon one year ago, and reduced my hair fall.

      I recently tried Cocoonnion Hairfall Control Shampoo, after a recommendation from a friend. We were talking about my hair, and she told me about this shampoo. Genuinely, after only a few washes, I saw visible results. My hair is much healthier now, and the hairfall has ceased.

    Really good review, thanks! I use L'oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil (Number 3 for extra dry hair) and find it compares well to Kerastase (also a favorite) but the L'oreal is less than half price. Both have silicone but I need that for the smooth feel it gives hair.

    Your hair! Just amazing. I just watched your transition video. Bright lips looks great on you. It looks like my hairstylist and I are on the same path as you. I’m a lot older than you so I am so happy you won’t be wasting your hours as I did in a salon. As fun as it was there are so many things I’d rather be doing. I was just scared. 🤪. My hair is curly like yours too. Love the Kerastase and will try the other oil you recommend. Unite makes a glossing spray that I love and their oil is good. Between dry shampoo, oil and glossing spray I don’t wash my long hair a lot. I love the Olaplex system except for their oil. Actually, I hate their oil.
    Thanks for all the info. At 60 none of my family or friends will let themselves go gray. Not even my 80 yr old Mom! I’m in some major uncharted territory here. 😂 Thanks for the help and inspiration.

    Hi Beth, Thank you for a detailed and informative review. I noticed that my hair texture is changing. I tried the Fekkai coconut oil that came in my Curateur subscription box. I only use it when I have to blow dry my hair and i finish off with a small amount where i have flyaways. I like volume in my hair so i dont like putting anything on the top of my head because it will weigh it down. I think I'm going to give the Karastase a try. I appreciate your the time you put into these videos. You present lovely. You look gorgeous too! Love the red lipstick. Happy Holidays to you! Blessings, Tessie

    Thank you so much for the informative video. Your hair is simply beautiful and looks so healthy and shiny Obviously, what you are doing for your hair is working wonderfully for you. My long silver and grey hair has been a challenge for me at times because it behaves so differently now than it did before it turned grey. I have to admit that not having the expenses associated with covering my grey hair every 3-4 weeks has been been a blessing. Plus, I actually enjoy the silver and grey color. I have used hair oils in the past, but never consistently as they tend to weigh my hair down. However, after watching your video I’ve decided to try the Kerastase Elixir you recommend. Any product a person likes well enough to repurchase again and again is a product worth informing others of. I thank you very much for that and for the time, effort and consideration it took for you to put together this very informative video...

    Is there an oil to use on the scalp to soothe a dry scalp from winter weather? I’m trying to figure out whether or not putting oil on the scalp could actually cause hair loss by clogging the follicles, in which case I wouldn’t want to do it. I have scalp psoriasis but take medication for it that make it a lot better but not perfect, and my it’s worse in cold weather.
